Arthur's POV I was stressed out after all the mating ceremony rites and rituals performed, the purification, bond sharing, and sealing, the bowls shared, and the last declaration. And then came Loretta's situation at the time of merriment, the running and worries that overtook at the sight of the lady and how she had pleaded to be saved by him before slipping out into unconsciousness. The trouble he faced before she spelled out his name and the emotional traumatization she could have passed through from her past made her not communicate with any of them. Then the realization dawned on him during the meeting with the elders that her father did act like a monster, beating and chasing her out of her pack into the street until she had to run down to the pack, interrupting a ceremony for help.
