The smile she held as she extended her hand for his to shake stayed permanently engraved in his memory, a night he'd always remember. The event he was supposed to be enjoying at the moment was painfully reminiscent to that point in time. The crushing blow of seeing her on the dance floor full of life, attached to someone that wasn't him made he gulp down the spicy brown liquid of his cup that would surely leave him with a headache come morning but he needed something to help escape the devastation he felt.

Not able to bare the torture he was putting himself through any longer, he pushed himself off the walk and began to engage with the crowd in the best way he could. A little two step here, some bouncing of his shoulders and bobbing of his head there, he was putting on quite the show.
