Chapter 70.5: A real god on earth

"Bring me to that Chieftain of yours and tell him I need the treasures I hid here a long time ago!" I dragged the tribe leader from his ears as I scolded him for not knowing his own ancestor.

"S...sorry... I...I afraid... that... that I can't..." The tribe leader with a bald head and a well built body with a dark skin said in a trembling tone as he tried to resist Nyx's grip, but no matter what he holds on to it got ripped apart even a tree that he managed to hold on.

Nyx made a loud ruckus as he dragged the tribe leader as Nyx used his divine sense and felt a strong life force coming from deeper in the forest with larger trees, and Nyx was on the Tiger shaped Island.

'This place has completely transformed... back then it only had some trees and vegetations but now it has jungles and different terrains, I guess time do change everything... and I can feel it they have gathered soul treasures here and I can feel my soul imprint on some of them some got damage or had gained their own consciousness or got a new owner... well I guess this is to be expected'

The tribe leader started to cry as he saw some familiar trees and felt the presence of their Chieftain, Nyx wanted to get the Spirit capturing pagoda to preserve his mother's soul and even make it stronger and make a new body for her but it seems he got to get it the hard way.

After a few minutes of twist and turns Nyx got mad and knew that the tribe leader is leading him in circles, Nyx wanted to get their faster but he didn't wanted to surprise the tribe member in how he had known where their tribe was there was even a an array that was erected for hiding their whole tribe

He wanted them to lower their guard and not give them any motive to make things even harder for him.

'It would be great if I can just say that, hey I made you guys back then with my blood essence and I'm your great great great great ancestor. Nice to meet you all, all I want is a spirit treasure...'

"Heh..! Like that would work, whatever since I'm already here I'm just gonna have to beat up their asses and teach them some lessons they will never forget!" I then rushed as I took the tribe leader to my right shoulder as I dashed along the jungle fill with traps and venomous creatures and plants.

A giant frog tried to sneak attack Nyx but Nyx has already detected it's presence long before it attacked and punched it with ease the green frog was knocked out and Nyx had an idea if he wanted to impress the tribe he needs a strong beast in order to impress them and a level three Jadeite skin frog was a good choice it has a tough defense and a strong vitality and it's special ability, it's spiritual attack croak a sonic wave attack that has a spirit power that can easily kill a Sky rendering realm cultivator if he or she was hit by it directly then his soul would be greatly injured and his body would burst into a b****y pulp.

"Haha... what a rare find, I should put a beast taming seal in this one and also I have learned the slave seal rune in this world and made a new type of seal maybe this will work better with taming demonic and magical beast in the future... and for that I just have the best specimen..." I then used my mana to form a magic circle and formed a rune in my arm and slapped the forehead of the Jadeite skin frog as it trembled in fear after I knock it out for a couple of minutes.

The Jadeite skin frog was only been living for fifty years and it has only attack lower level beast for a living and even sometimes helping the tribe members for their mutual benefit the Jadeite skin frog will help them guard their tribe and the tribe will also do their best to help the Jadeite skin frog

As it only saw Nyx dragged a familiar tribe member and it was also the one who was very close to him, he regarded the tribe leader as a friend and wanted to save him from Nyx as he saw an unfamiliar human with different clothing and dragging the tribe leader along the Jadeite frog was sneakily trying to jump into action to surprise Nyx but to it's surprise it was now a mount to a human child.

The Jadeite frog tried to slam Nyx to a nearby tree but the new beast taming seal with the slave seal didn't allow him to do so, the slave seal stopped it's movements by restricting it's limbs to move and the beast taming seal put a lock to it's soul making the Jadeite frog shiver in fear and didn't do anything stupid anymore as now he nothing more than a mount

Nyx was sitting in an uncomfortable hard skin frog with spikes on the sides that spans for at least half a meter making the Jadeite frog look more like a mutated bloodline of a ground dragon and a Jadeite frog Nyx asked the tribe leader and this time the tribe leader answered without any lies.

"Why are you answering my questions with respect now eh..?" I smirked and rested my right arm as I was carrying this burly man in my arms earlier for directions.

"You... strong even made the guardian your mount! Only our god can do that in the past!" The tribe leader said with anticipation.

"Then this leader of yours... is he strong..?" I asked the tribe leader while sitting in the giant frog.

"Hmm... She, is very strong! Strong that she even almost reach the level of our god!" The tribe leader said while looking at me without a hint of lies.

"Hmm... what level is she in..?" I curiously asked as what this tribe leader said could be true and a Void transformation realm cultivator could be their leader.

'But that is too fast... even the best geniuses would take at least hundreds of years and it seems they developed for only about a hundred or two and they already have a Void transformation realm cultivator, but let me see it first they may be confused with the realm cultivation and doesn't know it I should ask for the tribe leaders power more specifically'

As the Jadeite frog leap continuously Nyx heard noises just in front of them and the giant tree's now showed some crude buildings the sun almost can't pierce this part of the jungle the small independent world Nyx made back then also had a small sun that he made using the Law of light and Law of fire together he created a stable light source and even gave of enough heat to help the inhabitants survive but what made Nyx very surprise was all this giant things can exist in his internal world as if someone intentionally left it for him.

"Hmm... tree houses..? and it is made from animal skin and some woods, it is a sign for primitive life starting to rise up... this should be their tribe" I curiously said as I saw more and more tree houses and from the outer region it was only some small tree houses and it began to have a network of bridges to connect from tree to tree and the tree houses started to get bigger and bigger and to the ground they also had some houses made from wood or animal skins and formed a circle network of small village and surrounding a bigger tree it was a tree that Nyx was very familiar of it was one of the World Tree that can be found on extreme rare places in the ten thousand immortal worlds Nyx has found one and planted it on this Tiger shaped island and it seems it was the center of this whole jungle.

'So the world tree was the source of the wood QI and created this vast jungle that's why I felt most of my treasures were here... I mostly spend my time in this world tree as the wood QI helps with meditating and can also cultivate secret arts of the wood element and even made some guardian in the past using the abundant wood QI I made some humanoid creatures back then it was a crude ape like creature... but it seems to have evolve and now they took the characteristic of human as I made them from my blood essence.. then they should feel a sense of connection to me'

A few minutes has passed in the outside world and Nyx was still sitting in the same exact place he was in, and finally woke up and stood up and ran towards where the explosion happened.

"Finally I got it... phew I didn't think that it me so much time, I hope I'm not too late yet my mother's aura is already this weak it's only a matter of time untill she... she..." I clenched my fist as I remembered her warm hug.

'I swear to kill the f*****g demon..! He dare to do this to me... then he can just wait till I get stronger and trap his soul for eternity and burn it using my own spiritual flame!'

Nyx clenched his left arm as he summoned a small looking Pagoda with a black color and radiating a mysterious aura

Nyx rushed towards the crater as Terran was also closing to where Zira and Nyx were he finally saw an opening of in the dense forest he saw a familiar kid running towards something.

Terran used his mana to enhance his vision and roughly saw Nyx's face as he rushed with a teary eyes Terran slowed down after coming to the clearing of tree's and saw hundreds of zombies roaming around doing nothing except for some weird looking zombies that were following close by Nyx's back acting like they were guarding Nyx

Terran felt a sharp pain as he watched the tree's that were brought down by some explosive force he didn't saw Zira and Nyx together and had a bad feeling.

"Nyx..? Zira... Zira..!" Terran stopped wasting time trying to think through what has happened here.

'Zira..! Zira, I hope your okay..!'

Terran ran as fast as he could and tried to attack several zombies on his way but felt something was weird, the zombies didn't attack him nor defended against his attacks.

Terran stopped attacking them and focused on running, Terran was fifty meters away from Nyx and the hundreds of zombies blocked his vision and for a second he lost Nyx in his vision.

"Where is Nyx..? why did he suddenly dissappeared... argh! I hope everything is alright" Terran shouted and just ran towards where he last saw Nyx which was fifty meters away from his current position.

Meanwhile Nyx has finally reached the crater where Zira was and saw a pile of rubbles and Zira's injured body shaking as she was trying her best to try to stand up but she didn't have the strength to.

"Mother..!" I rushed and jumped to the crater as I saw my mother's shaking as she tried her best to get out of the huge crater with her injured body.

"..."

Zira looked forward and saw a blurry figure, her hearing was still not back to normal as she was in the middle of the explosion and can only hear a hazy familiar voice and a small outline of his body.

"...Nyx..?" Zira asked as her chapped lips and burnt body struggles to move forward.

"Mother..! It's okay I'm here and safe!" I then skidded down the crater and immediately hugged my heavily injured mother in my arms.

"... Nyx... it's good that your... okay..." Zira closed her eyes and tried to touch Nyx's face but failed as she didn't had the strength.

"Mother... I'm alright... so don't worry everything's going to be alright..." I then grabbed my mother's right hand carefully and let it touch my cheeks and felt her warm hands that was still trying to slowly heal

But the injuries were too much even for her own body.

"Nyx... mommy might not make it... in time... please tell your father... to take care of himself... and you too please take care and tell Keiko... that I'm sorry for not making it... and our promise..." She tried to look at my face for one last time and smiled at me.

"I'm so so sorry... my son... you were so beautiful back then and I always tried to make you wear girly dress... if mommy embarrassed you back then, I am sorry for that... haha, but you even made your own friends and be a good boy... I... I just hope that I can be at your side till you have your own family..." My mother tried to embrace me and my memories with her flown into my mind, the time when she always tried to surprise me like a kid and brought me with her to buy our dinner and even taught me cooking

But all that motherly love was about to end, that warm and lovely touch I didn't want it to end as I cried and my tears won't stop falling and I tried to wipe it with my hands but it still keep on going.

Nyx started to cry but tried his best to held back his emotions, as he wiped his tears Nyx saw Zira's warm smile at him and her heavy breathing.

"Mama..!" I didn't think I would cry this much even in the ten thousand immortal worlds with all those hardships and betrayal it was not comparable to this emotion that I was feeling

I finally felt motherly love again and even had a father, but now destiny is going to rob it again from me but that was still if I didn't have a knowledge of an immortal cultivator.

'That's right! I have a weird floating window and have the healing spell that I can use to regenerate my mom's broken limbs and injured organs... it might save her life and I don't have to use this Spirit capturing pagoda..!'

"[Heal]" Nyx then muttered and put his left hand towards Zira and let the mysterious green mana invade Zira's body and her charcoaled skin healed at an astonishing speed and her heavy breathing started to calm down

Seeing this Nyx felt hope and once put away the Spirit capturing pagoda back to his space ring that he got from the Four Mystical Island and wiped his tears and started to smile seeing Zira's injuries healed faster due to her acupoints being all opened.

"This is working... I... I hope this really do work..!" I hoped this healing spell work like the Law of life that can give life to another people if needed and Nyx wasn't so good at that law and can only rely on the healing spell he has.

"...Nyx... you know healing magic..? Only people selected by god or those who have received their blessings can use one... so this is what Helbert meant when he said you were very talented... hehe, it seems my son really is one and our suspicion is correct the goddess himself choose you... Nyx" My mom smiled at me as her face started to heal and her gorgeous look were back once again I smiled back bitterly.

"Mama... I don't want to lose you..." I tried to cling to this small hope but I can feel it, my mom's life force is slowly dissipating from her body at a fast speed.

"Zira..!" A familiar voice sounded.
