Chapter 16

"I'm so excited to be going to school together" Sarah squeals and links arms with Taylor and me. Taylor is panting because of the heat. It's a hundred and five degrees outside in florida.

"Um, can we go into the shade?" Taylor ask. I look around and the only tree in the area is on campus. I shake my head and she looks away." I hope they get here soon. It's so hot."

Hey, I'm almost there, don't worry.

Thank you but hurry.

How far are you guys?

Just around the corner.

"They're coming." I said as a bus pull up. Once it pulled away the boys run across the street. Zander was the first one running and Taylor starts running too. Sarah walks over to Justin and wraps her arms around him. Jace is also is running but I am not going towards him. I look at the two couples in front of me as they embrase each other before my feet leave the ground.

"Jace, I told you not to pick me up." He carries me. I look at him and smirk. "I'll give you a kiss if you put me down." He does so and I give him a small peck on the lips.

"I can tell that this year is going to be a blast!" I yell as we walk into the school admission office. "Ok, who is going to talk to the desk person for us."

"Nose goes?" We all nod our heads. Sarah says. "Ok, hands by your sides and on the count of three, one, two, three." Everyone's hand flew up and we all shout nose goes at the same time but I didn't make it.

"I got it, don't worry." I smile and walk over to the front desk. "Hi, I'm Katelin Jakes and the rest is..." I point to each one as I say their names. "Sarah McLane, Zander Ryler, Taylor Jakes, Jace Micheals, and Justin Jakes. We are here for our supplies."

"Of course, hun. Here is your keys and map. The building circled on the map is your dorm building and your room number is 2112 and same for Taylor and Sarah." She hand me the keys and paper before giving the boys' supplies. "Same goes for you about the map, the building circled is your dorm building and your room is 4224 for all of you."

"Thank you so much." I smile before leaving. "Next we need to unpack and get ready for tomorrow. Our first day of school, I can't wait!
