Meanwhile, Siphesihle narrates her experience at home, where her mother is still upset about her fetching Iyazi late from school. She tried to avoid her mother's anger, focusing on her homework and going to bed without dinner. The next morning, Siphesihle wake up early, gets Iyazi ready for school, and drops her off at the nearby creche. She then heads to the terminus, where she meets Lungi, who teases her about being Hlaluminathi's crush. Siphesihle is taken aback, realizing that everyone knows about the incident at the park. She quickly bids Lungi farewell and continues her journey to school, putting on her headphones to block out the noise. In class, Siphesihle sits alone, completing her work. I arrived and sits next to Asiphe chatting about our secret relationship i also asked her for meet up at 7pm near my house. When the tourism teacher asks for her assignment, Siphesihle and i exchange a nervous glance, both hoping the other is done. As we submit our work, the class gazes at us with suspicious eyes, and my heart races with anxiety. During lunch, Asiphe confronts me about my relationship with Siphesihle, and i finally confesses that we are dating. Asiphe teases me about her past judgments, but i was smitten, declaring that Siphesihle is special and I've fallen for her. Asiphe congratulates me instead, warning me about the potential heartache that may come, i didn't expect that from her after that little fight we had earlier. After school, Siphesihle and i walk together, enjoying the warm sun on our skin. We chat about our day, sharing stories and laughter. As we approach the terminus, i grab her hand, feeling a sense of pride and happiness. As we wait for the taxi, Lungi approaches us, grinning mischievously. "Hey, lovebirds! How's it going?" Siphesihle blushes, while i playfully rolled my eyes. "Hey, Lungi. Just enjoying the day." Lungi nods, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "I can see that. Well, congratulations, you two. You make a cute couple." Siphesihle's face flushes with a warm smile as she thanks Lungi, her hand still nestled in mine. They exchange a tender glance, and i squeezes her hand reassuringly. As i got in the taxi i called out, "See you tonight, Siphesihle! Maybe we can grab some dinner?" Siphesihle nods, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Sounds perfect! I'll see you then." As the taxis drive away, Siphesihle can't help but feel a sense of joy and excitement. She's never felt this way about anyone before, and it's like a weight has been lifted off her shoulders. She texts Hlalu as soon as she gets home, "Hey, can't wait for tonight! What time should I meet you?" I replied "How about 6pm at the mall? We can grab dinner and catch a movie." Siphesihle agrees, and we spend the rest of the day counting down the hours until our date. When 6 pm finally arrives, Siphesihle puts on her favorite dress and heads to the mall, feeling like a princess. As she walks towards the food court, she sees Hlaluminathi waiting for her, looking beautiful and charming. We exchange a sweet kiss, and i take her hand, leading her to the restaurant. Over dinner, we talk about our dreams, aspirations, and everything in between. Siphesihle feels like she's found her soulmate, and Hlaluminathi is smitten with her intelligence and beauty. As the night draws to a close, i walks Siphesihle home, her arm around my shoulders. We stand outside her gate, reluctant to say goodbye. "I had an amazing time tonight," Siphesihle says, looking up at her with sparkling eyes. "Me too," i replied, leaning in for a soft kiss. "I'll call you tomorrow, my love." And with that, they part ways, already counting down the hours until their next day. On the following day i got out of bed, stretching my arms and yawning. I had slept well, dreaming of Siphesihle and our blossoming relationship. I quickly take a shower and dressed in my school uniform, thinking about the day ahead. As i brushed my teeth, i thought about seeing Siphesihle at school and couldn't help but feel a little nervous. I had confessed my feelings to her, and she had reciprocated. I was excited to see her and hold her hand in the corridors. I grabbed my backpack and headed downstairs, where my mom had prepared breakfast for us. We ate quickly, i couldn't stop thinking about the surprise i had planned for Siphesihle during lunch. With a smile on my face, as me and my sister headed out the door, i feel eager to start the day and see the love of my life.As we walked into school, i scanned the courtyard for Siphesihle. I spotted her by the lockers, chatting with her friends. I smiled, feeling a sense of pride and happiness. I walked up to her, my heart beating a little faster. "Hey, beautiful," i said, greeting her with a gentle kiss on the cheek.Siphesihle blushed, her friends giggling at the display of affection. "Hey, Hlaluminathi. How was your morning?" "It was great, now that I've seen you," i replied, taking her hand . We walked together to our first class, feeling like the luckiest couple in school. As we sat in class, i couldn't help but steal glances at Siphesihle, feeling grateful for our love. I knew i had to make today special, and i had a surprise planned for her at lunchtime. "As the lunch bell rang, my heart skipped a beat. I took Siphesihle's hand, leading her to the school courtyard. The sun was shining, and the air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers. I guided her to a secluded spot, where a small picnic was set up, complete with Siphesihle's favorite cuisine and a bouquet of her favorite flowers. Siphesihle's eyes widened in surprise, and she smiled up at me, her eyes sparkling with happiness. 'I just wanted to make today special,' i said, my voice was filled with emotion. And as we sat down to enjoy our picnic, i knew that this was just another moment in our blossoming love story..." Asiphe step in and disturb us " hey guys sorry to disturb you but Hlalu i want to talk to you know "! she said furiously. I already knew what's the matter, she grabbed my wrist saying " what are you doing Hlalu you promise to meet me up later on but you didn't show up, and know all over sudden you are busy with this girl" i just stared at her for minute then i replied softly " first sorry Asiphe for everything something came up i couldn't make it up to you please forgive me, you know i love you but our relationship must not affect our friendship how about we go get some fresh air today late i want to apologize probably" she hugged me tight and say " don't disappoint this time please i love you so much Hlalu, go on Sphe is waiting for you there we are done here". I smiled and turn back to Sphe we proceed our lunch date. After school transport arrived, I post about my day on social media and listen to music, feeling cheered up. I run into Qhawe at the garage and hug her, feeling like it's been ages since we last saw each other. We catch up briefly, and I promise to tell the others about her suggestion to hang out like old times. When I arrive home, I find no one there. I throw my school bag on the couch and head straight to my room to change out of my uniform. I see three missed calls from Siphesihle and a w******p message suggesting going at cinema to watch our favourite movie "Life in a year" tomorrow. I agree, feeling excited and a bit nervous about how my parents will react to our relationship. But I'm all in - Siphesihle is my ride or die. As I change into comfortable clothes, I hear the front door open, and my parents call out to me. I head downstairs, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves."Hey, Mom and Dad. How was your day?" I ask, trying to sound casual."It was good, sweetie. How about yours?" my mom replies, eyeing me curiously. I take a deep breath and decide to dive right in. "Actually, I wanted to talk to you about something. I've been spending time with Siphesihle, and we've really connected. We're just friends nothing much, am not ready yet for my fathers attitude."My parents exchange a look, and I can tell they're surprised. My dad clears his throat, and my mom speaks up. "Hlaluminathi, we love you no matter what, but we do need to talk about this. Let's sit down and discuss it as a family, okay?"I nod, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. At least they're willing to listen."Okay, Mom. I understand. But can I just say that Siphesihle is an amazing person, and I really care about her?" My mom smiles and nods. "We'll definitely take that into consideration, sweetie. Let's talk more about it at dinner tonight."I nod, feeling hopeful. Maybe this won't be as difficult as I thought.
