A LEARNED LESSON

CHAPTER 4

On a Sunday evening when Efosa went out for fun with her husband at a hotel, she saw Peter. But unfortunately for her, she didn't know that Peter is the owner of the hotel where they are.

When they were busy enjoying themselves in the evening, Peter, being the owner of the hotel, walking around, and saw Efosa and a young man with her chilling.

But he was wondering who the young man was, but he later realized that the young man was her husband.

He walks across where they were just for Efosa to notice him, and he passes by and Efosa keeps wondering what the hell is he (peter) doing here (hotel).

When both couples were done having fun they went to their room that evening.

After spending three days at the hotel, Efosa went to the gym early in the morning for a workout. Peter normally went to the gym every two days but coincidentally they met at the gym that morning.

When Peter saw Efosa, he walked straight to her and greeted her but Efosa didn't respond, but greeted and complimented her for the second time. That's when Efosa responded with a threatening voice by saying, leave me alone, what do you want, I am married already.

And David said to her that he just wanted to have a conversation with her since he hadn't been able to reach her for a few months.

He started telling her how much he had been thinking about her all day long and how much she meant to him.

But Efosa responded, I can't engage in a romantic relationship with you. My husband is with me here. He must not find out that I am still in space with my ex-boyfriend.

But Peter told her that she could just keep it a secret from her husband because he loves her a lot. And here is Efosa, a married lady who still has little feelings for her ex-boyfriend, Peter.

Because of the feeling she still has for her ex-boyfriend coupled with the promise Peter made to her that he will not break her heart anymore, because he is for real at the moment, just that he wants to make it up to her for all the messes and pain he has caused her.

Efosa adheres to it and gives in.

After their discussion, she later went back to their hotel room. While they are secretly dating, on this rainy day, Peter wants to invite her on a date. He sends a gift to her by doorstep delivery in the hotel.

Inside the gift, there is a little note that entails how he wants her to meet him and the precise location where he wants the date to occur.

When it was exactly 08 pm, she went out on the date without her husband's permission.

Because her husband was sleeping, she left him uninformed that she was going out.

45 minutes after she left, her husband woke up. When he did, he called her wife but she didn't respond because he thought that she was in the room.

After some minutes of calling her, he decided to give her a phone call but her number was switched off. That makes him nervous and curious about where her wife went, at that time of the day.

He decided to look for her, so he left the room to go out in search of her. While walking around the hotel, he realized that her wedded wife was having a date with a young man.

Without any hesitation, he went straight to the place where they were sitting. Unknowingly for them, when David appeared, Efosa and Peter were shocked, without any question, David landed a hot slap on Peter's face.

Without any hesitation, Peter also returned the slap which led to fighting between both men.

But Efosa was helpless because she couldn't separate both of them from fighting. That's when she shouted ‘’HELP HELP’’.

People from adjacent areas nearby came straight to where they were and separated both of them from fighting.

When this was on, Efosa couldn't do anything other han be in a state of regret for what she had caused that night.

When the fighters were separated, both men left the scene and the people left the place as well while Efosa was in awe, she sat there for a while regretting what she had done to herself, her husband, and her marriage.

These thoughts remained in her mind, and she didn't know what to do about them. That's when she called one of her friends, Irene and narrated the whole story to her.

But her friends were shocked that their friend was still in a relationship with her ex.

After being In a marriage. Irene told her that was the worst thing to do and Efosa responded that she didn't know either, she didn't know how she developed feelings for her ex, Peter.

Because she left her heartbroken long ago. Irene told her that what had happened had already happened, what they had to focus on was a solution.

But Efosa didn't have any idea of what to do at that moment and she asked Irene for her opinion about what to do next because she wasn't sure what her husband was up to in the stream of his anger.

Irene told her to calm down. She told Efosa what to do next. She told her to go straight to her room to meet her husband and kneel with tears rolling down her cheeks so that a signal could be sent to her husband on how she regretted what she did.

After the call was cut off, Without hesitation, Efosa left where she was and moved straight to her hotel room where her husband was, and did as she was being imparted with the opinion of her friend.

But her angry husband didn't want to see her face because of how he was humiliated by that young man.

Her husband preceded by asking her some questions, some of them are:

In what way do you relate to that young man ?..

Where did you meet him before he decided to have a date with you?..

Where is he from?.etc…

But Efosa couldn't bring herself to boldly say it was her ex, but rather kept mute and afraid of what to say .
