Aylas pov

i have been here for a few days and i am really enjoying my self but i am really missing Joe and his stubborn ways 

deep down i know that he did not mean to hurt me and i know that it was all a accident and that his anger some how got the best of him and i cant let that happen again he could of seriously hurt our pups and my self and i cant chance that 

Joe is getting the help he needs and he is currently figuring out how to control his new power.. he is now very possesive over me and the pups due to me being pregnant and he didnt mean to harm us but he snapped when i talked the way i did he felt like i didnt care to protect our pups but thats not true i love our pups very much so and i want to protect them 

i hate that he is keeping me in the dark about everything

Dalton has been trying to get very close to me and i am uncertain if i am okay with the way he has been with me its almost as if he likes me and is trying to get me to like him as well

Knock Knock i hear at my hotel room 

one moment please- i shout as i get up off the bed and head to the door to open it up

as i open the door i see that Dalton is at the door and he has a weird smile on his face

*what can i help you with*i say 

*you okay Ayla? i havent seen much of you lately,* he asks

*yes i am fine, just been relaxing*i say as i shut the door

but Dalton puts his foot in the door and stops me from opening it 

*now now Ayla i know you want me to come in.* he says as he pushes his way into my room

*no please leave my room* i say as i back away

i wont lie i am very scared Dalton is stalking to me and i am uncertain as to what he plans on doing and i dont like this at all

*please leave Dalton!*i shout but its of no use he just keeps coming towards me and doesnt say much to me just has a weird smirk on his face.

Joe's pov

i am within miles of meeting Ayla it wont be long until her and my pups are in my arms once again

*alpha 2 mins until we are at the park* my guard fred states 

i wont lie i am very excited to see my mate and to kiss her 

suddenly we arrive today feels like an off day and something doesnt feel right at all

i stand and wait for Ayla she was supposed to be here 25 mins ago and she is not answering my calls or texts 

i look to see all the hotels in the area and there is only 1 hotel and 3 bed and breakfast i head to the hotel because Ayla said she was in a hotel staying currently 

i walk up to the front desk and catch her scent and start to follow it and it leads me to a door that is slightly open and i walk in it very slowly and the sight i see makes me lose control

*GET OFF OF HER NOW!!!* i shout 

there is a man pushing his self onto Ayla as she is crying and clearly not wanting anything that is going on

he looks at me and gives me a smirk and i lose it i walk over to him and i grip him and pull him off of Ayla 

i slam him against the wall by his throat and i start to squeeze and i dont let up 

*you ever put your hands forcefully onto my mate and pups again i will kill you with my bare hands* i say as i hit him and throw him across the room 

Ayla is in tears and i race to her side to comfort her and to check and make sure she is alright

i order my men to guard the door while i hold a crying Ayla

i sure hope he didnt hurt her but i am to worried to ask because she is fragile right now so i will let her to tell me 

i just hold her tightly in my arms kissing her 

i keep on telling her how sorry i am for not getting there sooner to stop him faster 

Aylas pov

Joe saved me from being raped by DAlton

i thought Dalton was my friend but man i was so wrong 

he tried to force him self onto me and he was kissing his nasty lips on me and i did not like it 

i am so thankful that Joe found me and saved me before anything happened 

i curl into his arms and i feel safe but i am not only crying due to the event that almost happened but i am also crying because i have missed Joe so much and i have missed his warm comforting embrace 

*joe thank you for saving me and thank you for not asking questions i will tell you all you need to know very soon but right now is not the right times* i say and he just smiles and kisses my head gently 

i soon fall asleep in his arms 

Joes pov

Ayla soon falls asleep in my arms and hold her tight before i gently lay her on me and we both go to sleep 

the next morning i am woke up by Ayla pulling her self off of me and it startles me 

but i soon realize that she is heading for the shower 

she took clean clothes with her and her brush 

i let her get  a shower i just patiently wait for her 

she comes out and explains to me that Dalton quickly became a friend to her and at first she thought it was all innocent but then he started to be weird and then he forced his self on her and i became enraged but i held it together well

i just told her that it will all be alright and i know she didnt mean any harm by befriending him
