Guaranteed Xian didn't even know the names of the girls he... screwed, slaughtered and sucked dry. It wouldn't surprise me. "Don't look at me like that princess," He replied harshly. "I have every right to say what I said, and you can't stop me. You don't understand, and I refuse to apologise for saying something just because you disagree with it." I pressed my lips together and turned away from him, turning my stare to out the window at the weather. The sun was beginning to come up, lighting up the horizon ever so slightly, sending a light tinge of pink across the skies. "Wait a second," I murmured, turning back to the room. "Vistoc said my transformation is frozen... shouldn't that mean I can go outside in the sun?" Madame nodded. "You should be able to, I don't know why not." I smirked. "Meaning I can get a tan..." "Again, I don't see why not." Madame smiled matter-of-factly at me. Yes. Human life - 1. Vampire life - 0. "Enough about tans already!" Xian snapped. "You can't get a damn tan, you're practically albino. Madame, stop encouraging her to do things that will make her vamperic life more painful when she turns dark-" "Don't you mean if?" I interrupted, but he continued as if he hadn't heard me. "Jeez! Listen to me people! The King is alone and the chosen ones are dying out. Pretty soon, there's not going to be anymore left. There are two more girls left. If the rogues get to them, we're doomed. The whole of the vamperic race will be in their hands, and there's nothing the council can do about it. It's up to us and the council to save this damned world, and if all you can think about is tans, then I think you should pack your stuff up and head outta town, princess, because you're number three on their hit-list." Xian said angrily. "I bloody suggest we get a move on if we want to save these two girls!" We all stared at Xian as he sat there, fuming, his eyes full of rage. Nobody said anything, and not one person moved. Nothing sounded besides Xian's harsh breathing, as if he were a human whom had just run a mile without a break. Passionate about saving the life of two 'chosen ones', but so carelessly killing the rest of the population of Southampton for his own needs. "Go then!" Xian shouted. "Vistoc, you come with me - we'll go to the library at the old house. There's bound to be tons of information in those textbooks about the witches and history of the rogues." Tessa said. Vistoc nodded, and they were gone. "Madame, we need to find out some information about The King and his type. Perhaps we're headed to the Kingdom...?" Olly's voice faded. Madame nodded briskly, standing up and brushing himself off. "We need to get in touch with the council, you're right."
