Chapter 17
Terrell
Terrell let out a savage roar as Ava’s car pulled out of sight. He knew he shouldn’t have let her go. He needed to comfort her and give her all of the words he had been holding in since he met her. Instead the rage burning inside of him won out and he felt consumed by it. The need to tear flesh from bone was ingrained in his DNA, and it was forcing itself out.
The rest of his pack rushed to his side at the sound of his roar. He tried to settle himself with deep breaths, but nothing was helping him. The anger was so great he wasn’t sure if he could even speak.
“Terrell,” Joe said with trepidation.
