Three months later.....

Veronica was in bed rubbing her tummy in circles. The IUI was successful and she was 3 months pregnant.

She laid on the bed lost in her own thoughts.

She vowed to her self that she is going to give the best to her child no matter what. She was going to protect and give everything to this child of hers. She was not going to make her child feel the absence of a father even if he or she didn't have one. She will play a role of both a mother and a father.

She knew it wouldn't be an easy task but she got to give all she had. Her son or daughter will live to say that her mum is the best of best among all mothers. And will never need a dad.

Shower her child with money, attention, love, care, support and everything she could.

Her parents were always at her side no matter what. They made sure she got everything she needed through her pregnancy.

Yes, she was stigmatized by her friends at school because she was pregnant. No one wanted to side with a pregnant friend. That was such a disgrace.

Mandy was her only friend who stuck by her side each and everyday.

Her parents did their best in order for Vero to feel loved regardless her situation which helped her a lot.

Before she resolved on her decision to get a child, she prepared herself mentally for the stigmatizations, judgements and negative comments. So she played oblivious of the judgements she received. She understood the people who judged her because they were clueless of what made her end up like that exactly.

She once received a negative comment of a teenager like her who said she was going around having s*x with her parents wealthy clients and all that. She didn't want to take that to heart but she ended up crying over that. Her parents sued the teenager who passed the comment and the teenager was fined three thousand dollars.

Vero told her parents that it wasn't necessary for them to do that but they insisted. Her parents wanted their radical reaction to such comments to deter others from saying the same stupid comments.

Veronica could only keep silent for her parents to do whatever they wanted.

Besides, they had a point.
