The Rogues Return

998 Words
After excusing myself from breakfast, I followed Sara to her office. On the way, she told me that the Alpha's name is Malachi. I can’t help but think how the name suits him perfectly. He is 21, and has been looking for his mate for three years now. No wonder he seemed sad talking about searching for his mate. I don’t know what I would do if I don’t find my mate right away. Sara started running tests on me as soon as we got to her office. She drew blood and took multiple x-rays. She was about to recommend a cat scan, but the doors of her office flew open and a very angry Alpha was charging straight for me. I could feel the color drain from my skin as I turned towards him. “Can you tell me why there are rogues at our pack’s border asking for us to give you to them? They are claiming that they are your friends.” he was on the verge of yelling. I started to have a panic attack at the mention of the rogues wanting me back. I couldn’t go back. I won’t go back to them, not after what they did. I was finding it hard to breathe. I was breathing quickly and I couldn’t catch my breath. “Sara!” I managed to squeak out. “I can’t go back to them. Don’t let them take me!” I shouted with tears in my eyes. I collapsed to the floor and whispered, “No, no, no, please, please don’t let them take me. I don’t think that I will survive if they take me.” At this point I am balling and can’t calm down. Alpha Malachi is looking at me with confusion and concern. “Sara, what is going on?” asked Alpha Malachi. Sara looked at the Alpha then looked to me. She knelt down beside me and put one of her arms around me. “Alley, did you want me to tell the Alpha what happened, or did you want to tell him?” asked Sara with concern. ~ Alpha Malachi’s POV ~ I don’t know what I was expecting when I went to confront Allison about the rogues, but I wasn’t expecting this. She went completely pale, and started breathing quickly. It made my wolf mad at me for making her upset like this, but I didn’t understand why she was acting like this. I need someone to talk to me. Why is Sara asking Allison if she wants Sara to tell me or Allison to tell me what’s going on? I wish someone would speak already, it is making me more frustrated every second that we sit in silence. Sara is the first one to speak. “Alpha, those men are not who they claim they are. Two nights ago they did unspeakable things to Alley.” What the hell does she mean by unspeakable things? Allison slowly stops crying, and motions for Sara to stop. Allison continues, “Alpha, two nights ago I was cooking my dinner, when three rogue wolves approached me out of nowhere. They were talking like they had been searching for me for a long time and were planning on bringing me to someone.” She paused for a moment. I am on the edge of my seat. What the hell did they do to her? “As they were talking to me a fourth rogue ambushed me and hit me over the head with a rock.” I let out a low growl and both Allison and Sara looked at me confused. She continued, “All four of the rogues started to attack me. I did my best to fight them off, but I was dizzy from the headblow and they overpowered me.” She stopped to calm her breathing as she was crying into her hands. My wolf was restless and didn’t think that he was going to like the rest. I am already on edge and ready to rip these rogues into pieces. “The leader of the group suggested that they have ‘fun’ with me before they took me to whomever they were taking me to. That’s when the leader started to take off my pants. I head butted him really hard, but that didn’t stop them.” She wrapped her arms around herself as I sat there in shock. I knew what was coming next. I really wish that I didn’t though. “They all took turns with me for several hours until they were tired. As soon as they fell asleep, I shifted into my wolf form and let my wolf take me away from there as quickly as possible. And you know the rest.” We sat in silence for a few minutes. Sara was embracing Allison while she continued to cry, and I was fighting with my wolf for control. He wanted to go rip the bastards to shreds right now, but I didn’t want to leave Allison’s side. So, I settled with mind linking my Beta and telling him to take the rogues into custody. We will deal with them later. Sara managed to get Allison into a bed and gave her a sedative to help her calm down. Sara pulled me to the side to talk to me. “Sara, what are the extent of her injuries?” I asked her. “Alpha, she has multiple broken ribs, bruises all over her body, and a mild concussion. I am surprised that she isn’t in more pain. Any normal wolf would be in bed for several days. Her physical injuries will heal in about a day or two, but her mental injuries will take much longer to heal.” replied Sara. “Thank you Sara. I will keep an eye on her if you want to go do something else.” Sara gave me a suspicious look before leaving the room to do something else. I don’t know why but I want to be here when she wakes up.
