The next day, Cam went to the prison store. Donna Trachner smiled at her from behind the counter. “Hi, stranger,” she greeted Cam. “How’s it going?” Cam leaned forward against the counter. “I’m doing okay,” she smiled. “What about you?” “Oh, just fine. Same ol’ same old.” Cam grinned at Donna’s terminology. It seemed to be her basic comment on everything. “I haven’t seen Sharon around much. Do you know how she’s doing?” Donna asked. “I’ve seen her in the cafeteria. She looks okay but she stays to herself,” she answered.
