I've been talking with the Queen about Edrea being her daughter. She had been overwhelmingly excited but impatient. I told her to have patience because Edrea is just now finding out she is the Phoenix Wolf. Making sure I don't mention anything to her about the truth behind the legend. I wanted to tell Edrea first before anybody else has a clue who she really is.
"Alpha, Queen" One of the helpers ran up to me and bows " I am sorry to interrupt but I have urgent news."
"State your business" The Queen says and the helpers rises with a sad face
"The Phoenix Wolf is missing"
As soon as the words left her mouth we ran up the stairs towards Edrea room. We found Lana panicking, she ran up to us saying how she only left her for a little to find me but she was unable to and when she returned Edrea was gone.
I immediately sent out orders to find her, also sending out an image of her face throughout the link. "We will find her" I said to the two of them before rushing out the room to do my own search with them hot on my tail.
I followed the faint scent of my Mate as everyone else went their own ways. It was getting harder to smell her because another scent was entwined with hers. Could she? I pinched the bridge of my nose, pushing back any negative thoughts of Mate.
Determination took over and I ran as fast as I could to keep up with her. I kept trying to mind link her but I had no success. It doesn't feel blocked and I was thankful for that. Maybe she is unconscious at the moment.
I came to an opening out of the forest and I couldn't believe my eyes at the sight of the burned down pack house and cottages surrounding it. There used to be life here until the King soldiers burned it down, looking for his daughter.
I could see the past energy that used to thrive here. The love that was shared among every pack member here but I can also feel their pain, confusion, their loss and worse of all the life that was stolen from them. I felt sad for them because in the end they were not the enemy.
I didn't have to read the energy to know how beautiful it was here. I was shown pictures of the lost pack. I was shown everything by the King himself as he hated himself for destroying a pack that was as beautiful and lively as theirs were. But nothing he said could have given me an ounce of how they truly felt.
I ducked behind a large fountain when I heard a voice coming from the front of the pack house.
"Look here, I got her this far. You deal with this yourself, she may have been something to me once and I may have held onto a grudge but knowing who she is now. I can not help you anymore, I will not help you." A male voice spoke
"Hmm" Was all the other said. I peaked around the corner to get a better look and their they were. Two hooded figured standing in front of the ruined pack house.
"Seriously, What are.." His words were cut off as the other figure stabbed him in the stomach but before I could react I was hit in the head and all I seen was black as I past out from the blow.
I woke up twelve hours later with an overwhelming headache but I didn't let that stop me from getting out of my bed. I walked out to see the Queen giving orders when she spots me.
"Hey, you ok?" She asked me in a soft voice that I was thankful for.
"Yes, give me the update. What happened? Who hit me?"
The Queen updated me, letting me know that one of the nappers was recovering from a stab wound. I was about to go to the pack hospital but she stopped me, telling me he is still unconscious. I sighed and decided to go to my office to see if I could get any insight on what happened last night.

It's been almost 24 hours since my mate went missing and at this point the only person it points to is King Barot. My sister came to me with files she suddenly had. Everything about the Kings past and also the contract him and my father made two years ago, sits in front of me. I looked through the files with eagerness. I finally came to a page in the contract that stated King Barot is the mate of Edrea.
"Bullshit" I blurted out loud to no one in particular. I flipped again and came to the end of the contract. I looked through the papers some more, coming across an envelope with a symbol on it. It seems to not have been touched because the seal on it was not broken. The symbol on the seal seems familiar.
I rushed to my safe, unlocking it and pulling out the papers I was given on the Yōso-tekina Sonzai. I pushed all papers on my desk to the side. Laying the envelope and other papers I had in its place. I looked for the symbol as I had seen it before and that's when I came across it. It lay in the background of an old text. One that told of a prophecy that's happening right now. I read through it with ease as I grew up learning this ancient language.
As I read through it, I got that a Jade wolf is to unlock the tomb of Malador. Releasing him from his eternal prison but only when the Yōso-tekina Sonzai is fully within her power will she be able to defeat him once and for all.
I read that the Yōso-tekina Sonzai has two mates and my breath hitches in my chest. Thinking of the contract between the King and my father. I continued on with the text saying that she needs us both and with us three together we will stop what really lies in debts of the darkest parts of the two Kingdoms.
Lastly I read that Malador will rise again two full moons after the ceremony of Yōso-tekina Sonzai is revealed. I sat back holding my head as a headache had already formed within it. Knowing well that there's two full moons happening in the next month. I took a deep breath as I got up from my desk, ready to call it a night as I made my way to my room.
I laid on my bed after a long hot shower, thinking of my mate being wrapped up in my arms again and how she might be scared right now.
"I'm coming Kitten" I whispered in the dark
