Taking Control

*AUGUSTUS*

As we planned our approach to be prepared for any attack coming our way or that we might walk into. King Barot says that his army is full of different creatures who all are very skilled to fight in their human and in their creature form.

We all agreed for me to try and talk with Flora beforehand. Possibly gain information to better help us understand her plans and get the upper hand. They believe that since I'm her brother she will spill all of her plans.

Let's hope she falls for it

"So what now?" Edrea ask

"Now Augustus leaves for his Pack" King Barot says and Edrea looks at me with sad eyes. I had to look away or I might be backing out of the plan. I just got her back, now I have to leave her.

"Augustus" She whispers but I just cleared my throat

"Right, I guess I should get on that" But before they could respond, I walked out.

"AUGUSTUS" She said my name again and I could tell she was on the verge of crying but I couldn't handle it. So I continued walking until I reached my room.

I shut the door behind me and walked over to my bed. I sat on the edge, putting my face in my hands. Now I feel like crying, I don't want to leave her either. I want to hold in my arms throughout the night as we make love under the moonlight.

I jump up as someone knocks on the door but I immediately know who it is. Her scent rushes to me like a land slide, I breathe in, welcoming it to calm my nerves.

"Come in" I say, longing to see my Mate one last time before I leave. The door opens and she pokes her head in like a child. I laugh at her child-like behavior and she smiles knowing she has made me laugh.

"Are you ok?" She says as she walks in and shut the door behind her. Walking up to me and placing her hand on my chest.

"I am better now that you're here with me and I know that you're safe." I push a strain of hair out of her face as I pull her into my arms. Making her straddle me.. She blushes at my affection and proceeds to put her head down but I grab her chin. "Never look down, love"

She bit her bottom lip and I took that as she wanted to kiss me. I pull her closer and lean into her. She follows my lead and our lips collide. We moan with ecstasy into each other's mouths. The tingles from our body's touching course throughout my body.
