The teacher regarded Kevin closely and nodded, "Don't worry. I'll make sure he behaves."
"Thank you so much," Susan batted her fake long lashes.
Kevin's face went dark as he stared at Susan as she walked away. This woman was so annoying. How could she say that to the teacher on his first day of school?
"Kevin, please go back to your seat."
Kindergartens in Nephele valued education very much. Most kids started to learn basic knowledge of elementary school when they were still in kindergartens. But Kevin still thought the things teachers taught were too easy for him.
After the English class, all his classmates came to talk to him. Kids were always curious about newcomers. They saw Kevin's pencil box. It looked pretty cool. Kevin noticed their curiosity. So he pushed the pencil box forward for them to have a better look.
"Wow! It looks so cool!"
"It can change its colors and sort out pencils by itself? Amazing!"
Kevin was happy that he could make more new friends. But someone suddenly grabbed his pencil box, "Show off! It's just a crappy pencil box."
"Give it back," Kevin's face fell, staring at the boy before him.
The boy sniffed, throwing the pencil box to the ground, "You pick it up yourself."
Kevin didn't say anything. The next minute, he suddenly threw his fist at the boy.
"How dare you punch me?! Boys! Beat him up! I'll buy y'all pizza after class if y'all kick his ass!"
Hearing that, all the boys surrounded Kevin. Kevin just recovered from his disease. He couldn't possibly win the fight. But he didn't stop fighting even though he was encased in the middle, being kicked and punched.
The teacher stopped the fight and called all the kids to his office, "What was that? Can any of you explain that?"
Kevin wasn't good at explaining anything. Those boys thus lied about what had happened, causing Kevin to be told off by the teacher.
"No wonder your mother told me to straighten you out! You're such an arrogant and rude kid!"
"She's not my mom!" Kevin yelled.
"I'll inform your parents about this," the teacher seemed a bit impatient.
…
Susan noticed the wounds on Kevin's face when he walked out of the kindergarten, "What… What happened?"
Kevin rolled his eyes, not bothering to say anything. Susan was a bit worried. How could she explain this to Chase? She had no choice but to call the teacher.
When she went back to the mansion, she explained the whole thing to Chase, "Kevin showed his pencil case before his classmates. Some of them were curious about it, but Kevin beat those boys for no reason and he also got hurt… Those kids' wounds are even worse though…"
Chase's eyes went cold, "Did you show off before your class on purpose, Kevin?"
"I didn't!"
"Then who started the fight?"
Kevin went frozen. It was him. But he started the fight because that kid threw his thing to the ground. Chase took his silence as admitting.
Show off… Fight… Where did he get those bad habits?
"Chase, don't blame him. Boys tend to fight…"
"Change his pencil case, bags…everything he uses into normal products since tomorrow," Chase gave out an order. He wouldn't show off again if he had nothing to show off. Kevin's eyes welled up, whipping around and running for his bedroom.
Susan's red lips curled up into a smile. That brat deserved to be taught a lesson!
That night, Cole sent a message to his brother, asking Kevin if he had gone to the kindergarten.
Kevin replied, "Yeah. I went to Evon."
-"Whoa! That Evon? Mommy said that kindergarten is super expensive. You're lucky."
Lucky? Really?
Kevin typed, "It's not as good as you think."
Before he could send it, however, the door of his bedroom was pushed open. Kevin hide his phone under his pillow instantly.
