Layla Whispercrest
...
I sat in my room fulfilling the deal when someone knocked. “Who is it?” I asked.
“Luna, we are back with the information you asked us to look on.”
My feet connected to floor as I hurried immediately opening the door with a little curiosity. The both of the guards came in closing the door behind them. When they did, I muttered, “Tell me.”
“We looked into Melody and found out that she grew up in our pack, she was chosen to be among the females that served in the packhouse because she stood out.” the first guard said.
“Stood out...” I trailed, “in what way?”
“The servants around her said she was innocent and seemed like she didn’t know too much. This is perfect for someone working in the packhouse.” the second guard said.
Innocent? Someone that tried to kill me? She was far from that. But I wasn’t about to tell them.
“Wait till you hear the shocking part, Luna.”
“Tell me.” I muttered.
“Can it be in private?” the first guard said. That instant I waved my hand to the second guard. He bowed slightly before walking out.
“I ask for some privacy because my sister made it clear not to tell anyone this information came from her, my Luna. She told me that Melody is Garrison’s daughter.”
“Who is Garrison?” I asked curiously.
“The leader of the elders, who tried to eliminate Alpha Jaxon. The day he was supposed to be eliminated, he called a magician who helped him escape.”
“So, Melody tried to use me to hurt the Alpha?” I uttered in disbelief.
“I’m afraid so, my Luna. I asked for privacy because she said they threatened the maids not to let that fact out or else it’ll cost their lives.” he said.
“What is your name??” I asked.
“Harald.”
“Harald you’ll be my most trusted guard and the bearer of information. Do you think you can do that?” I stated with my chin raised up.
“I was brought here to serve you, my Luna. I am ready to do whatever it takes.” he said.
“Alright, I’ll take your word for it. Thank you for this information.” I said to him. “You can resume your duty now.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah, is there something you think I should do?”
“Not really it’s just that I’m really good at creating scenarios. I can set her up, making sure she’s in the dungeon locked up with guards watching her. That way, can’t hurt you.”
“You can do that?” I asked with my cheeks giving a sensation that depicted I was flustered.
“Yes, luna.”
I didn’t expect Harald would be so willing to go at that length to help. So, I didn’t bother pushing it.
“Okay, but can it be quiet?” I asked.
“If I make it happen within the maids’ arena, then yes.” he replied.
“Go ahead then.” I folded my hands saying. A knock came in that minute and the guard with the military haircut came in.
He was not in armor this time making me figure that he wasn’t training anymore. The two guards bowed slightly to the guard before walking out. Maybe he was at a higher rank than him.
“The Alpha said I should summon you, Luna.” he said.
“Okay, can you wait outside so I get ready?” I asked and he nodded. He bowed slightly walking out and closing the door.
Just as he left, I thought about it all. Maybe I shouldn’t have done it at all. I shouldn’t be so fast to trust anyone. Yet, I couldn’t stay here doing nothing.
Moreover, the easy way was waiting till I got a chance and going back to my pack. That way I pretend none of this ever happened.
I leave Alpha Jaxon to sort out whatever issue. But a little voice in my head told me not to do it...
It said there was no use; that I’d not be able to escape so I shouldn’t attempt it.
The minute the guard went out closing the door behind him, it was just like I couldn’t breathe. I started hearing a little voice in my head. It told me to run. You can’t handle the demon.
I moved to the mirror staring at myself instantly. My head pictured him like that day, his horns yellow eyes.
Goosebumps formed on my skin. I shivered intensely walking to apply an ointment on my skin. I still had the gown from earlier on so I left it that way.
The dresser had some makeup so I used some of it giving my eye a soft look. Back in Silvermoon, we were trained to do our makeup ourselves to look good for whoever we were chosen to.
I didn’t know I’d be caught up here. I thought it’d be all roses. I and Andrea always dreamed of this moment.
“Are you ready?” the guard asked the minute I came out.
No. I’m not. I was abducted from my pack and brought here. I left my parents, siblings and am forced to act this role. How do you expect me to be ready?
I wanted to say those words but I kept it all in.
“Yes. I am.”
He took me to the Alpha’s chambers. “Alpha, the luna is here.”
“Come in, Layla.” Alpha Jaxon said.
My hands reached for the door pushing it and closing it behind me. I noticed the room was red and he sat on the bed with his legs crossed.
Knowing what that meant, I reached for my clothes commencing to pull it when his hands stopped me.
“Don’t.”
This was strange. He had primarily told me to take my clothes off whenever he was around. It made me wonder if I-
“Have a seat.” he said. I did as he said sitting on the bed too in a way I was directly opposite him. My gaze was connected to the floor embarrassed about this.
“Look at me.” he said. The minute he did my dark orb eyes connected to his. I examined his features. He had a dark hair which was trimmed; I couldn’t help but notice it was neat. “Is there anything you need?”
I want to go home. But it was all in my mind. So I shook my head.
“No, I am totally fine. I do not need anything, Alpha.”
“Do Not Forget Your Need To Provide An Heir. It’s Your Duty To.” he seethed. “You should ask for anything you need to fulfil that.”
“My parents, they don’t even know I’m here-“
“I told you not to mention them!!” he growled. That instant, he stood up walking to the window. I shivered immediately not sure of what to do.
A little voice in my head just hoped that he didn’t transform. “Alpha??” I let out.
He turned back to look at me with yellow covering his eyes. The horns came out making me halt.
“What was the third rule?”
I immediately searched trying to recall the order he put the lessons the first day I was here. My hands clenched the attire I put on.
“Never try to get under my skin or make me laugh. The moment you go against each lessons, you will be punished. Are we clear on that?”
He had said those words and I must have did that. I shouldn’t have called him.
“I-I’m sorry.” I stammered. “I shouldn’t have-“
He immediately pounced the floor coming towards me. Halting in front of me, he took my hair sniffing it moving on to trace his fingers on my neck.
“Oh Layla...” His wolf has surfaced his demon wolf. It was obvious from the doubled voice and the way it echoed. “I warned you. I told you you’d get punished if you broke any of the rules.”
“It was a mistake, I’ll think next-“
His large palms traced to my dress ripping the entire thing apart. He spilled my breasts to his gaze flickering the n*****s.
I moaned at the sensation with wonder. What was happening with me?
As I thought of this, he ripped the cloth even more pushing the material to my p***y. I closed my eyes, almost breathless.
His hands moved to my slit bringing his head down with his mouth on them. My hands crept to hold his head.
I trailed them along his horns not caring at this point if he had them or not. My body seemed to want more of him. I moaned again and it was loud this time.
He paused his movements staring at me with his transformed eyes.
“You broke another rule. You’re not supposed to enjoy it.”
