I felt so relieved. I still couldn't believe that Aunt Bridget believed me. Well, after I had to prove it to her at least three times. "Wow... I can't believe my niece is a vampire." She chuckled and I smiled shyly. "Yeah, me neither. So you're not scared of me?" Aunt Bridget placed her hand on my cheek and I leaned into her touch. "Of course not pumpkin. I know you'd never purposely hurt me." I swallowed the lump in my throat. Oh I sure hope that is true... "Have you told anyone else about your identity?" I slowly shook my head. Aunt Bridget looked thoughtful for a moment before nodding her head. "Good, keep it that way. We wouldn't want anyone to start up something now do we?" I smiled sadly and nodded my head. "Yeah I guess it's probably for the best." Aunt Bridget smiled before standing up, holding her hand out towards me. "Oh I forgot to mention. The school called. They said if you miss any more school days you're going to be expelled." I shrugged my shoulders. "I don't mind" She looked at me with a disappointed look. "Well I do! So go take a shower and get ready for bed. You're going to school tomorrow." I grabbed her hand, fear suddenly overwhelming me. "But what if I can't control myself? What if I also... I can't kill anymore people Aunt Bridget." She smiled at me sweetly, before pulling me into a hug. "Oh honey, don't worry. If you can control yourself around me you can surely control yourself around teenagers. But if you feel overwhelmed, I'll come and fetch you. Deal?" I looked into her eyes, deeply searching for something, anything indicating that she's lying. But there was nothing. I nodded my head. "Deal." She kissed my forehead before turning towards the door. "Good. Now go to bed and get some sleep. It's gonna be a long day tomorrow." I nodded before climbing into bed, quickly falling into a deep sleep.
I groaned as I was rudely awakened by an annoying alarm. I pulled my pillow over my head, trying to block out the noise. "Come on sleepy head, wake up! I warmed a cup of blood for you... Wow I'm never gonna get use to saying that." I peeked from underneath my pillow, grinning up at her. "Thanks Aunt Bridget." She smiled sweetly down at me. "No problem honey. Now get your lazy ass out of bed before I come and drag you out." I throw my pillow at her which she gracefully side-steps. I swear she has more grace than a vampire. I chuckle to myself, sipping at my cup as I looked at the outfits in my closet, deciding on what to wear. I decided on a pair pf dark skinny jeans, a white tight-fitted crop top and my high-heel boots. I quickly did my makeup and searched through my cupboards for my eye-contacts. I quickly placed them in and stared at myself in the mirror. My eyes look like a darker brown than what they usually were, but at least it doesn't show the red glow. I quickly make my way down stares, grabbing my leather jacket on my way down. Aunt Bridget was sat on the couch, reading the newspaper as she sipped at her coffee. It was actions like these that made you realise that she is older than she looks. She looked up at me and smirked. "You look hot." I laughed out loud. "Well I have to make a great reappearance!" She started to laugh with. "So are you ready?" I nodded, slinging my backpack over my shoulder. "Yeah let's get this show on the road."
