Lola didn't care if she could persuade Chase. She only worried that woman would bully her boy again.
She turned around and walked out of the mansion. However, she somehow ran into Susan, who was coming to see Chase in a hurry. Susan stopped as she saw Lola. This woman before her didn't put any flattering dress on, but her face was extremely beautiful. Susan believed she hadn't seen this woman before. Was she one of those women who had a crush on Chase?
"Who are you?"
"Chase Dalton's mom," Lola rolled her eyes. She didn't want to talk to this woman. She was vicious with her boy.
Susan froze as she watched Lola walk away. What the heck did she just say?
…
Susan always pretended she care about Kevin before Chase, "Did Kevin come back safely?"
Chase nodded, "Yes."
Susan was a bit disappointed. Secretly, she wished Kevin could disappear forever.
"Sheesh… I was so worried. Did his mommy take him away?"
"No," Chase snapped. Lola Swain didn't deserve to be his son's mother.
"Then who did it?"
"Some madwoman."
A madwoman? Susan frowned. She didn't think Chase was telling the truth.
Chase suddenly stared at her, "Just forget about it. Susan, I hope you can also take care of Kevin's mood. I'd like to see him happier."
Susan's heart jumped to her throat. Why did Chase suddenly say that? Did that little bastard tell something to his dad?
Susan forced out a smile, "Of course, Chase. I'll take care of Kevin."
…
Lola was still worried about Kevin. She was quite absent-minded when she cooked dinner, leading Monna to pout at the food, "Mommy, how much salt did you put into the dishes?"
Lola had a taste and stuck her tongue out, "Sorry. Mommy's gonna make you guys other dishes. Please wait a minute."
Cole asked worriedly, "Mom, are you worried about something? You looked upset."
"Mommy's okay," Lola smiled, mussing with her son's soft hair before she went back to the kitchen.
Cole could tell there must be something wrong. Mommy had gone to Kevin's kindergarten today. Whatever bothered her must have something to do with Kevin.
After dinner, Cole went to his bedroom and started to text his brother. But Kevin didn't reply to his message the whole night.
Cole checked out his phone the minute he woke up the next morning, but he still didn't see any reply from Kevin.
What happened to Kevin? Cole was a bit worried. He decided to go to Kevin's kindergarten and take a look.
…
Meanwhile, Kevin had finished his breakfast. Susan came to the mansion on time, bringing the newest set of Lego to the boy, smiling, "Kevin, look what I've bought! Do you like it?"
