Stalker — I glared at the girl for the second time, “Actually, that’s a lie.” I corrected her. She had been on and on asking me s****l questions she read on the internet, don’t truth everything you read. The clicking sound of my bedroom door echoed through the walls. Mary and I both turning out heads to see who it was came to face my grandfather. He shook his head to the sides a smile on his face. “Great news dear, I bring great news.” he sang walking up to where we had laid. A puzzled looked was exchanged between I and Mary, we had no clue what he was dancing to, it had to be worth it. Sitting upright I rested my body against the headboard, still looking puzzled I spoke. “I’m listening. What’s the great news your dancing about.” The man rubbed his palms smiling, “She said yes.” it took me a while thinking over what he said, when it popped into my head I stared at my grandfather suprise written all over my face. Mary looked at both of us confused, rubbing her chin she asked. “Who said yes, and who is this she, yes about what. Are you getting married or is he.” Trying to find actual confirmation from grandfather I ignored her, he might have been playing a trick. “Are serious she actually said yes, are there some terms and conditions?” he disapproved with a head nod. “Still don’t get it, waiting for a explanation.” Mary hissed. Giving her all my attention I answered. “This other girl is going to help me out with story writing.” with a nod she understood what I had said. My grandfather on the other hand cleared his throat gaining our attention. “You forgot to tell her you like her, that’s why she’s excited for this.” glaring at the old man I snorted, Mary had no right knowing. Mary smiled brightly nudging my side she wiggled her eyebrows, “I understand now, Josie has a crush.” I shoved the girl off me tearing my gaze from grandfather, I narrowed my eyes at Mary. “None of that, it’s nothing at all. You know grandfather is just over reacting and lying here, I’m excited I’ll finally start writing again.” I spoke trying to trail her off the subject. Mary shook her head disapproving, she clearly believed what grandfather said. I shrugged my attention back on my grandfather. The man smiled, “Since you don’t care, tomorrow don’t talk to her she’ll be my guest.” noting the surprise on my face he continued to speak further. “To keep me company, she’s coming to see me since you don’t like her.” I just shook it off choosing not to ask further questions. Grandfather looked at me amused looking from me to Mary he bid is goodbye, “Anyway I’ll be going now, I have a load of work to do.” My curiosity over took the need to ignore by stopping from leaving I asked. “Wait, why couldn’t she come today?” Grandfather explained everything he was told by her, saying she had plans on going out tonight with friends. When the door finally closed, only I and Mary remained. Looking back Mary she had on a disproving face. “Don’t tell me you’re planning on going.” she asked. Jumping out of bed I stood on the floor with my bare feet, smiling at Mary I stretch my body. “We’re going partying.” Mary sat up her body resting on her elbow, “Josie think for a second, this girl will think you’re stalking her and you might blow your chance. Just wait and met her here tomorrow.” “Then a stalker I shall be because tomorrow is too far.” Mary sighed in defeat, if you can’t beat them join them. “I’m definitely coming with you another boring night in this house will kill me, also need to monitor your ass.” she got out of my bed off to have her breakfast, as I went to bath. Walking down the stairs I made my way towards the kitchen. Mary sat on the island with a sandwich in hand. Taking a seat I looked at the girl, “Where is everyone.” I asked Mary who seemed way too caught up in eating her sandwich. From the corner of my eyes I watched as my mother walked into the kitchen. “They are either out or in their rooms, It’s a great day.” Mum said with smiling. I approved with a nod, “Great day indeed.” anyday without the three at breakfast was something to celebrate. My mum placed a kiss on my forehead before taking a seat beside me. “Someone is in a great mood. What’s her name.” she poured herself a cup of tea. Looking at Mary I glared at her, how could she have already spilled the tea so fast. My mother getting ahold of my shoulder tore my attention away from Mary. She had on a hopeful smile on her face, “Her name is Abigail and there is nothing between us.” I murmured in hopes of not being heard. “Yet, there is nothing yet.” Mary commented, then took a bit out of her sandwich a smirk on her face. My mother sighed, “I wouldn’t dare say anything if I were you Jo, you’re going clubbing just so you can see her and who knows you might just—” Interrupting my mother I shook my head, “Don’t you dare say that Mum. Can I have breakfast please.” I looked at her pleading. They graciously allowed me to have breakfast in peace, with any of the lectures or their s****l comments. When I finished my breakfast Mary dragged me all the way to her room, with no option of escaping. Laying back flat in the bed my eyes glued to the ceiling I spoke. “You know I’ll keep saying no, untill you just choose any right.” I had rejected so many of the dresses she wanted to wear, it was now boring, all her dresses were not at all suitable for me to see her wearing. “Yes, but you’ll eventually help. How about this one?” she pulled out a pink dress from the closet, just by the colour of it, it’s a no a huge. “No, I hate the colour.” The picking and reject show when on for a few more dresses untill I saw something I actually liked. I gave her two thumbs up as I studied the black tight dress, a bit fancy and sexy, most definitely not exposing. Mary smiled victorious, “See I knew you would help.” she went over to the mirror, checking herself out with the Josie award winning dress. I snorted, “You just got lucky.” getting off her bed I began walking to the door but the little thing was following me, looking back at her I raised my eyebrows questioning. Mary stood in front of me crossed her arms she spoke, “Going to pick out yours.” No way in hell, grabbing both her shoulders I locked eyes with her. “Not happening, I’m wearing anything I feel like, no buts. Now let’s do something else.” I started pushing her back into the room, a slight frown came over her but I did not stop. Both on us seated on her bed we started watching a movie, well I did Mary was putting her dresses back in the closet.
