Seeking assistance from Gabriel seemed impossible for me but I had to gather up my courage since I needed the assistance badly.
I hurriedly ate from the rice and sausage I had made and covered the remaining.
Afterwards, I said a little prayer and left the kitchen to meet Gabriel.
When I got to the parlor, I didn't see Gabriel. Instead, I saw Johnson climbing down the staircase so I asked him about Gabriel's whereabouts.
" Please do you know where Gabriel is?" I said.
Johnson replied saying " Mr. Gabriel is in his bedroom. That's where he likes to stay every time. Hope no problem?"
" No, not all. I'm just curious to know" I replied with a smile even though I was aiming for something else.
After I confirmed that Johnson had returned to his post, I climbed the stairs and tried to locate Gabriel’s room. As soon as I got upstairs, I heard him shouting and that made me know that he was on another call.
I bang loudly on his door and interrupted the conversation he was having.
“Come in Johnson!” he said thinking that it was the security.
On hearing what he said, I wanted to inform him that it was me but I decided to make him know through my appearance, so I walked in.
“And what are you doing here?”he yelled as he stood up from a couch with a cigarette in his left hand.
“ Execute him and don’t call me again, Unless it’s very important”he said to the person on the phone and faced me, “Back to you. What can I do for you?” .
I examined the room and from my observation, I could tell that he might belong to a bad group.
The room had images of guns, wild tattoos and some strange symbols.
"Please, I would like to discuss something important with you." I calmly said.
"I don't have that time. Now Get Out!"he yelled as usual.
"Please! Your brother, Kelvin, said I should discuss the issue with you and that you'll help", I reprimanded while I went deeper into the room.
After hearing Kelvin's name he became gentle and calm.
"Kelvin? I hope everything is fine with him?"he said as he came closer to me.
"Yes, Kelvin is okay. Please I need money for my mother's surgery bill."I asked.
"What makes you think I would help you?" Gabriel altered.
"I don't know. Maybe because it's about saving a life?" I responded looking straight into his eyes.
"Life? Didn't you hear my last statement to the guy I was on the phone with?"he questioned and I responded by swinging my head left to the right. "But I do care about the lives of my loved ones," he added.
"Please!" I pleaded as I went on my knees, tears slowly coming out of my eyes. " Mom is the only one I have and I don't want to lose her".
"Seems like you truly need my help. I'm willing to assist but we'll need to make a deal" Gabriel said with a smirk.
"What deal? I'm willing to do anything for my Mother".
Gabriel came closer to me, his gaze intense as he walked around me to see my back view. "Anything, right?" he murmured, his voice sending shivers down my spine. "I want your captivating body. I want to hold you in my arms, to feel the warmth of your skin against mine as we lay intertwined on my bed, lost in each other's embrace."
"What?" I yelled and took a step backwards.
"Yes. I have what you need and you also have what it takes to get it from me" he said while scanning me from head to toes and tried to come closer.
Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine myself facing such a morally challenging crossroads, where the path to my desires seemed intertwined with the intimacy I must share with a man.
"Please, share more details about this agreement," I murmured, resigning myself to my circumstances.
"That's more like it. Please sit" Gabriel said, trying to act gentle and nice.
I noticed that he has a heart of love for women. The way the reaction on his face changed, the tone of the voice and his attitude.
Gabriel told me all sorts of things while I sat and enjoyed listening to them.
"First of all, let me give a brief introduction about myself. My name is Gabriel Darms, step brother to Kelvin and heir to the Darms family. Kelvin and I have been great companions since 10 years ago, when his mother met my dad".
I didn't believe I was already flowing into a conversation with him, even to the extent of wanting to know more, "I've always been curious about people's work lives. What does a typical day look like for you?".
"I'm a businessman, that's all I can say. Deal with all kinds of business and if anyone tries to come in my way, I deal with them badly" Gabriel declared.
"Back to the deal. You'll be the one satisfying my inner pleasure, fulfilling my s****l desires and most likely you may become my girlfriend or wife. Lastly, If you act according to my satisfaction I promise you'll enjoy me" Gabriel concluded.
I listened attentively to what he said and was desperate to get the money as soon as possible. "Okay. First question, what if Kelvin finds out and lastly when would I get the money"I questioned.
"Kelvin, my guy. Leave that to me and trust me he will never find out. Also, you'll receive the money before 12pm Wednesday, tomorrow. That's if you start tonight".
At this moment, things began to look hard for me. I couldn't let a stranger take my virginity because of a stupid deal that won't last forever but I also didn't want my mother to lose my mother.
I burst into tears and ran out of Gabriel's room. He tried to stop me but I didn't give him a chance.
I went downstairs, located an empty room and locked the door on myself, "Why is life so unfair? Some are rich while some are not?" I said while I cried bitterly.
"Dad, wherever you are, you didn't do a great job. You left me and Mom to suffer. I hope to crosspath with you one day and tell you How much I hate you!!!".
Depression overwhelmed me and I became very bittered.
"Perhaps it was time to get the money the difficult way" I said while I picked up my phone to dial a number.
