“Okaaaay! Meg!” I greeted enthusiastically as I watched my friend walk into my apartment.
So much time had already passed, and we were already at the end of April. Those three months had flown by in a blur. The weather had turned warmer, allowing us to be outside, as long as it didn’t start to rain. Jax and I had fallen into a perfect rhythm, and I couldn’t even put into words how happy I was.
But tonight was my bachelorette party! My best friend had gone all out, wearing this tight, golden dress that was very short too. She could not bend over, or she would give everyone a show, and she wore these high golden heels. Her beautiful hair cascaded down her back.
“Nathan let you come out like that?” I teased.
“I might have changed in the car,” she quipped, winking at me.
