Without warning, something appeared in front of us, with a dark blue aura.
I could feel the immense power radiating from the object.
WTF! And ... OH.MY.GOODESS! Went through my mind. Am I dreaming or is this for real?
My question was answered by Grim, "No Gabriel, all the stories you heard as a kid about the Lycons of Legend are real."
I felt my heart racing in my chest as I realised what Grim had just told me. I had never imagined that these mythical creatures were real. I was filled with awe and excitement.
I remained silent, watching the aura reveal a Golden Royal Lycon Emblem.
The clue meant one of our mates was from a royal line, which I found fascinating. The emblem turned into two bracelets that attached themselves to my wrists quickly.
From the corner of my eye, I saw someone move to stand in front of me, where she took hold of both of my hands and held them against her chest.
I blanked out whatever Grim was trying to say to me when I did make an ass out of myself by letting my jaw drop open at the sight of one of my mates' mother.
"Gabriel, all will be revealed tomorrow. Make preparations like you normally do for our family. And does your father know about your half of a mate?"
Mrs Reynolds said, smiling.
I know there were more pieces missing from the mate bond thing, so I closed my mouth to answer her.

"Mrs Reynolds, unfortunately, that's a big no. But right now I need to help your daughter, and it needs to be done now or else evil will find her location by her vibes that I can feel."
Fifteen seconds later, I carried our mate to the bathroom, and placed her in the bath, filling it up with cold water.
I felt over the moon when I carried Ruth, feeling the faintness from the sparks - along with her enticing delicious scent.
"We need to find our other half." Grim chimed inside my head. "Plus, you have five minutes to explain our situation to her mother."
Out of the corner of my eyes, Mrs Reynold stood close by, watching me. As I kept my eyes focused on our mate, watching the water level rising, I used each second to explain to her about my wolf, our two different mates and that the Moon Goddess only communicates with my wolf, Grim.
When the water level covered her face, I closed the tap. I turned around to find Mr and Mrs Reynolds standing by the threshold of the bathroom.
I was about to ask something when the water started to glow with golden rays. That's when her parents came to stand on the right side of me.
Grim started to do a countdown from ten, where I told them that I would inform my dad and an Elder as soon as I get back home, and let them know by 'w******p' the confirmation of the holiday booking.
We watched as the water turned to ice. I grabbed a towel the same moment Ruth broke the surface. I quickly helped her out and wrapped the towel around her, making sure that her back was pressed against my chest, as she faced both her parents.
Hearing her speak, both Grim and I felt a small connection with Ruth.
I spoke, telling her my name, and then I felt her tense up a bit.
Until her mom revealed her secret, asking if I was her crush and then she freaked out.
Grim and I felt ourselves smirking at the acknowledgement that she does have feelings for us. A free bonus step forward for us guys to get this girl to agree to go on our first date.
I let her go when she mustered up her courage to take a step away from us to look into our eyes. I could feel that connection, that 'Love at first sight' moment.
Grim reminded me that we had to get back to see if that old Elder guy or my connection had found anything else on Wolf Lore about any special werewolf being born seventeen years ago.
Which also includes making a special booking for the family and her friends today. Even though I know it is a busy snow season in Silverstone Valley, I know that my mom can work her magic.
I said my goodbyes and left the bathroom. When out of view, Grim teleports us back inside my room.
"How are we going to find the other piece of our mate, Gabriel?" Grim inquired as he started to pace inside my head.
"Can't you ask Goddess Selene to help us out again?" I asked instead, even though it is rude to ask or answer a question with a question.
When I didn't get an answer, I decided to go to my laptop, and leave training for another day. My mates were more important.
Checking out my emails, I saw a response from Elder Bennett. His reply was short and brief, telling me that he is on his way to talk on the Royal Lycon's.
"I am back with some good news. Our other half of our mate is going to be at the resort with Justin and his family, while he is keeping a watchful eye on her."
Grim elaborated more that they know and has a dark witch searching for Ruth. That is why her body was giving off those weird vibes.
Plus, the Reynolds are her high Ace protection team. They have been protecting the bloodline for over two thousand years.
"My dad should be awake by now. I think it's time to tell him everything, from you, Grim, right up to your info from the Moon Goddess Selene."
