#musicvibe - Going under, Evanescence * Lizette POV His cold words tore through me and I screamed out when I felt the link to my pack shatter. I fell to my knees, gasping for air and clutching my chest. A hard kick to my stomach had me falling on my side and my vision blurred. I looked up to see Tyson standing over me. “You have twenty minutes to get off the pack territory.” He said coldly. “Or you’ll be executed.” I stared at him in shock. “What’s wrong with you, Tyson?” I whimpered. “You might not have liked me since you’ve met Valeria, but you’ve never been this cold.” We both looked up when the door opened and that woman walked inside. Who was she, anyway? “You should leave.” The woman said, and I saw a hint of a smirk on her face. “Now.” I didn’t need to be told twice, my gut feeling was screaming at me to get out of that room. I ran home as fast as I could, tears streaming down my cheeks while I hurriedly packed the most precious things I owned into a duffel bag. Then I ran towards the border, not wanting to risk running out of time. When I crossed the border, I heaved a sigh of relief and sat down by the side of the road to break down in tears. I sobbed hysterically, feeling my wolf Sophie retreating into the back of my mind. It was autumn, and I figured that it was about to get really cold, so I got up and started walking towards the nearest town, frantically sniffing the air to make sure that there weren’t any wolves around me. For the next three days, I wandered around the small towns in the nearby area, starving and exhausted. And then I got an idea. In the outskirts of London, I found a club that had a lot of good reviews. So I went to a nearby gym, showered and changed into the most sexy outfit I had managed to pack before I left and went back to the club at night when it had opened. There was a small line outside, and I waited while looking around for anyone that could give me a one night stand. I could use a hook up to get my mind off of things, and besides, they hopefully had food at their place. When I got inside, I was immediately met with a crowd swaying their bodies to the beat. The air was mixed with the smell of alcohol from the bar, sweat and a strange mix of pine and fresh cut grass. Probably someone’s perfume. Ignoring the bar, I started dancing while looking around for any guys that I found cute. They were all human, and I was really relieved about that. I wouldn’t want to get kicked out being a Rogue. The thought made a lump form in my throat, but I gulped trying to make it go away and continued dancing. I stopped in my tracks when that pine and fresh cut grass scent came over me again and Sophie woke up in my mind. “Mate!!!” She yelled. I looked up and saw a guy standing in front of me. He had short black hair and grey eyes. A white t-shirt accentuated his biceps and broad chest, making my mouth water at the sight of him. “Can I buy you a drink?” He asked. “Mate.” I whispered. * Valeria POV The door opened again and I looked up to see Celeste walk in with Tyson, Warren, the head warrior, and two guards. I was sitting in a corner, tiredly leaning my head against the wall. The wolfsbane was really getting to me and I barely had the energy to move. “I want two guards down here at all times.” Tyson ordered. “Don’t speak to her, don’t go inside the cell. Just make sure that no one comes in here and that she doesn’t find a way to escape.” “Yes Alpha.” Warren replied and glanced at me, uncertainty and pity shining in his eyes. Tyson seemed to notice it too, because he stepped closer to Warren, his aura turning dark. “I can trust you and your men with her, can I?” He asked. Warren nodded. “Of course Alpha.” He replied. “Good because you need to think about where your loyalties are.” Tyson snarled. “With the kingdom, or the person who betrayed it.” Warred cleared his throat and nodded. “It’s with the kingdom, of course.” He replied. I saw a smirk appear on Celeste’s face, before it quickly disappeared again. “Prove it.” Tyson said. Warren stared at him in confusion. “Pardon?” “Prove it.” Tyson repeated. “Cut her hair off.” Warren paled. ”W-What?” He whispered. ”You heard me.” Tyson growled. ”I don’t think that’s even allowed.” Warren said hesitantly. “Aren’t there laws for these things?” Warren’s head whipped to the side when Tyson hit him across the face with the back of his hand. “I make the laws.” Tyson growled. “And I’m telling you to cut her hair off!” Willow whimpered in my head when Tyson pushed out his Alpha aura, the command hitting Warren with full force. He bared his neck to Tyson before opening the cell door with shaking hands. He approached me hesitantly, still shivering from the command washing over him. When he crouched down next to me, I saw the pain on his face. “It’s okay.” I whispered. “Sorry, Luna.” He mouthed before his claws elongated on his hand. I closed my eyes and forced myself not to cry when I felt Warren carefully cut off my brown curls, letting them fall to the floor. Feeling my hair being cut off, I went through every trick I had ever learned to dissociate with the situation. I had to cut myself off from the pain I felt as my heart shattered. When he was done, Warren stood up, and I kept my eyes closed, too humiliated to look him in the eye. “Good.” Tyson said curtly. “Prepare the army. We have to be on high alert now.” With that he and Celeste walked out of the cell. Warren followed them, but stopped to glance at me. “I’m so sorry, Luna.” He whispered before leaving me and the two remaining guards in awkward silence.
