Jane's POV

I'm completely shocked to see Amelia with Xavier's Beta at this hour. His Beta is fuming with anger while Amelia looked like she cried for a whole day, she looks terrible.

"What is going on? Why are you crying"? I ask definitely concerned.

"I lost him. I know I made a mistake but I just wanted to be with him I... I" she breaks down into sobs. I try to comfort her.

"What is going on here" Xavier asks his Beta. I didn't knew he was here.

"She is my mate", his Beta answers with disgust and I glare at him annoyed. Why is he disgusted by the fact that Amelia is his mate.

"Why are you angry then, you always wanted a mate" Xavier asks with raised brow.

"She is mated with someone else" his Beta answers full of hatred.

"Amelia was engaged but she broke the engagement. Her engagement was not her fault, it was her family's decision" I say clearly angry with his Beta's attitude.

"Sean you know they have this tradition of engagement then why are you acting like this" Xavier says seemingly annoyed.

"Why don't you ask her how she broke the engagement."

"For Goddess's sake Amelia calm down stop crying and tell me what is he talking about" I ask her but she keeps crying and doesn't answer me.

"Let's go to my room and we will talk there. If someone saw us here it will create problems", says Xavier and we nod in agreement.

As we get inside his room Amelia and I sit on the couch while both of the guys keep standing in front of us. Amelia is still crying and sobbing heavily.

"What happened please tell me, you are scaring me" I ask her while giving her a glass of water Xavier handed me.

"My mate rejected me" she says while sobbing.

"What why, why would you reject her" I ask Sean.

"Because she is mated with another wolf" answer Sean with anger.

"She was just enagaged and the engagement toi is broken now".

"And how was that engagement broken? She was engaged to a Beta and no wolf will walk out of a engagement that easily let alone a Beta" Sean says actually yells.

"Sean calm down and stop yelling at her" Xavier now looks annoyed at his Beta.

"Amelia will you say something! Now I'm losing my calm, what the f**k happened? "

"John agreed to calling off the engagement but on one condition" Amelia finally starts talking.

"What condition" I ask impatiently.

"He asked me to....to..sleep with him" she says which shocks me.

"You slept with him?" I ask her to be sure of what I heard and she nods. Sean is even more enraged now I can feel his Beta aura hoing crazy in the room. I'm shocked too my friend Amelia, who is the shy girl slept with someone.

"If it was consensual than why are you crying now".

"I did it so I can be with my fated mate and he rejected me because of it, tell me what am I supposed to be doing!"

"You rejected her because she slept with someone?" I ask Sean who seems like he's gonna kill her.

"All my life I waited for my mate. I saved myself for her and never messed around any women and this is my mate. I will never want someone like her in my life. Calk me conservative or whatever you want but virginity matters to me and she is not a virgin". I can't believe he just said that.

"Seriously Sean! she didn't cheated on you what happened, happened before you came in her life" Xavier says, also surprised by his Beta's speech.

"Whatever Xavier for me it matters and I will mot settle for any less.

I reject you as my mate."

"Please don't! Please I will die, don't do this I beg you don't" Amelia gets up and is literally begging him.

"Enough! accept the rejection so we both will be done with it" says Sean coldly.

"I will never accept it, I will rather die than rejecting my mate". Amelia again break downs into sobs and I'm confused what to do.

"Ask him to take his rejection back! Can't you see her situation, she'll die like this" I ask Xavier who looks a bit surprised by my demand.

"It's his choice I can't force him for this."

"Yes you can, he is your Beta he will never disobey your command". I know I'm being selfish now but I can't see my bestfriend in this situation.

"Jane, I can't he is my best friend I will never force him for everything" Xavier answers.

"I will rather die than accepting her in my life".

We stay like that for an hour and the the door knocks. We are all surprised as who can it be at this hour. When Xavier opens the door my heart skip a beat, it is Dad.

Dad steps inside with his gamma and from his facial expressions doesn't seem very happy at seeing me in Blood Moon Alpha's room at this hour.

"Mind explaining what are you doing here, Jane" Dad asks and I'm speechless.

"I... actually Dad.. I" I don't know what to say.

"She came here with me" I'm surprised at Amelia for saying this.

"And why are you here" Dad asks definitely amgry at us.

"Sean is my mate I wanted to talk to him that's why we came here" Dad's expressions changes suddenly and he is fuming now.

"Mate! you are engaged to be married to the Opal Moon's Beta or have you forgotten that and what about your family? Do they know about this?"

"I broke my engagement and family doesn't know anything".

"You did what? I think you all forgot the history of our Packs! We will never have any relations with the Blood Moon." Dad is so angry that even I'm scared of him.

"I don't want any relations with your Pack either Mr.White I already rejected her" intervenes Sean.

"Very well Mr. Jones. Than why are you two still here? What are you waiting for? Accept the rejection and leave" Dad is so mad that his Alpha aura is hoing wild in the room, it is so intense that his gamma, Amelia and even Sean steps back.

"I think we should discuss this tomorrow at a proper time and place Mr.White" Xavier finally starts talking.

"There's nothing keft for discussion, she will accept his rejection and we will peacefully proceed for the Ceremony".

"As you like it but I still propose a meeting where we can discuss this and I also wanted to talk to you about something else."

"I have nothing to talk with you. Excuse us, lets go girls!"

"Please sir it is a request. It is something important that I want to talk about" I glare at Xavier, has he lost his mind Dad is so angry finding out about Amelia. I have no idea how he will react if he finds out about me.

Dad thinks for a while and then answers " okay, tomorrow at lunch, we will send you the address but I don't any member of your pack near mine".

"Fine, I will make sure you don't".
