Chapter 71: Revival

"[Heal]" Nyx then muttered and put his left hand towards Zira and let the mysterious green mana invade Zira's body and her charcoaled skin healed at an astonishing speed and her heavy breathing started to calm down

Seeing this Nyx felt hope and once put away the Spirit capturing pagoda back to his space ring that he got from the Four Mystical Island and wiped his tears and started to smile seeing Zira's injuries healed faster due to her acupoints being all opened.

"This is working... I... I hope this really do work..!" I hoped this healing spell work like the Law of life that can give life to another people if needed and Nyx wasn't so good at that law and can only rely on the healing spell he has.

"...Nyx... you know healing magic..? Only people selected by god or those who have received their blessings can use one... so this is what Helbert meant when he said you were very talented... hehe, it seems my son really is one and our suspicion is correct the goddess himself choose you... Nyx" My mom smiled at me as her face started to heal and her gorgeous look were back once again I smiled back bitterly.

"Mama... I don't want to lose you..." I tried to cling to this small hope but I can feel it, my mom's life force is slowly dissipating from her body at a fast speed.

"Zira..." Terran finally arrived and saw a giant crater and felt a warm and gentle mana

And saw Nyx use healing magic, and saw Zira lying weakly on the bottom of the hole as Nyx cried Terran saw Zira's condition, one look and he knows that it's impossible to heal this

Undead mana can corrode one's flesh and this giant explosion was made by some strong undead and seeing Zira's pitiful state Terran knew Zira was about to die without a Holy tier magic it's impossible to try and heal Zira and save her life.

Terran skidded along the crater and touch Nyx's head and saw him trying to use healing magic on Zira he can only bite his lips and have a small hope that Nyx can heal Zira.

"Terran... *sob*" Zira started crying as he saw Terran standing and tears started to fall from Terran's eyes.

Terran wanted to stay strong and make Nyx feel that he can rely on him and to make Zira feel at ease

But he failed he cried and hugged Nyx with Zira with his huge arms he cried and shouted.

"god..! why did you have to do this to me..!" Terran shouted at the sky staring at the bright sun.

"Terran... please... take care of Nyx for me... please promise me... if you fall in love with another woman... I'll hunt you two forever..!" Zira tried to joke but ended up coughing blood.

Nyx after seeing this stopped healing Zira and hugged her as he cried his snot and tears mixed up he shouted at the top of his lungs.

'I gor knowledge... but so what my mother will still die and I'm not sure if I can revive her, this is not the ten thousand immortal worlds I failed... I failed as a son I ended up killing my own mother twice..! What am I so proud of if in the end I can't even save my mother... But I promise...'

Nyx then summoned out the Spirit capturing pagoda and threw it in the air as he used his divine sense to activate all the spirit array the Spirit capturing pagoda has in order to take and seal Zira's soul in the Spirit capturing pagoda

As Nyx threw the mysterious pagoda in the air it quickly expanded and became a giant tall tower Terran was taken aback as he saw this phenomenon happened he doesn't know what Nyx was about to do he was still in a shock when he felt Nyx's killing intent.

"W-what in the world..." Terran stuttered as he slowly back away to look at the complete building.

Nyx then formed a pattern with his hand seal and activated the Spirit capturing pagoda the small looking pagoda was now floating in the air steadily with it's black roof tiles and the mysterious black wood it radiated a mysterious glow and power it was the power to steal and seal a soul

Then then used every last bit of his mana that he has to use the Spirit sealing chains in order to take Zira's soul and not be reincarnated in the cycle of reincarnation and would still have a chance to be brought back to life.

A heavy sound of chains rung in the air as the Spirit capturing pagoda started to glow and spirit arrays started to emerge from it's sides and a eerie golden chains started flew one by one to the the ground where Zira was currently lying.

"Wha... what are those..?!" Terran guarded and used his earth element to make an earth wall but the eerie chains just went through the earth wall and was shock he didn't know what to do in this situation, his wife was killed and now this thing appeared.

"Father... worry not, it is not a malicious thing it can help mother be revive this thing can seal a soul and physical mortal spells will not work on something with this caliber trust me father we can save mama..." I then closed my eyes as I used my divine sense and mana I floated in the air and for a second that mysterious black figure showed up again and as if it was helping me the soul sealing chains started to enveloped my mother's body

The soul sealing chains then started to lock up and took my mother's soul at first mother's soul had the same shape as her body but as the golden chains took out my mother's soul it transformed to a small floating flame

It was normal as a normal mortals soul would not be able to bear the world pressure with their delicate soul as the normal thing would happen was their soul would enter the cycle of reincarnation after one day if not their soul would wander as either a vengeful spirit or an evil spirit but with the Spirit capturing pagoda Nyx can preserve Zira's soul and potentially revive her in the future but with doing so the heavens would stop this as it was not a mortals thing to defy the cycle of reincarnation.

"Zira..? Nyx..." Terran felt Zira's aura as the mysterious golden chains slowly came back to the Black pagoda.

"Father... rest well, we'll need to get stronger in order to revive mama... and for that my master can help us" I then used this excuse to help me convince my father.

"W-what..? how is that even possible! Zira... no your mother just died and your making jokes like this! Nyx come to you sense in life things like this... always happens-"

Terran slapped Nyx as he was sad for Zira's death and wasn't in his right mind.

Nyx didn't look at his father as his cheeks had a red mark when Terran slapped him, he let his father be as his prescious wife was just killed and Nyx knew better than anyone what it feels to lose someone.

"I'm gonna go back and meet my master... follow me if you want, father" I then jumped out of the crater as I took the Spirit capturing pagoda back to my hand and put it away in my space ring.

Terran was mesmerized by this phenomenon a building that can seal a persons soul, and it can become bigger or smaller if one needs to he felt like he didn't knew Nyx anymore.

After a moment of silence and thinking Terran carefully took Zira's body in his arms as he cried and kissed her lips, he wanted to believe in the small hope Nyx said to him.

The weird looking zombies also followed behind Nyx and Terran didn't think too much about it as they weren't hostile to him or to Nyx.

Meanwhile Nyx was just forcefully stopping his emotions he cried silently as he took out the Spirit capturing pagoda he used his divine sense to enter the pagoda and saw a floating soul this time Zira had her facial features and everything she was sleeping soundly as the Spirit capturing pagoda was nourishing her soul with it's abundant soul power Nyx only put Zira on the second floor and it's pressure and soul power density was bearable for Zira's soul and is nourishing it every second and by the time Zira gents revive she might also gain a perception on divine sense or if she is lucky she'll have a divine sense.

"Mother... wait for me, after I get to the Nirvana cultivation realm I can easily revive you and create a body for you and for that I need to get stronger much faster..!" Nyx caresses her mother's head with his soul body.

As Nyx rushed in the forest Terran almost can't sense Nyx's location anymore with his magic but he knew where Nyx went and just followed behind after three minutes Nyx reached the plateau and saw Paul and the others.

"Hey Nyx-" Paul shouted as he saw Nyx was back when he suddenly left them be in the plateau but Nyx didn't stop.

"Where is young master heading..?" Helbert asked.

"I don't know... something might have happened" Paul said.

The forest elves and dark elves were also curious as well as the other beast man.

They ran across the forest in the plateau and wanted to ask Nyx but they only saw his silhouette leaped across the giant pine trees with tree houses and closing to the giant plateau Paul was very curious what Nyx was doing and suddenly saw Nyx jumped and dissappeared from Paul's vision.

"Where is he..?" Paul asked as they run along the forest in the sunken ground of the plateau.

"He has already reached the top of the Plateau..." Helbert said.

"What..?! How is that possible not even you sir Helbert can do that..!" Paul said in astonishment.

"Yeah..." Helbert replied.

'I also can't believe it... but that just show's why young master is chosen by a god his talent is immeasurable I'm afraid this matter is not simple... could it be?!'

Helbert halted and also stopped Paul and the others.

"Let's wait here, sir Terran might also come and we can ask what happened" Helbert said.

"Really..? how would you know that..?" Paul asked.

"In the first place young master wanted to rescue his father and mother but we don't see them here... something might have happened and it's best to leave young master Nyx alone for now and talk to sir Terran and ma'am Zira" Helbert suggested to them and the elves nodded as well as the other beast man and Paul.

Meanwhile Terran was still on his way, he was holding Zira's dead body carefully that he didn't want to go too fast but now he can't sense Nyx's presence.

"How far did Nyx just go..? I can't even sense his presence now... that kid he is getting stronger and stronger by the time I don't realise it" Terran smiled and looked at Zira.

'Zira honey... it looks like our son is really like you, a strong independent woman they grew up too fast... and Nyx is only about a year old but because of a god's blessings haiz... I guess I just have to accept it'

Terran ran straight to were he last felt Nyx's presence it was about a kilometer away from him but the tree's made it so he didn't even see Nyx.

While Terran was holding Zira's dead body he finally saw a small opening but didn't expected that four kilometers away from Grannar village there was such a scene, a sunken ground that was three to four hundred meters down and in the center there was a gigantic Plateau there was even a small river pouring down from the Plateau and the seemingly tall pine trees that reached about a hundred meters and some even having tree houses.

Terran halted and skidded along the cliff created by the sunken ground as he saw this beautiful scenery.

"Just... just what is this place that Nyx has brought me..?" Terran was mesmerized by the sheer beauty of this place and forgot for a moment that he needs to meet with this mysterious master of Nyx.

Terran had no idea how to get down but after thinking for a few minutes he finally decided to leap down from the three hundred meters tall cliff any sane man would not do this.

"I hope this works..." Terran jumped and used his earth element to make a platform made out of stone from the cliff face.

Terran instantly regretted his decision when the stone plat form he made started to slowly crumble as he didn't know how to make in the first place and it was his first time Terran jumped from the stone platform and made another one but this time he made it only a meter wide and much thicker than the other one

This time it stayed still and didn't break after knowing this Terran wiped the cold sweats he had and hold Zira much tightly than before and jumped Terran did this for a minute or two then got the hold of it.
