“Can you stop what you are doing right now, Vera Gracia? You looked like a retard. You are humiliating yourself, and why are you being so close to those men? Do you know them?”

Rio pulled Vera’s hand, they are now at the Bar of his cousin—Vera’s brother. From the moment they entered the bar Vera suddenly removed her blazer, she then begun to talk with men in the corner. Because he’s not really a party person he allowed her to do what she wants and he just sit on the vacant sofa but when he saw Vera being wild with the boys she with he stood and drag her to his place.

“What? I was just enjoying the night, Rio, we came here to party—

Rio cut Vera from talking, “We came here to talk to Timothy, any moment he will be here, and can you please stop humiliating yourself Vera? And please, watch your moves, they know who you are, you see those men? They like what you are doing and look at their phones, they looked like they are filming you,”

“You mom and dad would get mad if it will lean on social media, Vera. You know our family is very strict with the good reputation we have, right?”

Vera just rolled her eyes on him because of what he said and Rio just sighed because of her action. He needs to tie Vera on him just to make sure she will not going to do anything. It is hard for him to knock of some senses on her that’s why he needs to use physical strength now. He knows what kind of woman Vera Gracia is, she is the headache of their family.

She always do what she want to do.

“Hey, Riodio, correction but you are the only one who are going to talk to Timothy, and can you please let go of my hand right now? We looked like a couple, How am I going to have a boyfriend tonight if you are clinging on me like that, huh?” she said.

Rio has only small patience left, he wanted to smack his cousin’s face.

“No, you are going to stay here with me until Timothy arrived and until we go home. I just wanted to remind you also that your brother let you because you are with me and he knows that I can discipline you and stop you from embarrassing yourself.” He said.

Vera didn’t talk about and she just rolled her eyes on him. When Rio’s phone ring, he saw that it was Timothy who’s calling him. He immediately answered the call and then he heard his voice.

“Hello, Rio? I wasn’t familiar with the place and I don’t know where you are. Are you at the bar now?”

Rio closed his eyes for a moment when he thought that he didn’t even send Timothy a message that he’s at the bar now with Vera.

You were so excited to come but you forgot to tell him that you are at the meeting place now, My goodness, Rio!

“I-Uh, I am sorry, Timothy, yes, I am at the bar now, I am with Vera. We are at the corner you can easily see us because it was at the closest part when you enter the bar.” He said.

“Okay, okay, I am here now.”

After the call ended. Rio felt nervous, this is not the first time that they are going to meet, he met Timothy when he came back, he visited their school and they had a short conversation.

“Where is he now? Is he here?” Vera asked him.

He nodded and then put his cellphone on the table.

“Are we going to order now?” he asked.

“Yes, of course! Waiter—

“No alcohol for you tonight, Vera.” He said and then he saw Vera’s eyes widened.

“What?! Why am I here for? Oh my, please Riodio, just five bottles, please?”

He shook his head, for Vera five bottles are few, she can actually drink a lot more even though her alcohol tolerance is very low. Actually, he admired her for that but still, he knows that she’s turning into an alien when drunk and he doesn’t want Vera to see her like that..

“Rio!”

When Rio heard someone shouted his name, he swallowed hard, he knows that voice of course.

“Rio, just stay calm, and normal okay? I am getting nervous because of you.” Vera whispered.

Rio pinched her shoulder and she heard Vera curse at him. He usually do that when nervous and because Vera was so close to him he did it in her skin.

“Sorry.” He whispered too.

“Hey, Rio! Hey, Vera! I didn’t know that Vera would come too.” Timothy said and sit in front of them.

“Hello, Timothy, I didn’t know that you wanted to be alone with my cousin, do you want me to leave the both of you now?” Vera said.

What the hell?

Rio looked at Vera and he leaned closer and pinched her on her waist, he felt Vera moved away a little bit because of what he did.

“Don’t push my evil button, Vera Gracia. Stay and think twice before you say words again.”

After he whispered that Vera looked at him again, and then she smiled. When they heard a noise coming from the stage Vera then look and talk to Timothy.

“Today’s weekend so a mellow music will be played tonight. I think you need tissue for tonight, Timothy, broken hearted right? The musicians are great, songs that will be played later will let you tell what your problems is, and the songs will take your emotions out.” Vera said.

Timothy laughed because of what Vera said, he then felt a little bit of jealousy, he doesn’t know how to communicate and talk like that. He doesn’t know how to socialize that’s why he was so afraid to talk with Timothy alone, that’s why he still need Vera to be with him and  she’s doing it right.

“You are still as frank as before, Vera. Still not changing that, but yeah, how are you guys? Specially you, Rio? I didn’t expect that you are going to message me. I am happy that you cared for me.” Timothy said and smiled at him.

When Timothy looked at him he didn’t expect that. Rio opened his mouth but then no words came out, he then, felt Vera’s elbow pushed on him a little maybe to knock off his senses.

“A-Ah, of course, why would not I care for you? You are my friend.”

Oh Goodness, please, let me survive this night without humiliating myself, please.
