Jill's First Fight

The situation on the fifth floor was tense. Neil, Gristie and Jill clash with a formidable enemy. Because they're dealing with one of the Cerberus of the White Towers. Which they're the most powerful guards in the tower.

To prevent the unexpected attack, Neil dashed slightly to the left and approached Rott. Neil intends to distance himself from Gristie and Jill because Neil knows that Rott's strength is the strongest among them.

Unnoticed by Neil, Rott grasps the chain with his right hand. he spins the chain over his head. It was clear that the spiked iron ball was spinning around his head. He was going to start his attack.

Rott rapidly launched his attack, the chain stretched and the spiked iron ball aimed at Neil. Looks like Neil already knew about this attack. When the ball approached Neil, Neil rolled his body to the left.

The spiked iron ball almost hit Neil. Neil nimbly dodged the attack. Neil seemed to have difficulty seeing because he was a bit of trouble with his long black hair covering his sight.

As Neil had succeeded in avoiding the attack, Rott praised Neil somewhat. He smiled sarcastically and said "Haha, you seem so agile, Rebellious"

Rott pulled back the chain. Until the iron ball slowly pulled towards Rott. But the floor was cracked.

In this fight, if it's long-range combat, then Rott has a lot of luck. Neil also knew about this. He tried to get close to Rott's body. But the spiked iron ball always got in the way. Then Neil muttered, "I have to get close to Rott's body if I'm going to win." Neil also thought of a plan on how to get close to Rott's body.

On the other hand, Gristie and Jill face tough opponents, they seem to have a hard time dealing with it. Because, every time Gristie would attack, Hert always prevented him by throwing several sharp blades at them. Of course, this is very difficult.

What's more, Hert always targets Jill, because Jill's defence is so weak. and Gristie's focus is split in two, between protecting Jill and attacking Hert. Arrogantly, Hert teased Gristie and said "huh, how can you touch me if you focus on protecting that little woman? Just let her die, she'll just be a burden on you"

Gristie's face turned angry after hearing Hert's words. He said loud enough," Shut up!"

Jill who was originally behind Gristie, stepped forward two steps until She was on the right side and parallel to Gristie, Jill felt she would only become a burden if she continued behind Gristie, with a full feeling of never giving up, Jill in a stance with her right hand holding a knife, then he said to Gristie "He's right Gristie, just ignore me, focus on attacking him, I can protect myself"

Hearing Jill's words, making Gristie a little worried, she turned towards Jill and responded to Jill's words "You don't be careless Jill". But after saying that. Jill didn't respond to Gristie, she didn't even flinch. She just in a stance and focused on Hert.

Looks in her eyes so seriously. This little red-haired woman had already made up her mind. She seemed ready to face any attacks that lead to her. Gristie also witnessed Jill's earnestness and solid conviction.

Then Gristie understood what Jill wanted. She turned his head again towards Hert. And now She's stopped concentration on protecting Jill. But now She's more focused on attacking Hert.

Hert realized this opportunity, he smiled slightly because his opponent had been devoured by his provocation. Then he took out the two knives on his shirt. He launched a long-range attack on the two of them. He threw one knife at Gristie and another at Jill.

"Wind Blade"

The two knives rushed towards Jill and Gristie. The distance between Gristie and Jill and Hert was about 8 meters, not that far. Hert accelerated the speed of the two blades with his wind element. Also, he coated the surroundings of the two blades with the wind element. It was as if the knife had invisible wings on either side.

Gristie noticed the attack, she held her white sword in both hands, she shouted "get out of there, Jill!". Even without Gristie's prompting, it seemed that Jill already knew about the attack. The knife that shot toward Jill aimed straight at Jill's head. Luckily, Jill was able to avoid the attack. He bent his body down and squatted a little.

So that the knife attack passed through Jill's body. But the wind from the knife blew Jill's red hair loose. While Gristie was blocking the attack with her white sword, there was a sound of scraping between the blade and the white sword. So that the knife bounced off in the opposite direction of Gristie. After successfully deflecting the knife, gristie said to Hert "you will not be able to injure me with a weak attack like that"

But Hert casually responded to Gristie's words, with a tone of sarcasm he said "huh? Are you sure?"

Then the unexpected happened, the wind blow from the knife attack that was aimed at Gristie still drove towards Gristie's body. Gristie could not block the blow. Soon the blow injured Gristie. Gristie's right arm and left arm were slashed because of the blow from the knife attack.

Blood dripped from Gristie's arms, it looked like Gristie's face was so shocked and a little hurt. Gristie was furious because She didn't predict that the wind blow from the knife attack could hurt him, Hert was excited, he laughed and said to Gristie "hahaha, you underestimate me, Lady!"

Then Gristie replied to Hert's taunts, he said "I will not get caught by your trick for the second time"

Then Jill got back up again, she stood up straight again with her stance. She was so persistent even though there was nothing she could do. But she couldn't stand by and she didn't want to be a burden to Gristie all the time

Then Gristie suddenly spoke softly to Jill. She said, "Hey Jill, stand behind me, you still remember what Captain D'Breick taught?"

"Huh? What do you mean?" Jill looked confused by what Gristie said. Then Gristie said "listen, Jill, do the attack as taught by the captain, you attack him after you hear my cue"

Then Jill was a little unconfident, she said to Gristie "but, I never tried it at all", then Gristie's right hand grabbed Jill's left shoulder, and said "I'm sure you can do it" ending with a cute smile Gristie.

Jill looked down, she could no longer dodge Gristie's words, she didn't want to disappoint Gristie who had trusted her. She also convinced herself that she could do it, then Jill agreed to Gristie's plan, she moved slightly behind Gristie. Seeing Jill moving behind her, Gristie said to Jill in a low voice "remember Jill, you have to keep following me behind, and attack as hard as you can after hearing my cue"

Jill also said "fine" even though it was clear that she still had doubts about being able to carry out the attack.

In front of the two of them, Hert laughed he said "hahaha, really interesting, what are you planning to do? I can't wait for it" then he took the knife in his shirt, but the knife he took was more and a little bigger than a previous. He held three knives in his left hand and three in his right hand.

Before attacking, Hert said, "now, can you avoid this attack". Then after a few seconds, he threw the six knives at the same time.

"Triple wind blade"

The six knives rushed simultaneously towards Gristie, it seemed that Gristie had guessed with this attack, she said loudly "as my prediction" then Gristie bent her left knee to the ground, she held her white sword with both hands, and she stabbed the sword into the ground Until the sword tip touched the floor, and She shouted

"Light Shields"

Unforeseen circumstances occurred, suddenly a shield-shaped light appeared from the sword in front of Gristie, as if the shield was giving off a dazzling light, whoever saw it must have had their sights disturbed. Seeing that, Jill crossing her arms in front of her eyes due to the impact of the glare from the shield, so was Hert, he was seen also crossing his arms in front of his eyes because the light had greatly disturbed his sight.

As for the six knives that rushed towards Gristie, all of them were blown away when they hit the shield of Light. Even the wind that had previously injured Gristie had not managed to break through the shield. A strong defence is shown in Gristie's light shield skill.

Gristie saw this as an opportunity because Hert's defence had weakened a little, she immediately counterattacked.

"White Swing"

With such lightning-fast steps, Gristie approached Hert, She was about to swing his white sword at Hert, but Hert realized it. This time he didn't take the knife, because Gristie was so close right in front of him, he crossed his arms across his chest.

Hert intends to protect himself from Gristie's attacks, and also he intends to counter Gristie's attacks with his wind element. Then Hert moved his crossed arms forward towards Gristie, the movement of those hands caused a very strong wind attack towards Gristie, like two swords made of wind that were ready to cut through the person in front of him.

However, it seemed that Gristie had predicted Hert's defence as well as a counterattack, then he swiftly jumped very high, and the wind attack was successfully avoided and didn't hit Gristie's body in the slightest. With that jump, Gristie's body twisted above Hert's head. After a few seconds, Gristie's body was behind Hert, he managed to land from the jump right behind Hert. He said "I won't get caught by your trick twice"

Without thinking, Gristie immediately swung her sword twice, she slashed Hert's back from left and right.

"Swing .. swing .." the sound of the sword

Gristie's sword swing was so fast, it only took less than a second.

"Arrrgg.…." Hert was in pain receiving the swing of Gristie's sword, Hert's back was imprinted like an X, and blood spilt from Hert's back, then Gristie gave a signal to Jill, she shouted "Now! Jill ...!"

Hearing Gristie's cue, Jill ran towards Hert, both hands holding the knife, she was about to carry out the attack she had learned from Captain D'Breick. Jill also ventured to release the attack.

"hiaaaa..."

Jill screamed and closed her eyes and stabbed Hert with the knife in the chest. Unexpectedly, the stab released an electric current all over Hert's body. And the electricity stung so hard on Hert's body

"Arghh ..." Hert could not avoid Jill's stab. He just stayed silent and accepted the stab. Hert's face was in pain, lots of blood was gushing around his chest, even his mouth was flowing with blood.

As a result of the stab from Jill's attack and the shockwave from the electric current that came out, without saying anything, Hert fainted. Then his body lay on the floor, Jill also took her hands off the knife. You could see the knife stuck in Hert's chest

Luckily for Hert, the stab didn't hit his heart, it just hit his chest. And in the end, this fight was won by Gristie and Jill.

However, after stabbing Hert, Jill put her knee to the ground, she looked down sadly, she cried after doing the attack, her eyes were shedding slightly heavy tears, she also closed her eyes, she felt guilty because this was the first time she had killed someone.

Gristie also realizes that Jill's attack didn't kill Hert, because she saw that the knife didn't hit Hert's heart, and Hert was still seen breathing. Then Gristie came over to Jill, she held Jill's chin, she lifted Jill's face, then she said in a calm tone "open your eyes Jill, calm yourself, he's not dead"

Jill was a little relieved, but still feeling guilty, then she opened her eyes slowly, she still cried, she stuttered, "but I tried to kill someone"

Then Gristie wisely said, "listen, Jill, if you don't do it, chances are you will die."

Hearing Gristie's words, Jill realized that she was only protecting herself. Then Jill started to calm down and she started to stop crying.
