Rage

{Angelo’s POV} When I saw her face, my heart nearly stopped, her cheek was cut open and bleeding, while her eye was swelled and bruising. He hit her, he damaged her beautiful face, he hurt the sweetest woman I think I’d ever met. Sure, she could be blunt, even a little sarcastic from what I’d seen, but she was sweet enough to take care of my brother, to help him when he needed it. To give us both cupcakes that she made. To warn us that she’d have to tell the cops, and even scold us for coming up with a bad excuse. I jumped in my car and made my way back to the hospital, that piece of human filth had to still be around there somewhere. There’s no way that he’d make it far if he was that drunk. He hurt her.. and I can just let that go. I couldn’t stop myself from being protective of her.. I couldn’t stop myself from wanting to keep her safe. I’d ki** him, it’s the first thing that popped into my head when I saw her. He deserved to die for doing that to her. I drove like a madman making my way to the hospital, and once I got there, I saw the same doctor that had followed her through the hospital. He had bandages wrapped around his hand, he was sitting on the sidewalk that led up to the hospital, smoking a cigarette, as though he’d not just traumatized Maisie. I swerved up next to him, jumping out of my car and stalking up to him. “What the he** do you think you’re doing? Don’t you know that you could hurt someone driving like that?” He slurred. I felt anger swell in my chest. “I could have hurt someone.. coward! It’s easy for you to beat up on a defenseless woman, but someone like me shows up and you tuck tail and hide!” I sneered, grabbing him by his shirt collar and lifting him up. “Y-You mean Maisie? That little tease! What did she say, huh? I’ll make sure I report her now! She is always pretending like she isn’t interested in dating! She must be a wh*** if she’s hanging around someone like you!” He scoffed. I saw red, I punched him hard across the face, sending his body flying back and landing on the ground, he was unconscious. I grabbed him up, opening my trunk and tossing him in. I’d make him regret ever speaking to her, let alone hurting her. It takes a real piece of sh** to hurt a woman for turning them down. I drove back to the house, pulling into the driveway and grabbing him out of the trunk. I packed him over my shoulder into the house, and trudging into the basement. I knew they heard me come back, they were probably all wondering what I was doing, but I didn’t care. The only thing that I cared about was the pound of flesh I’d take from this bas**** for laying a hand on what doesn’t belong to him. I threw him into one of the cages, it was similar to jail cells, but the bars were thicker, and closer together. It made it nearly impossible for anyone to get out. The basement was soundproof, so unless to the door was left open, no one, not even in the house, could hear what was happening down here. I strapped him to a chair, and grabbed myself one, turning it around and straddling the seat, while using the back of the chair as an armrest. I sat, waiting for him to wake up, staring at his unconscious form. He was nothing, he was no one compared to her. She was a breath of fresh air, and he was the toxic fumes that tried to intoxicate her. “Angelo! You didn’t!” I could hear Marco, and soon I felt his hand on my shoulder. “Mikey told me who she is.. and seeing her face, even I was mad, but you can’t just go around kidnapping doctors! He isn’t some lowlife crime lord, or even one of their goons! He’s a doctor, from a legit hospital, he’ll be missed!” He scolded me. I rolled my eyes, scoffing as I looked up at him, shooting him a cold glare. “No one will miss this bas****! Even if they did, I don’t care! He doesn’t get to just walk away from this! He hurt her, then had the audacity to call her a tease, and a who**, he even said he was going to report her, for what? Turning him down?” I sneered. “This guy is a pathetic loser, who can’t handle a woman telling him no! I’m doing the women in this town a favor!” Marco’s eyes were dark, he hated men that hurt woman as much as I did, I knew that. He was trying hard to rein me in, to make sure I didn’t do anything stupid, but he can’t stand men like this either. Men that use their strength, their position, their authority to hurt others, especially woman. “You know that I hate people like him, but I’m worried about you! Were you even careful when you snatched him? Were you seen? Were there cameras?” He asked. My jaw clenched, honestly I didn’t even think about any of that, I was just fueled by my rage. “I didn’t check, I don’t know, and honestly right now, I don’t care!” I shot him another glare over my shoulder. “Bring me my laptop!” It wasn’t long before my laptop was placed in my hands. I pulled up my system, and searched for any street cams, and hospital cams in the area. One good thing about what I do, is even if we aren’t careful, I can usually get rid of any video evidence. I hacked into the traffic cams, and erased them for that time frame, while also clipping part of the area where no one was traveling on the street, and looping it, covering the time frame of me snatching him. I quickly did the same thing with the hospital cams, making it seem as though nothing happened. I quickly closed my laptop and handed it back to him. “Now, if you aren’t going to help, you should go!” I staid coldly, gripping the doctor’s face roughly in one hand. “Because, I can promise you, he isn’t walking out of here alive!”
