Shaun's POV.
It's been two days since Emma woke up in the hospital. She was only awake for a few seconds before she slipped back into unconsciousness.
Dr. Jones informed my father and I that Emma could come home. There was nothing more to be done for her at the hospital. He felt that being in her own, familiar surroundings might even help to speed up the rest of the healing process.
She's been in bed ever since then, slipping in and out of consciousness, barely aware of her surroundings.
Almost all of her external wounds have healed. She looked her gorgeous self again. The healing that needed to continue was on the inside. The Wolfsbaine had really torn her insides up.
My father has been doting over her ever since she came back home, only leaving her side when he had no other choice.
