She Is Mine

Xavier's POV

She left with her father and I'm still surprised by what happened. I can't believe my friend rejected his mate for this stupid reason.

"Don't you think your reason is stupid. I mean all this time you waited for a mate and now when you finally found her, you rejected her for this?"

"Exactly all this time I waited for her but she couldn't do the same for me".

"You know she broke her engagement for you and this was the price she had to pay".

"She should have waited for me and I would have handled the situation in a much better manner".

"Anyway you should be concerned about your mate. You heard her father he is not willing with one of his pack members being my mate, let alone allow his daughter to be with you".

He is right. Her father will not agree to our bond and the situation is even worse than I thought before.

"Want a drink" I ask Sean who nods in agreement.

Jane's POV

We reached our house and Dad is still super angry. Amelia was dropped to her house on the way. Mom is still awake and sitting in the lounge.

"What were you doing with the Blood Moon's Alpha? Answer me what were your doing there at this hour!" Mom is also very furious but before I can answer Dad starts talking.

"She was there with Amelia. That girl has created a problem. I will inform her parents tomorrow and will try to find a solution".

"Amelia never gets in problems. What has she done" asks Mom.

"Apparently she broke her engagement because she is mate of the Blood Moon's Beta who in return rejected her and our daughter was there maybe to comfort her or something".

"Jane did you knew that Amelia broke her engagement "? Dad asks.

Crap! Yes I did but Dad is so angry that I can't even speak in front of him now. "I just found out" I lied but what am I supposed to say I'm sacred. "She did told me before that she wasn't feeling well and was restless about something but I thought it was because she was supposed to leave the Pack soon" I said and hoped they won't ask anything else.

"Your are no more a kid neither is she, she is 18 already and even a kid know how much important a pack alliance is especially in today's date. How can she be so reckless to take such a step" Dad says.

"What about her parents do they know her fiance might have informed them. Did she told you anything about them" Mom asks.

"No I don't know about her parents" I answered.

"I will call her parents and talk to them tomorrow" Dad says "and you go and sleep and remember! I don't want to see you near the Blood Moon again" Dad warns me.

"Okay" I answer and leave for my room. As I reach my room I realize how tired I'm. I remove my dress and take a warm shower and then lie down on my bed. As I'm relaxing I reminiscence on every moment I spent with Xavier. I think of how my body reacted to his touch and it makes me blush. I fall asleep thinking about him.

I'm walking again in the woods covered with snow and hear some growls and then there are two wolves standing opposite each other growling at one another. The atmosphere is very tense and slowly many more wolves and in a short time the place changes into a battlefield. All the wolves attacking each other and the two powerful ones are circling one another and as they starts attacking on each other I wake up. I'm all sweaty once again and as look at the clock it's 5:10 am.

Why am I having these dreams. I thought it has something to do with my mate but after meeting him why the dreams keep coming. The one wolf the jet black one felt like Xavier but who was the other one and why was I feeling somehow connected to him too.

On the breakfast table Mom and Dad does not talk at all it's Christmas week so the Pack is also busy in the decorations and other arrangements and as the Ceremony this year collided with Christmas our Pack has double works to do, maybe that's wahy Dad is busy and not in mood of talking but Mom is also quite and my brothers are themselves.

When my brothers leave my father turns to me and I directly know I'm in trouble. "I talked to Amelia's parents and also informed James, they will be coming here in half an hour and you will be present during the meeting" Dad tells me.

Shit! s**t! What if Amelia told them I was already present in the hotel when she came and I knew about her break up. Oh Moon Goddess! Please save me! Please, please. "Are you listening to what I said" Dad asked with a raised brow.

"Yes Dad, I will be there" I answered.

We are waiting in our living room and Uncle James arrives. He looks very pissed and is furious. I hope things won't take a dirty turn. Few moments later Amelia arrives with her parents. Her parents looks both angry and embarrassed and Amelia is looking terrible. She seems like she just came back from hell. Well her situation justifies her state. I feel very bad for her and want to hug her but I'm too scared at the moment to move from my place and just nod at her.

"Alpha, Beta! We are extremely sorry for what our daughter did, she is young and stupid. Amelia does not understand how pack works. Please forgive us we will talk to her fiance and make sure everything is fine" her father says.

"The Opal Moon called me in the morning they want to rethink our alliance but they will wait till the end of the Ceremony" Uncle James yells furiously. "Tell me again what has your daughter done" he asks Amelia's parents.

"She broke her engagement because she found her fated mate. She is too young and have no idea how serious Pack business can be and we all know how strong the mate bond is, so we cannot blame her for anything. Lets talk to Opal Moon an irresponsibility of an 18 year old should mot affect our alliance" Dad says.

"We cannot lose a possible ally because of a youth's discretion" my Uncle is definitely pissed at her.

"We cannot blame her for it either. It is not her job or any other kids to make allies" Dad says now angry. I agree with my father our Pack should have never used its members for alliances ever.

"So what do you want us to do now. Why did you even called the meeting then" Uncle James asks annoyed.

"We will talk with the Opal Moon and still make the alliance through business contracts. They need some help with their finances. We will offer to invest in their territory and have our alliance."

" I called you here to talk about the Blood Moon. Amelia is their Beta's fated mate" my uncle goes completely red with anger and tries to say something but Dad continues talking, "before anyone want to say something I was angry too but it is not her fault. We don't get to choose our fated mates. I think we should leave the history behind and move on. Blood Moon is the most powerful Pack and an alliance with them is a 100 times better than with any other Pack. So if we are able to solve Amelia's problem it is good for everyone" Dad concludes and I definitely agree with him.

"Have you lost your mind! An allaince with the Blood Moon ha. I think I heard you wrong and does her mate shares her feelings?" Uncle asks bitterly.

"Tell me! Amelia I'm asking you. What does your mate say"? Uncle asks.

Amelia hesitates for a little while and then answers with her voice breaking " he... he rejected me".

"Wow! Now Jonathan what do you say about this? As the Alpha of this Pack I command you all to forget about the Blood Moon, we will talk to the Opal Moon and end all the misunderstandings. Am I clear."

"And you do tell your daughter to accept the rejection and be done with it" he tells Amelia's parents who nods in agreement.

Dad leaves angrily and Mom follows him. I'm left with the angry and sad guest in our living room. I can't believe they didn't listen to Dad his decision was right. We have to move on, we cannot be stuck in the Past forever but these people are so stubborn.

Amelia and her parents leaves. Uncle James walks towards me. "Jane you are like my daughter and what I wants is definitely for your good. I want you to stay away from that girl and I know you were with her when she was with the Blood Moon's Alpha and Beta. I don't want any gossips so stay away from her and from the Blood Moon, understand". I nod in agreement.

"Good girl, I will go and talk to your father now" and he also leaves. What am I supposed to do now what about Xavier and I.

After dinner Dad tells me and Mom that the Opal Moon broke the alliance and are not willing to talk to us.

"They said we have insulted them and they want nothing to do with us not even any business" Dad says while he pours himself a glass of whisky.

"Jane stay away from that girl, she insulted our Pack in front of others and also stay as far away as possible from the Blood Moon".

"Her birthday is in two days and I want a grand affair. She is our firstborn and I'm super excited that she is turning 18" Mom says.

"We will have a grand party and James told me to invite all the Alphas and Betas present on our territory. So you should personally look over the arrangements, everything should be according to our Pack's standards" Dad instructs Mom.

"By all the Alphas and Betas you mean the Blood Moon too" Mom asks.

"Yes, we cannot left them out alone it will raise questions and questions and doubts are the last things we want now" Dad tells us.

"As you wish" Mom says and leaves for her room I also say goodnight to Dad and leave. I don't know but I think something is bothering Dad and it is not Amelia's matter. I forgot he had a meeting with Xavier but I don't think I should ask him about this especially now.

Xavier's POV

I'm informed about the time and place of my meeting with Jane's father. I'm nervous about the meeting which is unusual but I try my best to not appear nervous.

"Sean! Will you accompany me for the meeting?" I ask him.

"Yes, I'm your Beta and I will accompany you everywhere" he answers.

"Your sure you want to go"?

"Of course Xavier and please change your pitiful attitude with me" he says annoyed.

"Fine".

We arrive at a restaurant and at the reception one of his gamma lead us to his table. "Good Morning! Alpha Xavier and Sean", "Good Morning, Mr. White" we both answers in unison.

Now I'm feeling even more nervous as I'm facing him. He is a powerful wolf an Alpha, his muscles and built also prove his physical strength. But it is not his aura or physique that is making me nervous, it is the bond I share with his daughter.

"I want to talk about Amelia here. I know our histories but I think we should leave the past in the past and move on."

"I agree we really need to move on".

"I respect mate bonds. They are a blessing from Moon Goddess and we should always respect her blessings. So what does your Beta says. Why he rejected Amelia and does he still stand by his decision?" He asks me.

"I can't speak for him. Sean you should speak for yourself".

"I still stand by my decision I don't want Amelia as my mate" Sean says.

"Why! What is the reason, are you engaged or mated"? He asks Sean.

Sean tenses a little bit then says the truth. "I don't want someone who has slept with someone else as my mate. I'm sorry if it sounds offensive but that's the reason I didn't want her".

"What sort of a reason is this. I thought you were respectable people but seriously this is your reason!" he says angrily.

"I think everyone is right about you and we should stick to our histories" he says and gets up from the table. Sean gives me an apologetic look. I really want to kill him at that moment. How can he be so stupid and stubborn.

"Mr. White! please listen to me. I know I can't force my Beta for having a mate but we should leave our past behind it is good for both packs. I think we should have an alliance and do business together. It is good for the members of both packs". I really don't know what to say but I really can't mess this up I can't lose her.

"My pack and I want to do nothing with you. We will never do business with someone who rejected our daughter for such a stupid and selfish reason" he says angrily.

"Please! I request.... we can have this alliance... if not through my Beta's relation with Amelia we can.... I mean your daughter is single and so am I. I would like to propose our marriage" by the look on his face I know I crossed the limit.

"Don't ever talk about my daughter or I will rip you in half" he roars with anger. My wolf is angry on his insult and restless for his mate I have a hard time controlling him.

"I didn't said anything disrespectful, if I have I apologize but please reconsider it".

"I already said what I had to say enough, I don't want to hear anything. And we are considering a proposal for her, which is good both for her and our Pack. So it is better you should not push your limits and stay as away form Jane as possible" he declares raging.

"She is mine! She is my mate and I will not step back from claiming her!" I said and he gives me a deathly glare but doesn't say anything.

"She is turning 18 in two days, you both are invited to her birthday party. Do come but stay as away from her as you can" he says and leaves. I was not expecting an invitation to be honest.
