As soon as they alighted from the plane, Ryan handed over his grandma to his P.A who wqs already waiting and told him to call her doctor home for her checkup. "I was just informed that nurse will be here as early as possible on tomorrow morning" His P.A Simon Collins reported. According to the doctor's recommendation, someone in the professional line was needed to monitor the daily health of his grandma since she refused to stay for full treatment.

And because of that he decided to hire a professionally skilled nurse to do the job, it wasn't even up to 24hrs before he got his reply but the only reason it was delayed was because they just had to fly the nurse in from another state. He took another car and drove straight to work again, that was basically what he does all day. Ryan Black, the young handsome bachelor who is the CEO of the many subsidiaries of O'tech Companies. His father did a good job with the company before he died but Ryan expanded it to the renowned organization it was today.

He immersed himself in work without stopping to eat, but he got his secretary to refill his coffee over and over again. It wasn't healthy but who cares, he certainly doesn't care. The intercom rang and he frowned. He dropped the document he was reading and picked up the call "Speak!" He said irritably. A trembling voice spoke up "Sir.....Miss Anna just collapsed and has been rushed to the hospital" Ryan face darkened and he hung up straight. Anna was his new secretary whose only job is to print documents and make his coffee.

And she'd be the fourth secretary he was employing in two months, all of them either fainted or fell sick "why are they all so weak" he thought to himself as he continued his work, the secretary that called to inform him already knew what to do as soon as he cut the call. She sighed as she brought out a list of candidates to choose for the position of the secretary as Anna will not be resuming once she recovered, she had been fired automatically.

The secretary named Zoe Kravitz got Anna's severance pay ready and her salary for the three weeks she worked for, Anna was the only one out of the four who endured for long. And she knew it wasn't the job that was hard but the fear and jittery feeling they get from being close to the CEO everytime was what made them fall sick or collapse.

Ryan picked up his phone to place a call to his P.A Samuel "find me a new secretary, a male this time" he said and hung up then picked up the intercom to call Zoe "don't bother looking for a new secretary for me, someone else will do the job........get me a cup of coffee" he concluded and hung up again. Zoe felt cokd sweat run down her back and tears gathered in her eyes as she prayed fervently to not be fired, she then stood up to get the coffee.

Not knowing the kind of panic he had just put his secretary through, Ryan silently went through his work even when the coffee was deliveres he just hummed in acknowledgement and picked it up while Zoe scurried out of the office. Ryan received another call from his P.A "Sir, I just got a call from the hospital that the nurse that was supposed to resume work today got involved in an accident and a replacement would be sent until she can function again" Ryan eyes darkened as he asked for the personal information of this new nurse before hanging up.

It was Sunday morning and Jade was finding it hard to fully wake up even though it was past eight in the morning. She got up and went to her luggages that was on the living room, pulling one zipper after the other in search for her instant coffee packs, she phone it and let out a breath of relief. She picked one out and went into the kitchen to boil water when her phone rang, she picked it up without looking at the screen "Hello Miss Becker, good morning. I know this is sudden and you're supposed to resume work tomorrow but you're urgently needed to resume work in an hour at the address that will be sent to you. Further explanation will be given later in the day"

"Okay sir" she said unconsciously and the director went silent as if expecting more than that from her but when he saw she wasn't saying anything he acknowledged her reply and hung up. Jade mixed her coffee and hung up the call, she had a sip and immediately felt refreshed. She had only drank half when the call she just received replayed in her memory, her eyes went wide as she checked the name of the caller "New Director" theen she remembered the conversation and her reply.

"What did he mean?! What did he mean ?!" After pacing around uneasily for a while a text message came in giving her the full details pf the place she was going and what her work was there. Apparently she was going to be taking care of a Vip patient temporarily for a month and she was going to be paid three times her salary at the hospital would have been, Jade eyes went wide and she ran into her room to take a shower.

Soon enough, she was scurrying downstairs and met her brotherat the elevator, after exchanging hugs "Where are you rushing to without properly seeing your brother?" He said looking suspiciously at her, "I'll explain later but please can I borrow your car? I have to start.....work .... immediately and I'm late!" He looked at her questioningly as he handed over his car key "on a Sunday?" Jade kissed him on the cheek to which he made a "eww" sound "We'll talk when I get back!" She shouted as she hurried to the elevator.

The drive took her a long 45 mins but she got there in time. It was a whole estate but looking at the way it only had one big Mansion she was sure it was a private estate every other place was full of forest. She got to the gate and said her name into the intercom and the gate opened up. She drove to a stop once she saw the building in sight and parked. Hurriedly picking her kits she rushed to the door, while trying to look as descent as she could.

She was ushered in and instructed ro wait in a room which was like the whole of her bedroom, she appreciated beautiful places but she didn't have the time to look around as she started going through the patient file that was given to her. The person she was treating was an elderly woman who was in her eighties who had diabetes, arthritis and was hypertensive. There was no name on it probably for privacy but she got a clear understanding of the likes, dislikes and recommendation for her patient.

She heardthe tapping of a walking stick and the grumbling of an old woman, she stood up with a nervous smile on her face. According to the report, the old woman had a temper and she wouldn't want to ruin chances at getting the big paycheck .

Ready to show her best side as she came face to face with the woman, rather than smile she looked shocked, it was the same old woman she met on the plane!. Jade didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Then the realization dawn on her, she'd probably be seeing the hot rude specimen more often .....right?
