Chapter 10: The wedding

I have hit a road block and feel like I'm moving too fast with the story line and would love some feed back. I dont plan to make it a pay to read but I also dont plan on making it a long story. let me know thoughts and thank you for reading.

Third person pov

Today is the day of Jayden and Harmonys wedding. The pack is excited as the time for the wedding to start approaches. The wedding is set up near the clearing that Jayden proposed to Harmony. There are a few willow trees on either side of the flower arch were Elder Thomas stands.

The seats are benches made of trees from the area. Along the isle way there are white flowers strung together and they are connected on each bench. The walk away has a thin white runner with Jayden and Harmonys names. String lights are in the trees all around the set up. Just outside the pack house is a large white tent set up for the reception. It is decorated with white, purple, blue and pink flower arrangements on each table. Each table is alterationing white blue and purple table clothes with the head table having a pink table cloth with red roses on it.

Harmony is getting ready with Ember and the pups while Jayden gets ready in the down stairs room with the boy pups and Alec. Both are excited for the day to start.

Harmonys POV

Ember helps me put up my hair. She gives me a small braclet with a sapphire on it. "This was my grandmothers. I managed to hide it when the pack was taken over" she says and I smile looking it over. It had emerald and sapphire gems with rainbow looking long bead in the middle. "I love it. Thank you mom" I say using the mom word for the first time. I can see Ember is fighting tears. "I'm glad you like it" she said before excusing herself to go check out the guests. I stand there in my dress. I almost dont recognise myself. I wish my adoptive dad could walk me down the isle or even Josh. I was heart broken that I knew they couldnt be there. I feel some tears starting to form in my eyes when I hear some music starting and smile. Ember was going to walk me down but she told me it would be more dramatic if I walked alone. I grabbed my bouquet and walk towards the doors and then outside. As I approach the clearing I see Ember and Alec talking before taking eachothers arms and walking down the isle. I listen and soon here comes the bride in instrumental plays. I take a deep breath start walking towards the isle. As I round the corner and walk down the isle I see Jayden standing there. I fight tears as I slowly walk down the isle just looking at him.

Jaydens POV

The music for the bride starts playing and my heart speeds up. I watch everyone stand and turn towards the end to see her. Soon Harmony comes into view and I loose sight of everyone else there but her. She seems to be glowing in her white dress. It fit her perfectly and the flowers were beautiful. She gracefully walks down the isle towards me and I look into her eyes. Once she is close enough I walk towards her and extend my hand as she approaches the flower arch. "You are stunning" I say trying not to cry. She blushes as I take her hand and walk her up to the arch. Elder Thomas goes through the vows. "If anyone objects please speak now" he said looking around the pack. A man near the back stands up and I shoot him a look. Harmony looks towards the back too and she bites her lip. "Do you have something to say?" Elder Thomas asks and the man stays quiet.

Third person POV

Everyone is looking to the back of the seats at a man standing. This man had a cloak on so you couldnt really see his face. Harmony and Jayden exchange a glance while Elder Thomas address everyone again. "If no one has any objection lets continue" he said. He then goes through renaming Jayden as Alpha and Harmony as Luna. The pack turns back to the front as Jayden and Harmony are pronounced Alpha and Luna. They kiss and while they are kissing you can hear a gun c**k in the back. Everyone turns and looks to see the man holding a gun pointed at Jayden and Harmony. Harmony breaks her kiss "pups go to your parents now" she commands. The pups run to their parents with a couple of them crying. Several warriors race towards the man. It seems to be in slow motion as he pulls the trigger. The shot rings out and everyone looks around to see who got hit. Soon it is chaotic as pack member, mainly women and children, run towards the pack house for safety. While most of the men get ready to shift and fight along side their Alpha.

Jaydens POV

After the gun shot everyone is looking around. I look at Harmony who is looking at me. "Jayden" she says softly before stumbling towards me. A red stain is starting to appear on her dress. "Stay with me" I yell trying to control my wolf. Harmony gives me a small smile and passes out in my arms. Crimson soon takes over our body. He gently sets her down and allows Ember to start helping Harmony. Our eyes change to redish amber color as I shift. Other pack members run to help Harmony as I walk towards the man my warriors are holding. I let out a deep growl as I approach him. 'Ask him his name' I link to one of the warriors holding him. "My name... You want my name oh strong alpha" the man teases at us. I growl admitting my alpha aura that makes my warriors wimper a little. The man chuckles "that wont help you control me. You see I have no wolf to control." He says laughing. This is only making Crimson more pissed. Crimson finally has enough of this and bites the man's arm. Causing him to scream out. "Gonna kill me or torture me. I have information on spys in your pack. Spys who could take you down today" he says as I take control on Crimson.

'Let me kill him' Crimson snarls at me.

'We have to know who the traders are' I say back to him.

"Lock him in the dungeon" I say as I shifted back. Someone hands me a pair of pants to pull on. I look around and Harmony is gone. I walk away from the man and towards the pack hospital. During the ceremony Elder Thomas transfered the title of Alpha back to me and the title of Luna to Harmony. I walk into the hospital and a nurse greets me. "Hello Alpha how can I help you" she asks and I look at her almost dumbfounded. "Where is the Luna" I say making her whimper just a little. "I'm sorry but Luna Harmony isnt here. Did something happen to her" the nurse asks before whimpering some more. My aura was rather strong right now because I was still upset. I wanted my Luna and she was hurt but not at the hospital. I raced out and towards the pack house. Running up to our room I barge in and no one is here either. "Where is the Luna!" I scream and through every mind link of my pack. Several people say they saw Alec and Ember taking her toward the pack hospital. 'Alec where is the Luna' I demand as I wait for his link. Then his link is broken. He left the pack and so did Ember. As Alpha I can feel when someone breaks the connection.

I race down into the dungeon and throw open the man's cell. "Where did Ember and Alec take my wife" I demand grabbing the mans shirt.

"What is your Luna gone, Alpha Jayden" the man said and I dug my nails into his chest. "Where did they take my Luna" I say indicating each word slowly with anger still in my voice.

"Far from here and if your here with me you are probably not going to be able to track her" the man said laughing. I realised I probably just play into their trap. 'Caleb track the Luna with your team' I linked my Gamma Caleb.

'Yes alpha' he replied back instantly. I growled at my prisoner before leaving. I couldnt believe I fell for their trap.

Harmonys POV

I wake up in a weird place. I'm sitting in my wedding dress half covered in blood still. I feel the pain on my side but it must have started to heal by now. I must have hit my head because I didnt remember where I was at. Everything was different. The room was a pale white color with none of our furniture. The bed was only a twin. Something was wrong and I began to panic. "Jayden" I yell out as I try to stand up. "Jayden" I whimper as I hear a small chuckle come from somewhere.

"He cant hear you." The voice taunts. "He cant find you either Luna".

My heart seems to slip into my stomach. Where could I be? I wonder.

'Try the mind link' Lola says to me and I jump. I always seem to forget that she was there.

'Jayden?' I try to reach out but with no luck. I attempt to stand but my legs feel weak. "I wouldn't do that if I were you" the voice called out. This time it was a females voice. It seemed familiar yet different at the same time. "Show your self" I yell out looking around.

"In time my dear" the female voice rang out. "All in good time".

I sigh moving to lay back down. Some purple smoke starts to fill the room and soon I'm out cold.

Alec POV

As I stare at the monitor I watch Harmony pass out. I had denounced Emerald Forest Pack as my pack. I had left with my mate. Jayden never knew that she was my mate nor did Harmony. Ember walks up and kisses my cheek. "Dont worry love. We have two options for her. She can either get ransomed back to Jayden or we can have her memory wiped. I know a witch who owes me a favor from many years ago" she says rubbing my shoulders. "Did the doctor check her out yet?" I ask and my mate nods. "Jayden will want her and her pup back. I just dont know if she knows she is expecting yet" Ember says smiling. "I'm gonna be a grandma" she says changing her demeanor slightly.

Over the next couple weeks we kept Harmony mostly unconscious so she wasnt stressing out. Embers witch friend showed up but said she couldnt help just yet. I hoped that Jayden would be frantically searching and soon our attack would weaken him.
