"So, we are going to get married on April first?" I ask Jace and he nods.
"I want to show you that when it comes to us, it's no joke. What's a better day to do it on than April fools day." He says waving his arms around before wrapping them around me.
"Awwww." Everyone else says and I hide my face in Jace's chest.
"Jace! We're being awed at! What are we going to do?" I say into his chest and he lifts my chin and kisses me. I melt into him and hears more awings. I pull way and softly hit him. "It didn't work."
"Yeah because whatever you do it's going to be cute. " Taylor say and everyone else nods in agreement.
"Fine." I check the time and grab my stuff. I kiss Jace before turning to leave the room. "I got to go to class see you tonight to plan to plan the wedding."
"Of course, kitten." Jace says before I leave the room.
I got a strange feeling that he is going to end up planning something extra special for our wedding. He always been the one to go above expectations. Another reason why I love him though.
I got to my class right on time and sat down in the back row, where I belong. I'm sorry just because I am kind of popular now since of the proposal and my speach doesn't mean I'm going to always be in front.
I can't focus on my assignment because I'm too busy thinking about the rest. Help.
Don't worry, we all understand the plan. You can stop talking about it now.
Do you really? Jace doesn't want her to know about this until the day.
You just focus on her dress and I'll keep my mouth shut.
What are you talking about?
Nothing!
They yell and everything goes silent and I tune back into class. "Katelin, I want you to sing these notes in the way we were learning." We were learning about grace notes which are notes that swiches to another note right away which sounds amazing, if you do it right.
I stand up and slowly make my way to the front. Everyone's eyes turn to me as I stand there in front where I didn't want to be. "What song do you want me to sing?"
"I want you to sing the song you showed me earlier." He says with a wide smile. I remember that song because I wrote it. It was an experiment with the grace notes and I really like how It turned out.
"Ok. Tell me when to stop." I take a deep breathe and close my eyes. "I don't want to be part of someone else's game. I don't want everyone to be the same. As I stand before you, waiting for an open door. I want reach for you but I know you don't want me more."
I open my eyes and jump up on my teacher's desk, lucky he cleared it off for me. I start doing my dance that I also made for it. "I'll sing for you, even if you let me go! I'll breathe for you, even if don't hold me close. Cause I know one thing, no what is happening. I'll never ever let you go! So, hold me closer. Kiss me longer. Cause you'll never have to be alone. So let this be known. oh, oh, o-oh, oh." I stop to look at everyone's faces.
They all look at me shocked and amazing and so does the teacher. He turns to me and helps me off the desk. "I see you added more to the song. Another verse and a catchy bridge and your done. Thank you for demanstrating us the beauty of grace notes and your talents."
"Of course, I love singing and making music so it's no problem. I'm just glad you like it." I smile and start walking back to my seat. Everyone starts clapping and yelling for more. They stand up and continued clapping. I look at my teacher as they chant and he joins in. "Really?" I look around and stand back up on his desk. "Ok, ok. I'll sing more so quiet down. Does anyone have any requests?"
Hands shot up and I smile. My teacher also sat down with the students and raised his hand. I guess this is an concert now.
