"You must have it," the old lady frowned as she forced the card into Cole's clasped fists again. Cole looked at Chase, consulting his opinion silently.
"Just take it," Chase smiled, "It will make Granny happy." Cole looked a bit hesitant, but he still accepted the money in the end.
"Thank you, Granny," the boy murmured.
"You can call us whenever you need anything," the old lady smiled, "Our prince deserves the best."
Cole looked at the old couple and felt so warm. No one had ever treated him like this except mom. Having a big family felt amazing. Before Cole left the mansion, the old couple were still mumbling that he should come here more often and visit them. Cole promised that he would always come.
When they finally went back to their mansion, the smile on Chase's face stretched. Kevin had never been such a good kid before. The whole party had been lit up because of Kevin. "Kevin, you've been a really good boy today."
Cole smiled sheepishly. He didn't think he had done anything amazing. He just went there and had a meal. But they let him take back all the amazing dishes and gave him money. He felt he was in a dream.
"Daddy, can I take care of the meal by myself?"
Chase nodded before giving it a quick thought, "It's just don't keep them for too long or they'll get bad. Just tell them to throw them away if you can't have all of them."
"Thank you, Daddy."
Chase nodded and went to his company. Cole put all the food in the fridge. After that, he went to Kevin's room and started to play Legos, waiting for his twin brother to come back.
Meanwhile, Lola sent Mia and Monna to the kindergarten. When she came back, Kevin was still waiting for her in the car. Lola smiled at her boy, "Where do you wanna go? We can go anywhere."
Kevin thought for a while, but he didn't know where to go. He hadn't been out a lot because of his poor health. Kevin didn't seem like he was interested in theme parks at all. Lola thought for a second, "Kevin, I know a place. I think you'll definitely like it."
Kevin turned to look at her, his little face expressionless, "Where is it?"
"Just follow me. If you don't like it, we will leave instantly. I promise."
Kevin gave it a quick thought before nodding. It was still quite early and he was not in a hurry anyway. When they arrived at the zoo, Lola looked at the boy with a smile in her eyes, "Do you like this place?"
Staring at all sorts of animals behind the bars, Kevin was clearly interested.
"Did you see those monkeys? How cute they are!"
Kevin cast Lola a cold look, "I know how to look." With that, he went straight to a panda. Lola went silent for a while. Kevin was different from other babies. She didn't even want to blame him. She owed him as his mom. She must make it up for him. Lola thus grew quieter. But her unusual quietness clearly unnerved Kevin. The boy thought he was probably a bit too difficult with this woman. So he added, "Well… You can say whatever you want. You don't need to mind me…" Saying that, the boy walked away in a hurry. Lola smiled. Kevin still cared about other people. It was just that the way he cared was a bit different.
Lola's steps slowed down as she thought about it. When she looked ahead, however, the boy was nowhere to find.
"Kevin! Kevin!" Lola shouted anxiously. A weird noise attracted her attention. Lola looked in its direction and saw Kevin. Someone had taken Kevin, one hand covering the boy's mouth. Kevin was struggling.
"Kevin!"
