Avery Matt and his friends are so ergh. I wish he’d just let me live my life he’s just way to overprotective and I’m f*****g sick off it he’s seventeen the should be meeting girls of his own age instead of baby sitting me. He leaves this year and to be honest I can’t wait. I’m sixteen in a few months and I want to be a normal sixteen year old girl with friends and a boyfriend. I don’t want to stay a virgin forever. I know Matt isn’t one cause I walked in in him once a few years ago, god that was f*****g embarrassing, yet he won’t let any guy near me or touch me. His friends are no different; they all try their best to put boys off of me. They usually run once they are given the third degree. Why can’t these guys just leave me alone?! “Avery, it’s time to go.” “Ergh.” I groan god I hate f*****g Monday’s. I roll out of bed going into the bathroom to refresh. I then went back to my room to dress into my school uniform. A blue shirt and black trousers accompanied with a black tie with four stripes and the school crest on it. Yes I’m in year ten whilst Matt is in the upper sixth, why couldn’t he just have gone to college? So I could be free of his constant protectiveness. I wish his friends were there too because to be honest they are no better than him. “Come on Avery we haven’t got all f*****g day!!” He shouts. “Take a chill pill Matt I’ll be down in five.” ‘Asshole.’ I brush my hair by putting my blazer on, walking out of my room going down stairs. “About time.” “Yeah yeah.” “Your sister’s got the cheeky, sassy, sexy on her again Matt.” “Don’t make her worse Noah.” He smiled, winking at me. Urgh he's so Ergh two play at his game. I smiled, winking back, i***t. I grabbed my bag and a few pieces of toast before we head out. ‘Tash called, said her, Sussie and Carine would meet you school seen as your running late, again.’ I nodded. He closed and locked the door behind us. Noah took it upon himself to drop his arm over my shoulders, when will this guy ever take the hint I’m not interested. I look dead at him. “What’s the matter princess?” I eyed his arm. He didn’t budge. “Do you mind?” “No I don’t actually, do you princess?” “Yes I do actually.” “Shame.” He edged closer. “Maybe we can do something later.” “Maybe we can’t.” He chuckled. “Leave my sister alone Noah, she doesn’t want your d**k anywhere near her.” “She might.” “I don’t actually, so if you don’t mind you're in my personal space.” “Let go of her Noah.” “Do you want me to let go of you princess?” “Yes I do, so can you please remove your arm.” “Your friends are waiting.” Noah’s arm falls off my shoulders. I kiss Matt on the cheek and say goodbye. “Hey where’s mine?” “Up your ass.” Matt and the others laughed, leaving Noah stumped. I jog over to my friends, hugging them. “I see Mr. Overprotective hasn’t changed over the summer.” “No, he’s gotten worse.” “What’s with you and Noah, are you?” “No we are not so get your head out of the clouds or we’ll be late.” Tash, Sussie, Carine and I walked into school. “So gossip.” “There aren't any.” “Sure there isn’t.” “There isn’t.” “And you and Noah?” “What about us? there is no me and Noah, he's just being Noah.” “You’ve always liked him.” I laughed out loud. “I’ve never liked him. His hair a light blond colour with hints of blue, his eyes a sea green colour, he was tall and muscular my jaw almost dropped to the ground. “Avery earth to Avery.” I stood paralysed. I couldn't talk. My friends noticed it to just hope Matt didn’t or he’d be on the guys case. “Avery, are you okay?” I veered my eyes at the hot looking guy that had just entered the school grounds they all looked up. “OMG WTF.” “God he’s hot. Who do you think he is?” “He looks new.” “He’s going to break some hearts round here.” “Maybe we should introduce our selves.” I finally snapped out of my unconscious mind. “Oh no no let him introduce himself.” Noah looked at Matt and nodded. He looked over at the new face he looked as old as Avery. Matt’s eyes slit as he watched him. He also noticed that Avery and her friends were looking at this dude too. His anger grew. “See it out Matt it might not be anything.” “And it might be.” “We’ll keep tabs on him.” The guy looked over at Avery and her friends smiling and winking at them as he passed them, which made them all hot and bothered. God this guy was good almost as good as him and his friends, he didn’t need a bad boy chasing his little sister. Noah was bad enough, he’d told him to let go of her, but his words seemed to have very little effect or none at all. Noah was determined that she would eventually change her mind about him which Matt very much doubted. She knew him inside out as they’d all grown up together and he was more of a man w***e than he was. They’d all in all slept with over twenty girls from their school and he definitely didn’t want Avery to be another notch on Noah’s bedpost. The bell rang and they all headed in. At registration Avery and her friends got their new time table and headed to the lesson. They all sat at the back, he walked into the room and the whole class looked up, even the guys to see the unfamiliar face enter the room. He looked over to the corner of the room spotting them walking over. “He’s coming over.” “No he’s..” I looked up he was so coming over, oh s**t. “Hi my name’s Rylan Benson. I’m kinda new here. I was wondering if I could sit with you guys and maybe hang out with you.” “Sure.” I said, gesturing him to take a seat. My friends looked flustered. “I’m Avery and these are my friends Tash, Sussie and Carine.” “Nice to meet you ladies.” They giggled. He smiled laughing. “So..” I paused. “What made you come here?” “My parents both got new jobs so I had to move here from the city.” I nodded, the others just looked fascinated at him. “Good morning class we have a new student joining us today Rylan Benson. As I can see he’s here and on time excellent. Let's begin.” Apparently Rylan had already been introduced to all of our teachers and he went to the boring details yawning. We had to laugh at him. After the lesson it was just me and Rylan for our next lesson before break. He sat next to me. I was nervous as hell, he was so hot and his eyes were just to die for. But, I composed myself and got on with the lesson. The bell rang for break, that’s when he caught me off guard. He pushed his lips onto mine. I stumbled back, hitting the wall. As he kissed me slipping his tongue in, what the hell was going on? I chose to respond, not too sure if it was the right thing to do. He finally moved away smiling. “Can we hang the weekend, just you and me?” “I... I guess.” He smiled. “We’ll talk more about it Friday. I bet your friends are waiting for you.” “They’re your friends too.” I reminded him. “So they are, come on.” We walked through the corridors and went outside to meet them for break after break me and the girls had another lesson together but Rylan wasn’t in our class so I asked him to wait for us after the lesson so we could go to lunch together. We met for lunch and to be honest it was like we’d all known each other longer than just a couple of hours. We were laughing as he was cracking jokes. Matt and his friends stood outside watching as Avery and her friends walked out from the dining hall with the new guy laughing. “Just hold back Matt, give it time.” He grunted, he knew Noah was right he just had to wait it out. Once lunch was over they went back in for registration and their final two lessons.
