How to tame your tiny God-Lesson one

Lucifer's guide of how to tame a teen God. First of all, the most important lesson is to, never, I repeat NEVER... get yourself into this situation. But, if you are already in it till the tip of your nose, handle the difficulties with pride and try to preserve your dignity and sanity. Lucifer finished writing in the diary, he put it well hidden under his armchair before he poured a glass of whiskey for himself. Valerie got several times on his nerves on this very first day of babysitting. He decided to write his experiences down, in case he looses his mind at least there will be a tangible proof of the reasons! After the flying incident, they spent the day patrolling Hell and Valerie got him in awkward situations repeatedly. She couldn't shapeshift yet, so he had to go around with a sassy, sexy teen girl. I have no problem with people thinking badly of me... But I didn't want to become a pedophile in the eyes of my people! Lucifer though and sent another glass of whiskey down annoyed. When Lucifer realized that this won't work, he took Valerie back to the castle and started doing his paperwork, while he gave a book to Valerie to read. That worked for two hours, then she got bored. How could someone get bored while reading?! Another shot of whiskey slid down on Lucifer's throat. He groaned when he noticed that the whole bottle was empty.

- Fantastic! But at least, this ran out before my patience! I think, I'm doing well! - he never planned to have children or take care of one, but there were great moments along the day, why he waited for the next one. Lucifer walked to his bedroom and fall onto his bed automatically. Deep sleep soon came for him and the next time he opened his eyes, he noticed a tiny woman snuggled to his side and resting her head on his chest. Oh no... I forgot she was sleeping here! Valerie slept profoundly and smiled in her dream. Lucifer gently removed a piece of her hair from her gorgeous face and asked softly.

- So, this is the face of someone having a pleasant dream... Out of nowhere, Valeire took a deep breath and gave out a low cooing voice. Lucifer hardly could hold himself back from cheering. She is so cute! Wait... Cute? Why am I thinking about you? He asked Valerie in his mind and remembered of what it felt like seeing her fall into the abyss again. Although he knew she cannot get hurt, he just didn't want her to get hurt and these feeling were totally new. Lucifer's heart throbbed when Valerie snuggled more to him, hugging his chest.

- What are you doing to me Darling? - he asked with a big sigh and decided to close his eyes to get some more sleep. Valerie opened her eyes when she felt Lucifer taking breath calmly. She listened to his heartbeat and while she inhales his scent mixed with the smell of whiskey, Valeire wondered how would it be. She watched the sleeping Lucifer and realized, that her feeling for him, were like the ones in their favourite fairytale. When the Prince saved the Princess and their eyes met, a happily ever after started. Could we have that? If I just set you free and start living for myself instead of my revenge? I can show you the world once the seal is opened, but, would you feel what you feel now? Or would you turn your back on me because you don't need me anymore? Valerie caressed Lucifer's face and carefully got out of bed. She headed to the door and took one more glance of Lucifer before she headed home. Belyar was sitting on the porch as usual, covered in a big blanket and sipping his morning tea, while he watched the ice dancing om the hell roses. When he noticed Valerie's figure approaching, he got up and brought another mug of tea, while Cinnamon carried a heavy blanket. Valerie hopped into her rocking chair and took the blanket from Cinnamon, thanking the cerberus with a head pat. She took the mig after covered herself into the warm blanket. Belyar handed her the mug and she took a big sip.

- How was your day Sweetheart? - he asked curiously after he noticed Valerie's blush. - - - Have I ever told you how much I hate this transition? - Belyar laughed and nodded.

- So...what happened? - Valerie drank some of her tea and turned to Belyar.

- What does it feel like to be in love?-she asked and Belyar almost choke on his tea.

- What did you ask Sweetheart?

- I hate to admit but, I think, I'm falling in love with Lucifer. But I've never experienced love in this form, so I don't know. - Belyar looked proudly at his Master. She spent decades only by surviving for her goal, but she never lived after she had been kidnapped in her childhood. From that moment, her childhood, carelessness and freedom has been robbed from her. She checked each corner, trained herself only to die by the hands of an animal. Belyar's bone fingers held the handle of the mug stronger when he remembered of Valerie's story. If that wasn't enough, people continuously tricked her, using her kind heart, until they break it. There was nothing but a stitched, patched, bleeding heart in her chest for decades. She killed like a robot and started to enjoy other's suffering to a point where Belyar worried she will loose the remaining fragments of her humanity. Now, she was feeling something new.

- What do you feel that makes you think you are falling in love, Sweetheart? - Belyar asked kindly and Valerie watched her breath slowly disappearing in the cold breeze before she answered.

- I just, like to be around him. He is handsome, and funny. Also, he cares about me in a different way and respects me. Belyar... - Valerie turned to him and said with a blush.

- I feel safe when he is near. I don't feel like I have to hide or be someone else apart from myself. I've even wondered today. - Valerie played with the corner of the blanket and avoided Belyar's glance while she said.

- How my life would be by his side. After I set him free, could I live a relatively normal life with him? I mean, can I let my pain go to a point where, I can truly live for me? - Belyar smiled at her and said softly.

- I think you can do anything you want to do, Sweetheart and live however your little heart desires.

- Won't you be disappointed if I waste my powers? If I won't change the world? - she asked and Belyar sighed.

- I won't be disappointed Valerie, it is true, that I long for a world you would be able to create. But, if I can see you free, and happy, I'd be satisfied with that little piece of true Heaven as long as I'm part of it. Also, we are eternal Sweetheart, why rush? Live first, do silly things! - and that moment she remembered of how she acted the day before. Valerie blushed and buried her face into her hands before she exclaimed.

- Oh f**k me! - she said out loud and felt a hand on her shoulder.

- If you give me a chance, I'd take it! - even her ears blushed when she recognized Lucifer's voice.

- Before that, grow up and for the love of my Father please leave at least a note if you are going for an adventure! I've already searched the whole f*****g castle! Demons think I'm loosing my mind! Why are you torturing me young Lady? - he asked dramatically and Valerie got up from the rocking chair. She stood in front of Lucifer and glanced up at him with her huge, golden puppy eyes.

- I'm sorry. - Lucifer groaned and shrugged.

- Apology accepted. Are you coming back or will you stay? - he asked and he seemed unbothered wether she stays or leaves with him which made Valerie feel uncomfortable. Belyar saw the yearning in Lucifer's eyes for her to go with him and he smiled at these silly kids.

-I don't want to be a burden for you. - Valerie said and this was her normal voice and usual attitude. Lucifer felt a little disappointed and Belyar hit his forehead.

-My Lady! I forgot to prepare the potion! I'm afraid you'll stay like this till tomorrow! - Valerie looked confused at Belyar, there was no potion he had to prepare. Lucifer smiled and picked Valerie up. He swung her over his shoulder.

-In this case, I'll keep an eye on this little monster till tomorrow! See you Belyar! - Lucifer walked happily with Valerie hanging from his shoulder and Belyar mouthed to the confused Valerie.

-Have a nice day Sweetheart! Tricky little bastard! Valerie thought and Lucifer took off with her.
