Jason had excitement in his eyes. He must have been waiting for a moment like this his entire life.
His pack is always preparing for action, but they rarely see any. Wolves are a lot more like humans than one might think. Our lives are mostly uneventful. It's not like we're constantly battling each other over territory and stuff like that. We prefer to settle our differences in a more civalised manner.
I can't help laughing at him a little. Jason is as good a guy as you can get and you can't ask for a better Alpha, but I have to admit that his views of the world are a little far fetched.
