COLE:
I caught her scent as soon as she came into town. My wolf began to howl and pant, wanting to be let out badly. Mate! he screamed. "How could this stranger be my mate? Someone we hadn't met, someone we didn't even know?" I questioned my wolf. Her scent was intoxicating though, although masked with a heavily scented vanilla smell, I could still make out her sweet intoxicating scent. . I had to meet her I couldn't wait any longer. I followed the scent until it brought me to the local bed and breakfast in town, ran by my Aunt Betty. The closer I came to her the more I could hear her heart beat, and smell her sweet scent. "She's scared. Tread lightly! My wolf warned. The scent of fear overwhelmed her. I finally walked in the door of the B&B. There she was. Long caramel brown hair. An hour glass figure any man would die for. But she wasn't pure. She had been with another man. I could still smell him on her and it turned my stomach. As I shut the door she turned around .Her eyes grew wide with terror. Those magnificent big brown eyes, with swirls of gold. Her bottom lip trembled, which made me want to take her in my arms and protect her forever. We locked eyes and it began. We started imprinting, I could hear her thoughts, feel all of her senses in that moment as she could mine. We just stood there staring at each other as our souls molded into one.
As quickly as it began, it was over. I waited in anticipation to see what she would do. My wolf was clawing to cole out and introduce himself to his new mate and I could feel that hers was as well. We had a direct li e to each others feelings now. She was confused and terrified. She quickly adverted her eyes to the floor and then turned to my Aunt Betty who had witnessed everything that had just happened. Aunt Betty a short, white haired, round cheerful woman smiled at her. "I'll see myself to my room. Thank you Betty!" She stammered. "WAIT!" My wolf screamed. She stopped suddenly and stood there for a moment with her back to me. She had heard my wolves plea. Then she disappeared around the corner. My wolf whined. "Its okay. " I assured him. I turned to Aunt Betty who was smiling at me like she was a little school girl who had just received her favorite toy for Christmas. I smirked at her, "What?" I asked. "Don't you what me Cole Ardin." She scolded. "You just imprinted with that girl strongly. " she laughed. "I know. " I breathed. " But she isn't pure, I dont even know her." I groaned. Aunt Betty's face went from smiling to a look I hadn't seen since we were kids and she caught us smoking in the backyard, "You listen to me." She pointed her bonie small finger in my chest. "You don't know that girls story. Don't you be someone to judge a book by It's cover. Open it Cole, and read it from beginning to end, and then you tell me why it is that God chose her to be your mate." The words hit me hard, as well as my wolf who whimpered from being scolded like a little pup. "Your absolutely right." I admitted. "Of course I am." She smiled. "You are different Cole, you always have been. And with you as our Alpha this pack stands to do amazing things. Now you have imprinted on this young lady, and something is telling me that her story is not something your going to like to hear. She is broken, and now you need to help her heal, because the girl Cole, she is the most powerful wolf besides you I have ever felt, and you will do great things together." She finished.
After BIDDING goodbye to Aunt Betty I made my way back to my diner to close up for the night. Her scent was all over the place. I couldnt stop thinking about her, and what Aunt Betty had said. God had chosen her for me for a reason, and if Aunt Betty said she was powerful, well then I knew there was something special about her. I wanted to know her story, and I wanted to heal her scars, but it would take time, and patience to earn her trust and love. Something told me that she was very worth it.
