Chapter 3

Amelia POV

I carefully laid him on the bed with the help of lily. The dull light of the moon was illuminating the cave. The silence was so thick that it could be cut with a knife. Lily started the fire with the help of some woods to minimize the cold.

" He needs a clean pair of clothes. His are drenched in blood." I said to lily.

" I think my father's clothes will fill fit him. Wait here I will go and get them " She said going outside the cave.

Again silence filled the cave. I looked at him. Under the light of the fire. I stared at him and noticed how handsome he was. He had dark midnight black messy hairs, his facial features were as sharp as a blade. His body was muscular. His height was almost 6'5. His presence held an aura of dominance.

I had never been attracted to anyone but I don't know why but I was attracted to him. My hands were urging me to touch him. It was like my hands had a mind of their own. They were running smoothly through his messy hair. Then towards his face. I traced his beautiful eyes, then his sharp nose, and then his plump red lips.

My body was begging me to close the distance between us. My mind was fully clouded. I wanted to kiss him so badly. I closed the distance between us.

" I am back," Lily said. I regained my senses and picked the clothes from her hand.

" What was I thinking," I said to myself.

I checked his pulse. It was slow but much better than before. I peeled off his shirt. His figure wasn't helping me to focus on his wounds.

Lily handed me the potion for healing and bandages. I cleaned his wounds and then bandaged him carefully. By the time I was satisfied His body was almost covered in bandages. I left his bloody pants on. Because I just wouldn't dare to touch them. I covered him in a blanket.

" Let's go, let him have a rest," I said to lily.

I added wood to the fire to keep it alive till the morning. We then walked out of the cave. I cast an award on the cave entrance so that no one would be able to enter. We walked silently towards the main house.

" Good night, we will discuss things tomorrow, " Lily said as we entered the house.

I nodded and walked toward my room. I knew that it was the silence before the storm. Tomorrow she would be blasting my head with questions. She worries too much. But right now I needed my beauty sleep.

I lay on my bed and covered myself in the blanket. As I closed my eyes my mind drifted towards that handsome stranger. I never felt this strong pull towards anyone. I wondered who he was. Judging by the dominance he would most likely be the beta or gamma of the pack. Then a strange question popped into my mind.

" Is he married or has a girlfriend ". At the thought of it, a wave of anger and jealousy ran through me.

" The girl must be very lucky," I thought and drifted off to sleep dreaming about him.

I woke up earlier than my daily time. I freshened myself and decided to visit him before breakfast. It was a beautiful morning. The birds were chipping happily. The wind was blowing smoothly.

I entered the cave. He was in the same position as last night. I checked his pulse. It was still very slow. I put my hands on his body and mumbled the healing spell. The spell would lessen his pain and would help in fast recovery but it wouldn't heal him overnight as he was too injured.

The fire was on the verge of finishing. I set the fire again. I noticed that I was late for breakfast. I rushed towards the house. I bragged in the dining hall. Everyone stopped eating and looked at me. Elder Caroline shook her head in disappointment then resumed her breakfast. I took a seat beside lily.

" Why are you late? Everyone was asking about you " she whispered.

" I went to visit him " I explained.

" How is he? " she asked.

" Same as before " I answered.

She nodded and resumed her breakfast. I ate to my heart's content.

" Where were you yesterday? " Elder Caroline asked me.

My heart stopped for a moment. And my breath stuck in my throat.

" Had she known about it already? It isn't possible. We were very cautious when we went in and out of the coven " I thought.

I looked at Lily. She was looking at me with wide eyes and was nervously scratching her hands.

" I was in my room for the whole day " I answered.

" You missed yesterday's practice, today you will practice for two hours extra," she said.

I then suddenly remembered that I went to practice portal spells in my secret hideout.

" ok " I replied flatly.

Lily held my hand and took me outside the house. She rushed me towards the back of the mountain.

" We need to talk," she said stopping outside the cave (my hideout).

" You don't have to worry about anything. I will handle all issues " I said.

" How could I not worry. You know how much our coven despises werewolves. Once this matter leaks the consequences will be unimaginable. " she angrily said.

" I can't just leave him in a forest. And I assure you that once he regains his consciousness I will send him back to the forest " I said calmly.

"Just be careful, many eyes are watching you. A wrong move can put you in a lot of danger " she said worriedly.

We checked him once again and then I went to practice with Elder Caroline.
