The Blood Red Moon (The Phoenix Wolf)

Chapter 3

Tekoda pov

When my brother Chief Calian commanded me and some of our best trackers to go into the sacred forest where the moon goddess once resided to look for some red, she-wolf that saved him 8 years ago I thought he was crazy. Even on the day when we thought he was lost to us he returned to the pack muttering about a fiery she-wolf that saved him. What made the story so crazy was that the wolf wasn't full grown it was a child and ever since then he has been searching for her. But the little did I know that she would be standing right in front of me yet alone f*****g real and that my brother wasn't making this up. When I saw her, she was so beautiful I have to admit long jet-black semi straight/wavy hair, golden eyes that could pierce your soul, full thick lips, a body built better than our best warriors, and light golden-brown skin that was so flawless it was damn near perfect.

But before I could know for sure it was truly her, we got into wolf form and slowly creeped up to her, but she already knew we were there before we even finished shifting. As we were coming out of the woods to get closer, she did something to us that I thought was an impossible task for someone that wasn't an Alpha. She commanded us to shift out of our wolf form at first it didn't register in our brains for we were in a state of shock. But when she commanded it again but in a tone that was more powerful than an alpha command, we had no choice but to do as she said which put me and my men in a state of confusion. Because we wondered who this girl is and how was she able to get us to do as she commanded with such power that we never felt before. No matter what power she has I'm a f*****g Beta of the White Spirit Pack with alpha blood running in my veins no will put fear in me and if they do, I will never show it inside or out. I knew she was strong, and I have to have my guard up.

"How did you command us to shift when you are not my Alpha and two, I'm a high-ranking wolf? I asked her.

She responds with a "Don't judge a book by its cover" and before I could ask another question it was like she knew what I was going to ask because she answered before I could even ask with a "I am no rogue if that's your next question?

"Now why are you in my territory?" She asked

I'm not going to lie when asked what we were doing in her territory I was shocked and confused because everyone knows that this territory belonged to the moon goddess, and it was free to roam around even rogues that weren't evil/feral. So, for her to claim this to be hers I scoffed.

She stepped closer to me and the next thing I knew she grabbed me by my throat with her claws out digging deep into my neck which was giving me this extreme burning feeling like I was being set on fire. I had no choice but to give in. "Ok! Ok! I'll talk! "Just put me down! I yelled. And she did after throwing me into the tree on the right.

I could feel the air leave my body with such force that it was hard to regain it back so I could breathe. This b***h is strong dare I say might be stronger than my brother. She re-asked the question again and this time she wasn't nice about it.

"My name is Tekoda I'm the Beta of the White Spirit Pack" I said. She took a step back like what I said resonated with her.

"Do you know Calian by any chance?" She asked. I was shocked how does she know my brother?

"How do you know my Older brother?" I asked with suspicion in my tone.

When she explained that she was the little wolf that saved my brother I couldn't believe it my brother was telling the truth. Don't get me wrong my brother has never been a liar but still I'm just like wow.

Once she confirmed that she was Cholena the red wolf that saved my brother we had to bring her back. After I stood up and gather myself, I had to persuade her to come back.

"Can we bring you to him?" I asked. She just looked at me for a second. And said "ok, but any funny business and I will rain down the fire pits of hell on your pack, got it" she warned all I could do was nodded because deep down I have this feeling that she would do it and succeed.

Calian POV

When my brother Tekoda mind-linked me that they think they found the girl and that they are on their way my heart began to flutter at seeing her again. I couldn’t get her out of my mind after all these years. Sometimes I thought that it might be a sign that she’s, my mate. Damn I hope so because she is fierce, beautiful even though we were just kids I still admire the way she looked. Then her wolf was so beautifully unique and my wolf purrs at just the thought of it. As I was finishing up some pack business my brother mind-linked me.

“Calian we made it back where do you want us to meet me at?” he asked.

“Meet me in the conference room I’ll be right down in a second” I responded

“Alright see you soon bro” then he closed the link.

Everyone thought that imagine the whole thing up out of fear or I possibly hit my head and I was just seeing things. But how can you imagine being attacked by rogues and then saved and then was able to find your way back through a forest you never been in before? I just shrugged them off and didn’t give a damn what they were saying I know what I saw and experienced and she was real.

As I am walking down to finally see Cholena again, I got hit with this amazing smell of cinnamon and apple fritters. Kiba is in my head jumping around yelling “MATE!” all I can do is just follow the smell to my possible mate and hope its cholena. When I followed the smell to the conference room my heart skipped a beat, I knew my mate was just behind these doors. I opened to see the most beautiful she-wolf I have ever seen in my life. She had beautiful long semi straight/wavy jet-black hair, silky smooth light golden-brown skin, gold fiery eyes that could pierce your soul, and her body to die for.

When she turned around and our eyes locked, I knew she could feel the mate bond between us.

Cholena POV

When my eyes locked with Calian my heart fluttered to the point, I thought it was going to fly out of my chest. Phoenix was purring in head yelling “MATE!”. I can’t believe that Calian the little boy I saved years ago is now my mate. But now he isn’t a boy anymore, he has that same long straight black hair with half of it shaved off, and beautiful brown eyes, but the other part of him has grown up. Sweet moon goddess I can feel myself getting those thought of him that will make you wet like a flood.

“Cholena?” he asked with hope in his eyes that it’s me.

“Hey kid, I mean Calian” I said with a smirk.

He rushed over to me and hugged me with such longing then he cradled my face and he looked into my eyes and gave me a soft loving kiss. Oh my gosh I just had my first kiss.
