chapter 11~ plotting revenge

kyle's pov

When I found out Octavia was alex's mate, I was furious. if he found his fated mate, that means my plans of overthrowing him were going to be harder. I hated that man with a burning passion but pretended to be his best friend so I could take him down. after his father kicked my parent out of the pack when I was a kid, I've hated them all.

I came up with the plan to have my sister get with him as a chosen mate. nobody in the pack knew that Leyla was my sister and who we really are. when I told my sister about my plan, she was more than happy to help me achieve it after what happened to our family. shes always wanted to be at the top rather than being a roughe like our parents were.

I made my way to the secret cave that Leyla and I met at once a week so we could talk about what we would do now that octavia is here. we both hated that girl and what it meant for us now that she is here.

when I got to the cave, I found leyla already there waiting for me. she looked livid, probably from whatever happened at the mall today. I decided not to go with Alex and Liam because I knew it would only p**s me off, and I couldn't have my cover blown because of some b***h.

"Kyle, do you know what they did to me today?!?! they humilated me in front of quite a few pack members. Now everyone knows octavia is alex's mate! I wish she never showed up here, "

I listened to her while she ranted on about Octavia and Alex and how she was worried about what this would do to her and what the pack would think of her after today. it made me even more mad thinking about how they humiliated her in front of everyone. she is still the Luna of this pack until alex and octavia marked and mated each other. I would personally see that they wouldn't get that far.

"Leyla, sis, I need you to listen to me very carefully.."

I waited until I had her whole attention before telling her my plan.

"I need you to mate with someone and get preganate. if he thinks the baby is his, he'll hold off on marking and mating octavia because he wouldn't want to hurt the baby. that'll give us time to overthrow him and get rid of that nasty lone wolf."

I knew my sister slept around. I didn't really care about it. she is her own person, and if she likes having s*x that was on her. I just needed her to agree with the plan.

she looked at me with a mischievous glint in her eyes.

"Brother, I am already one step ahead of you. I found out I was pregnant this morning. doctor said I am about three weeks along now. I planned on telling Alex tomorrow at breakfast."

a smile formed on my face when she told me this. my sister, although young, is quite conniving when it comes to something she wants.

"That's great, new sister. I can't with to see alex's and octaviea's faces when you tell them. it'll definitely drive a wedge in between them, that's for sure."

when we were done talking, I went back to patrolling the borders. I couldn't stop imagining what the reaction would be for the two new mates.

alex's pov

when I got back home, the place was quiet. I didn't hear or see any sign of Leyla. I knew I should have been worried, but I am just glad there won't be any trouble tonight.

I went to the kitchen and poured myself a glass of water. looking around my small house, I realized it didn't feel like home anymore. octavia is my home, and I hated being away from her.

I felt my wolf whine for his mate. he didn't understand why we haven't claimed her ad ours yet. he was upset with me for letting her stay somewhere else and not with us. I hated it too, but I understand where she is coming from.

when I was done it the kitchen, I turned the lights off and headed for my room on the second floor. I knew I wouldn't get much sleep tonight. thoughts of octavia running through my mind.

I grabbed a pair of sweat pants and headed for the bathroom, hoping a warm shower would help me relax a bit.

when I got out of the shower, I quickly dried off and went to the room. I laied down for a bit, trying to get some sleep.

an hour and a half later, I realized that it was useless trying to sleep. I couldn't stop thinking about her and how perfect she was. her beautiful brown wavy hair, her plump pink lips, and how her face turned rosey when she was near me. and her body, even though the years in the wild were harsh on her and she was a bit too skinny, her curves were to die for. I could wait for the day when I could claim every single inch of her and show her how much I worshipped her.

my thoughts were interrupted by the front door opening and closing. I quickly got up to see if Leyla had come home.

when I walked down the stairs, I could see her in the kitchen getting a glass of milk. the scene from the clothes store played in my head, and I was instantly angry for how she treated octavia. I went to the kitchen to confront her about it.

"leyla, what did I tell you about starting s**t with my mate. didn't I tell you you would be punished for it."

Leyla jumped and spun around to face me. I clearly scared her. she probably wasn't expecting me to still be awake.

"Jesus c**t Alex don't scare me like that."

she held her hand to her chest right ubove where her heart would be.

"You didn't answer my question. "

I watched as her face drained of color, and her hands stared to fidget at her sides.

"im so sorry, Alex, it's just I've been looking at that dress all month and finally got enough to buy it, and she took it. I was just so mad about it. and I'm was hurt you gave her your card.. you've never done that with me, and I'm your luna..."

she looked away from me as she spoke that last sentence. I didn't care how mad or hurt she was. she disobeyed a direct order from her alpha.

"You may have been mad and hurt, but you still disobeyed my order to you. and on top of that, you cause a scene in front of people and use your title to get what you want. how many times have you used your title to get stuff and got away with it?"

she refused to look me in the eye as I yelled at her for her actions. I knew she was scared, but I didn't care.

"Alex, I sewar, that was the only time. I just really wanted that dress for the meeting you have next month. I wanted to look nice when we showed up."

I didn't believe her for one second. with the way she wouldn't look at me, told me everything I needed to know.

"leyla, you're not going to the meeting with me. octavia will be coming along with me since she is my mate. and you will be staying here dealing with the punishment I give you."

I watched her eyes go as wide as saucers and her mouth drop open. for a few seconds, all she did was open and close her mouth, trying to find words to say.

"You... you can't do this to me! I'm the Luna of this darn pack, not her! I've been going to these things with you for three and a half months now!"

I sneered at her.

"There you go with using your title as the Luna again. you may be the damn Luna, but your not my mate. I don't and have never considered you as my mate or even someone I love. the only reason your the Luna now is because of the f*****g council. if it was up to me, I wouldn't have taken a chosen mate in the first f*****g place. and your punishment will be two months of working in the pack house as a maid. I didn't want to see your face until you're done with your shifts. don't worry about the paperwork that you've been doing. I'll take care of that."

she went silent. she stood there looking at me in shock.. then anger took over.

"You can't do this to me.. I'm pregnant.."
