Chapter 62 - Holding The Wall
When the first scream echoed over the wall, Jaden looked around, his eyes landing on one of his archers that was pinned to the ground, using his bow to fight off a demon twice his size. The wood snapped, and the man raised his hands to protect himself, shouting for help. Before anyone could come to his aid, the creature caught him with its pincers, tearing him in half with terrifying ease. More soldiers rushed to surround the demon, stepping over the convulsing body of their comrade. The monster hissed, its maw full with needle-like teeth opening threateningly. Working together, they pinned the creature between the wall and their blades, one of them piercing its lower abdomen with his spear. The soldier delayed his retreat too long, so the demon swung with its pincer, sending him flying
