Crazy is Perfect

Chapter 14

"Hey, are you ready?" Taylor ask while twirling around in her dress. I check the time and it is twenty minutes before we have to leave.

"Come on, Sarah! What's the hold up?"

"I'm not coming." She replies. Taylor and me look at each and back at the door to the closest. I start to pound on the door and Taylor joins in. In less than a minute, we had the door open. "What do you mean 'you're not coming.'"

"I am going to make a fool of myself. I don't want to have him leave me." She sat down on the ground and we join her. I grab one of her hands and Taylor grabs the other one.

"He liked you since the moment you first met. I highly doubt that he will stop liking you because you are nervous. You are his other half and without you he wouldn't be complete. He is not a normal person, neither are you. You two are soul mates." I look at her and smile. "There will never be anything you can do to stop that. He loves you and you love him."

Sarah jumps up and runs out. "You're right!" Taylor runs out behind her with me following. When we all entered the living room, we all hear a knock on the door.

"I got it!" I yelled to them and run to the door. I quickly open it. "Hello-" I froze when I saw who was at the door.

"Hey, Katelin. Nice to see you again." He says with a small laugh.

"Z, what are you doing here? Where is Jace?"

We stood there for five minutes before he spoke up again. "I need to talk to you. May I come in?" I nod and he walks in taking a sit on my couch.

"What do you want?" I ask with a straight face. How dare he kidnap my best friend and then come to my house!

"I want you to do me a favor. But first I should do something." He pulls out a walky-talky and whispers quietly into it.

"What did you do?" I ask and he smiles.

"I asked for them to let Jace in." I smile and give him the biggest hug ever. I ended up on his lap but I didn't really notice that much until I try to pull away.

"Oh my gosh, thank you!" I say and then I try to move off his lap. He grabs my waist and pulls me closer to him. He leans in until he is pretty much kissing my ear. He takes the time to whisper in my ear. "I said I want a favor from you. I meant that." I wiggle my way out of his hold.

"Ok, what is it?" I move across from him and look him in the eye. He smirks and leans forward. "I want you to that dance with me."

I froze again. What the heck! He just wants something as simple as a date? I looked at him and regained myself.

"Sure." He laughs at my late reply.

"Why so late to reply? Did me asking you out scare you?" I shook my head. "No it's just I thought you wanted something worst."

I stares amused. "Like what?" I shrug. "I don't know maybe for me to kill someone or to be bait for something." He laughs again and sighs. "You know you need to stop reading those nonfiction books. I would never do that."

"Why?"

"Because why would I want to hurt the person I like?" My eyes widen again and the room becomes silent.

Help me, he likes me!

Oh, that's a bad thing?

Yes, he kidnaped my best friend.

For like a week.

J is fine.

How do you know that?

Because he just walked in.

I turn my head to see J standing there with no sign of any harm on him, in fact he looks better than ok. His hair is brushed and styled prefectly. He's not wearing his normal clothes but a leather suit and tie with shoes to match. "J!" I run to him giving him a big hug. He picks me up and spins me around. "How's my little kitten doing?"

I smile and kiss him on the cheek. "Better now that you're here." He leans in and kisses me on the cheek too.

"I missed you." He whispers. I whisper back to him. "I missed you too." After a while Justin and Sarah walks into the room. Taylor follows behind them.

"Oh my gosh, I almost forgot. It's date night tonight!" I look at Z. "Zander, if you want that date this is your chance. J, who do you want to go with?" He looks at me and Z, then smiles. "I'll go with Taylor."

Both Taylor and mine mouth drops open. "How did you-" Jace smiles and walks off saying. "You know I been your best friend for a while now. This shouldn't be surprising since you tell me everything. By the way, I didn't know they could actaully be human. That's awesome. It's a good thing you discribed them to me though."

Z stood there with Jace and Justin. I walk up to Jace and gave him a hug. "You look amazing." He smiles and replies back. "Not as amazing as you." Z grabs me and picks me up like a princess.

"Hey, what about me? Don't I look good too?" I laugh as he throws a small frown. "Of course you look good."

I look over at Taylor and pull her aside. She looked like her heart was broken. "What's wrong, you're not suppose to have emotions until after-" She smiles weakly and nods.

"He's the one."

I have an idea. I hope this will work. "Z! Can you come in here please?" I call sweetly. He quickly rush over to me waering a big grin on his face. Honestly, it's really cute. He looks little child who just got ice cream. "I know you said you wanted me to go out with you but my friend here would like to me in my place. Is that ok for tonight? I promise if things don't turn out right then we can go on that date. Deal?"

I held my hand out. For am moment, the smile fades from his face. He looks at Taylor and turns to me. The smile comes back wider than before. He takes my hand and shakes it.

"Deal."

We walk out with me first then Taylor and Z holding hands. "Well, plans changed Z is going with Taylor. I guess that means me and J are going alone." Jace jumps on a table and speaks up.

"Have no fear, my lady. For I, Jackson Micheals, am here to ask you to go to the dance with me. I promise to make this a night to remember if you go with me." He pulls out a rose and gives it to me.

"I would love to, my knight and shining leather." I laugh and he smiles. "Thanks for recognizing the awesomeness of my leather jacket." He picks me up and carries me away. "To the car, my kitten!"

I laugh as well does the others. I can already tell tonight is going to be a great night.
