Chapter 3
Most of our outings while living in Paris, were full of wonderment and joy. We often commented that we had become star crossed lovers living in an exotic circus. Every day we would encounter a new ring master and all the performances were over the top! The kaleidoscope of events was never ending.
Dmitry scheduled a meeting with me after he received his first payment to review the theme of his novel. My cup of tea was waiting for me just like the previous time we met. He looked excited as I approached the table he had selected and said, “You look so very beautiful today. My ideas about my new novel are getting more clear for you to hear.”
With a warm smile I responded, “I am anxious to hear the theme you have developed; please lay it out for me.”
