Mates

I could feel sparks everywhere we were touching. I suddenly needed more, and looked up to Alpha Malachi. He looked down at me and crashed his lips on mine. We kissed for several minutes until we realized that the rest of the pack was cheering for us. They were excited that their Alpha had found his mate and their Luna. “Maybe we should take this to somewhere where there aren’t as many eyes.” he said. I couldn’t speak at the moment, so I nodded my head in agreement. He led me by the hand outside to the garden.

He took me to the same bench by the fountain where we talked the night that we went on a run. As we sat down, Alpha Malachi brought me into a tight hug before saying, “You have no idea how happy I am that you are here. The fact that we are mates explains so much. I am glad that we got to spend some time together these last two weeks before we discovered that we are mates. How are you feeling?” I looked up at him with tears in my eyes. “This is the happiest day of my life. Not only did I find my mate, but I found my pack too.” We sat there just embracing each other for several minutes. I didn’t want to let go of him.

I took a few more deep breaths of his scent before releasing the hug and looking at Alpha Malachi. “Alpha, can we go on a run? Possibly to the waterfall?” He looked at me and kissed me. The kiss was gentle at first, I could feel his tongue pressing against my lips begging for entrance. I opened my mouth a little and his tongue danced in my mouth. The kiss turned into a deep and passionate kiss that I never wanted to end. We both broke away to catch our breath and steady our breathing. Alpha Malachi spoke first, “We can do whatever you want darling, but I ask that you don’t call me Alpha anymore. You are my mate, my other half, my Luna. You are equal to me and don’t need to call me by a title.” I looked at him with a smile and said, “Okay, Malachi, let’s go for a run to the waterfall.”

We walked to the edge of the forest, and I started to walk behind a tree. I noticed Malachi walking towards a different tree, and I pulled on his hand. “Malachi, come over here with me. There’s no reason to be shy. We are bound to see each other naked sooner or later. Why not sooner?” He gulped and nodded his head. We were both a little nervous with anticipation. I started by unbuttoning Malachi’s shirt. Once all of the buttons had been unbuttoned, I took off his shirt and everything that he was wearing above it in one swift motion. Malachi started kissing my neck and worked his way down to my shoulder where his mark would go. I could feel the sparks flying every time his lips touched my skin. The heat I could feel from my arousal was almost too much. I have never felt like this before, and I never want this feeling to leave. I took a couple deep breaths, which was a mistake. Malachi’s scent was honey to my nostrils, I couldn’t get enough. I started to unbutton Malachi’s pants. My hands were a little shaky, but I managed to get his pants undone. The moment I unbuttoned his pants they fell to the ground. He let out a low growl.

His hands were around my back and rubbing my body as he looked for the zipper. Once he located my zipper, he pulled it down until it wouldn’t go any further, and let the dress drop to the ground. We were now standing there in nothing but our underwear and shoes. I reached behind me and took off the necklace, because I didn’t want it to get damaged when we shifted. I bent down and took off my shoes while Malachi did the same. We faced each other, and our hands started running up and down each other’s body, making us tremble at the sparks. Malachi leaned down and started kissing my neck again and said, “This may hurt.” Before I could process what he meant, his canines were digging into my neck. I gasped in pain at first, but pleasure slowly flowed through my body. I smiled, he just marked me. He released his grip on my neck and licked the mark clean of any blood. My turn I thought.

I started kissing his neck, and just as I was about to mark him, he said, “Hold on, Beta Matthew is mind linking me.” I sigh out of frustration and continue kissing Malachi’s neck. He pulls back and says with a grin, “You know, you make it really difficult to focus.” I chuckled. “Is everything ok?” I ask. “Not sure, there have been a few rogues spotted entering the territory. Matthew says that he will let me know if I am needed. As much as I don’t want to, let’s get dressed and head back to our room instead. We can go on a run tomorrow once the rogues are gone.” I looked at him and said, “Okay, but let me do one thing before we go.” He looks at me puzzled and starts to say, “What do you…” I interrupted his question by sinking my teeth into his skin at the base of his neck. He took a few deep breaths and let out a soft moan. “There, now we’re even.” I said with a grin.

It didn’t take long to put our clothes back on. Malachi didn’t bother with buttoning his shirt, so he was walking around with his shirt partly open. Which made it very difficult for me to pay attention to where I was going. I stumbled a couple of times, and Malachi insisted on carrying me. He held me bridal style on the way back to the pack house. I was really bummed that we weren’t going to the lake. I really want our first time mating to be at the lake. I mind linked Malachi, so others couldn’t hear me, “Malachi? Can you promise me one thing?” He smiled and replied aloud, “Anything for you my darling. What is it?” I continue through our link, “Will you promise me that we will wait to mate until tomorrow? I really want our first time together to be at the lake.” His body tensed up, and his grip tighten as he heard my first sentence, but then he seemed to relax a little at my second sentence. “You made me nervous there for a moment, it almost sounded like you didn’t want to mate with me.” I could see the sadness in his eyes, so I kissed him. “It’s not that I don’t want to mate with you. I just want our first time to be special. Plus, the idea makes me a little nervous, and the waterfall calms my nerves.” He looked at me with sympathy and said through our mind link, “Are you nervous to mate with me because of what those rogues did to you?” I thought about it for a moment, and replied, “I think so. Before them I had never been with a man in that way, and the idea of mating makes me nervous, because all they caused me was pain.” I could feel a tear roll down my cheek. Malachi pulled me closer to his chest and held me like that until we got into his room. “We can wait as long as you need Allison. Just keep in mind that your heat will come soon, and there will be no fighting it when that happens.” He said with a slight grin. “For now, let’s get into some pjs and hold each in bed.”
