His Possessive Luna

My Mate pt.2

Xavier's POV

I have a mate who is almost engaged to someone else. The moment I found out about her I asked Sean to find everything about her and that's what he told me. The Green Valley is planning an allaince and Jane is part of it. Her family is doing it for her good but seriously Gabriel is a jerk and everyone knows it.

The moment I saw her to this I can't concentrate on something else. she has occupied my mind and soul. I can't imagine her name connected to someone else let alone her marrying someone else.

I think of talking to her father but due to the history of our Packs they will never believe me. They will think of it as interference in their Pack business which is completely unacceptable. I should talk to her myself and find out a solution.

"We have a business dinner tonight do not forget" shouts Sean from outside the room. He can mindlink me but he like shouting.

The meeting goes well. We wanted to expand our business in the East and the Pack agreed to our terms and conditions and we were able to secure the deal. My phone starts vibrating and when I look at it its my Mom, I excuse myself and attend the call.

"Have you found someone yet or you are waiting for the Ceremony. Come on say something ".

"I haven't found anyone yet, the moment I did I will inform you right away".

"Sean was talking about some girl you're investigating "?

Can't he just shut up for a while. "That was related to business nothing personal".

"Its better not personal. We don't want anything personal with Green Valley Beta's daughter, don't forget our past. I know she is very beautiful but she cannot be the Luna of Blood Moon, understood".

"Don't worry Mom I will not create a problem for my Pack and trust me I will choose the best Luna for myself".

"Good, all the best to you then. Don't come back without my daughter-in-law. Goodbye and take care".

"Goodbye".

As I start walking back to teach Sean a lesson, I see her there she is coming in my direction. She is looking somewhere else and bumps directly into me. Well I tried to focus on my way but I couldn't take my eyes off of her. As she is standing right infront of me I can see her beauty even more clearly. She is very beautiful, every feature in her face is just intoxicating especially her eyes.

Her eyes are seagreen in color and very intoxicating, looking in them makes you forget the whole world. Everything around us blurs out except for her and her eyes. It takes all of my will to take my eyes off hers and greet her.

"Hi".

"How are you", I ask

"Fine um Good, Actually great and you" her response makes me smile, she seems very confident yet answers awkwardly.

"Very well, thanks for asking. Are you here with your father?".

"No, I'm here with my friends and you?"

"I'm here for a business meeting".

"Oh, best of luck". Her every reply makes me smile, I can't believe someone can be this beautiful and amazing, this mate bond is seriously making me lose my mind.

"Thank you".

"Actually I was thinking if we could meet for a lunch", because I really want to see her again my wolf is going all crazy by the thought of his mate being so near. She hesitates a bit and then answers .

"Why not, when?". I'm glad she didn't decline the offer.

"Tomorrow"?

"Fine with me".

"See you tomorrow then" and then I lean forward whichis a bad move as her scent drives me crazy and compliment her "by the way you're looking very beautiful".

Sean finds out everything about their alliance with the Bluemoon and the fact that my mate really has not shifted yet.

"She is your mate right, that was the reason you were so lost these days and you never told me anything. Seriously man! I always told you everything about myself and you kept me in ignorance all this time", Sean starts shiuting again. I know I should have told him but I wasn't sure about it.

"I wasn't sure about tge mate thing and you were already occupied with your emotions I didn't wanted to burden you".

"Burden me! What the f**k man, we are like brothers, you think your feelings are a burden for me or its the other way around. Is my feelings burdening you"?

"Come on Sean, don't be so dramatic. Honestly speaking I thought you were already going through a lot, that's the only reason I didn't tell you and also the fact I wasn't sure what it was".

"Whatever man, I'm an i***t, you told me to search about her and I did it. She has not shifted yet, according to the elders she might be a late shifter fue to their Royal lineage but if she fail to shift on her 18th birthday, which in fact is in 4 or 5 days she would never shift and about the alliance".

"You already told me about the alliance".

"There is something new actually, her father will not accept the proposal till the end of the Ceremony, so if his daughter want to choose someone of her choice she can but it's more unlikely that she will do it".

"And why is that"? Why would she not choose for herself if she is given the option.

"Because she has never messed around any boy so far and whoever she will choose will be according to her rank and social standing, which means a rich, powerful Alpha and I believe that's the reason Alpha James agreed to postpone the alliance".

"You're saying she is a snob", she doesn't seem to be though.

"Her father is a billionaire. All ger life she has known super rich people, its quite likely she will choose someone of her social status, don't you think. Even you were told to choose a mate from a high ranking Pack remember. So does not matter if she is a snob or not ger options are quite limited."

"Which makes Gabriel the perfect match" I say definitely not like the idea of them together. "But Gabriel is not the most powerful Alpha out there".

"Yes he is not but only you and the Gold Moon Alpha outranks him and do you see the Gold Moon Alpha, he is not participating in the Ceremony, which leaves only you and you know better that they will rather marry her to an omega than you" Sean says as if concluding a speech.

"But what if she wants to be with me. I'm sure her her father will support her".

"You think she wants to be with you, I mean she can't shift so her bond is far weaker than yours".

"I will ask her that during the lunch".

She was again looking so beautiful that I kept staring at her during the lunch and unfortunately Sean's doubts were right. She directly refused to be with me which I don't think actually came from her heart but it still hurt me and my wolf.

I will happily support her during her studies and her business venture but I'm definitely gonna claim her first. Just the thought of her being with someone else is driving my wolf crazy. I think I was a bit too dominant with her, I completely forgot the fact she has Alpha blood and will never submit. I'm regretting being an i***t I should have considered what she wanted before being so imperative.

The dinner party bores me just at the moment a arrive there. So many people who hates us and curses at our backs greets us with fake smiles and courtesies.

I have no idea what is wrong with Penelope but she is sticking so close to me all the time that it's sickening. She even gets rude to some people who try to introduce their daughters.

"What is wrong with you, why are you acting like this. I told you before we are not here to scare the people. Behave yourself or I will ask you to leave" I had to confront her, her behavior is embarrassing for the Pack.

"Stop scolding me I just wanted those hypocrites to stay away, can't you see how they are serving their daughters to you" she says, which makes me further angry.

"Well if you have forgotten I'm here to chose a mate. So if they are introducing their daughters to me, it's not something bad because for your information its the Claiming Ceremony and everyone here is looking for mate and I advise you to look for yours before its too late".

"I'm not here for a mate. I don't need to chose someone, I'm happy with what I have".

"Then I guess you should leave", I say and walk away from her, she has become too irritating for the past couple of years. As I walk away Jane arrives amd as usual my heart and wolf both gets out of control and I have a geart time controlling myself.

She looks heavenly beautiful in her gown but before I can even get a better look Gabriel walks towards her and starts talking and my wolf wants to rip him apart.

She walks away form her and stands next to her father. The dance starts and I see Gabriel is about to get near her definitely asking for a dance but I'm standing near to her than him, so I get to dance with her.

The moment our skin comes in contact the sparks that shots up drives me insane. Hopefully I will get use to it soon.

After our dance she leaves the hall and I unfortunately have to stay for a while talking about business with a couple of Packs.

When I get the opportunity I leave for my hotel, my mate all the way occupying my mind. As I reach my hotel room I directly go for a shower and when I'm done and about to come out, her scent hit me.

I think maybe it's coming from my suit as she came in contact to them but the moment I walk out of the washroom I see her. My mate standing in my room.

We both definitely lose control but I had to stop before its too late. If anyone saw her coming here, let alone knowing about what was about to happen it will create problems for the Packs.

She is obviously angry with me and leaves. I sit there feeling like s**t and my wolf is completely enraged with me. I give up and start following her, as I reach near her she stops and turns to an alley and that's when I see Sean with a Green Valley girl.
