Chapter 15:Magical beast

The young hunters move closer to the metal spike with a smug look.

Zira was quite surprised too she didn't think that a silvery metal could be this strong, and thought that her mana might've still need to recover for some time.

So Zira was curious and tried to observe the young hunters.

A young hunter named Darby alfredssons was trying to lead the other young hunters in showing their skills.

"Heh how hard could a silver metal be?"

"yeah, hahaha"

"show them your skills Darby!"

The young hunter named Darby alfredssons to swing his old chipped sword to the silver metal spike but the elder Winfred Wilward stopped him before he does something stupid.

"Darby, that's enough don't embarrass yourself I know how strong Zira and Terran is by my experience"

"huh..? but, why are you stopping me elder..?"

"Young man this days are really impatient"

Darby was not convinced by the elder, however Zira also wanted to see if she was weakened or the silver metal is just too sturdy for her to even scratch it.

"Elder, can you let the young hunters try it? I also want to know if this has something to do with my injury..."

Zira then glanced at Terran reminding him of what he did.

Terran was once again intimidated by Zira.

The elder broke the grim atmosphere and looked at Terran, you owe me one.

Terran and the elder were like brothers that could understand each other without them talking out loud.

Nyx couldn't believe what he just saw, a man at the age of 16-18 was acting like some kind of a heroine in a novel.

Darby was very proud of himself with the praise of his colleagues it boosted hos spirit and arrogance, looking like a villain with a pointy nose.

"Hmph, let's see then just how strong this piece of jewelry metal is..."

Darby swung his sword at the pace of any normal human would not clearly see, Nyx however was quite surprised to see a mortal bee this fast in his entire life!

"Heh, they must be quite shocked to see my speed... Darby is my name and I was recognized because of my talent and speed in swordsmanship utilizing my mana that even others can't comprehend!"

A loud sharp sound was echoing in the streets. That's when everyone realized the old chipped sword the young hunter Darby used was shattered in half!!

Zira and Terran acted quickly and catched the flying pieces of the broken sword but Zira was faster than him and managed to collect all the broken pieces near the elder and young hunters.

"so... so fast!"

"h-how is it possible to move that fast..!?"

"and even catching almost all of the broken sword..!"

Every single one of the young hunters immediately change their attention to Terran and Zira, leaving Darby nothing but embarassment.

"H-how did this happened..? My sword..!"

The elder Winfred walked closer to Darby and patted his shoulders.

"Hmmmm... young Darby don't be discouraged if you want to become stronger in the future you can learn from this two Zira and Terran."

Zira and Terran was surprised and was flustered at what the elder Winfred said.

"Uh... elder hehehe, you don't have to be so sweet talking about my talents... it's only natural after all"

Zira heard Terran's response and couldn't help but bonk his head again.

"Ahem, sorry for that elder, and for Darby's sword we will compensate it."

"hmmmm, heard that young Darby, you don't need to be disheartened Zira and Terran are good people you don't need to act rude to them"

The young man Darby almost cried when he saw his broken sword in pieces, but when the elder spoke and Zira also said the same thing to compensate him with a new one.

He couldn't help but be grateful and embarrassed by how arrogant he was.

"Ahem, as for the young hunters in hear can you see the giant tree in the middle of the village..?"

The young hunters gasp and couldn't possibly believe at what the elder said, could a human even cut a tree towering at forty meters with a width of almost 10 meters!

The elder was really disappointed at how shallow minded the young people nowadays.

Nyx was having trouble coping at the current situation and also couldn't believed what the elder said.

One by one they came closer to Zira and Terran but the other veteran hunters were also curious because some of them haven't actually yet seen Zira and Terran's real power.

"Uhhh... can we ask something..? were you hy any chance adventurers in the past?"

"hmmm... yeah Terran and I were but we retired soon enough when we had our first born Nyx."

Zira looked at Nyx while Terran was holding Nyx's hand.

The hunter named Aldway Blackmane was one leading the questions while the other hunters just stood and follow him.

"then... have you already killed dozens of magical beast..?"

"hmmm... well yeah most of the time it was only low level ones from E class goblins to C class Dire wolves pack"

"whoooaaaa.... is-is that really true..? I heard that even goblins are harder to deal with even if they were the weakest..."

"well yeah goblins are small creatures with a color from green to grey, but they are only as strong as an adult man and there intelligence are quite low making them easier to kill one by one"

"b-but I heard that they live in packs..."

"yeah, I also heard that and they also mostly live in caves"

The young hunters were pretty doubtful and didn't mind it.

"That's pretty suspicious... how could a normal human possibly just train and achieve that..?"

Terran was quite annoyed at how dumb this young people were.

This time the veteran hunters reacted to Terran's story.

The young hunters gulped out of fear in hearing about a magical beast that could potentially destroy a whole Kingdom!

Darby was now more curious about Terran and Zira's real power.

"I'm sorry for my rudeness earlier sir Terran, ma'am Zira!"

The other young hunters saw Darby apologize and soon one after another they also apologize for their suspicions.

"I'm sorry ma'am, sir!"

"I'm also sorry ma'am, sir!"

"We're so sorry ma'am, sir for our rude behavior towards our rudeness earlier!"

Everyone of them bowed to Zira and Terran.

Nyx was also surprised, if they were this doubtful then that means that magical beast are indeed quite formidable in this world just like in the ten thousand immortal worlds.

"Mama, papa this magical beast also have ranks..?"

"Hmmm... yes dear, they are ranked accordingly from E to SSS class or sometime from F to SSS+ class"
