Augustus scent hit my nose before he appeared in the room, I slowed down time just to save the moment. I was so happy to see him again, I felt like bouncing in my seat like a toddler reunited with her parents after a long weekend away. I was so excited I almost forgot why he was here in the first place.

"Edrea calm down" King Barot sighed "I can hear your heart from here and I know you've been practicing but don't use them on your mates." He shook his head. I decided to give our mate bond a try and so far things have worked out.

"Well what do you expect, he's my mate and I haven't seen him in almost a week. I wanted to capture his face for a moment as I admire him." I said bitting my lower lip

I learned how to control my abilities in less than a week. The high priestess that has been helping me with my training said that it's because they were meant for me and so learning them is as easy as learning to jump. It's not something you actually learn to do, it just takes time and the right muscles to develop for it to naturally come to you.

I can slow time and I have the ability to teleport though different flower petals get left behind, depending on my mood. High priestess says its due to my earth ability. I am mostly energy of elements. Which means I am the spirit of Earth, wind, fire and water.

So when I am around one or the other I can call on them, controlling the element to my will. High priestess said I am more than I see right now and I don't know what more it can go from here. I just continued to practice, hoping to find that more one day.

"Stop that, you're going to mess up those pretty lips of yours" I was brought back to the present with his words and I scuffed, rolling my eyes at him. I released time and there he was tall and handsome in front of me.

"I see you accepted my invitation" King Barot said with much authority, it's like he changed into a completely different person but Augustus didn't answer. His eyes found mine and he let out a breath, trying to come towards me but was stopped by two guards he didn't realize was there.

"Are you ok?" He spoke with concern, pushing away the guards hand and I nodded and smiled. He relaxed his poster and faced back to King Barot. "I'm curious, what made you want to take my Mate for yourself?" But the King did not respond instead burst out in laughter. "What is so funny?"

"Your Mate? ... Well, I mean yeah but she is also my Mate. Though I have a feeling you already know that." He crossed his arms.

"Hmm" Augustus folded his arms as well. "Yeah I know, Do you want to know what else I know? King!" He highlighted the King through gritted teeth and Barot growled.

"Everyone is dismissed" King Barot ordered and they all left but him, Augustus and I. "Edrea leave, please"

"No"

"EDREA!!" He yelled

"No, if this has anything to do with me then I am staying right here."

"This has nothing.."

"It has everything to do with her" Augustus growled cutting him off "How dare you try to hide the truth from her"

"Shut up"

"No, you shut up" Augustus and King Barot chest heaved up and down as they bickered back and forth.

"You both shut up and if you" I pointed at King Barot "If you don't want our bond to end up back on the sour note and this time you may lose me for good. I suggest you start talking right now and bet not another lie come out of your mouth." I glared at him and I can see the sweat forming on forehead.

"Yes, my Queen" I smiled at his words, knowing I am the only one who can tame this beast.

"Now instead of blurting out and pointing fingers. Let's get answers. Whatever you found out about whatever you both are arguing toe to toe about can be asked in simple questions." I looked at them both and lean back. "Good, Let's talk"
