The Alpha's Ballerina Mate

"Thank Goddess you're okay. Go get cleaned up then come back downstairs." Mom says with a huge hug. I nod and head to my bathroom to wash off the dirt and blood. Issac was just waking up as I walked in.

"What the hell happened to you?" Issac yells when he sees the state I'm in.

"I went for a run with my brothers mate and we were attacked by five rouges."I said getting some clothes from my closet. Issac jumps up grabbing my upper arm, looking at me wide eyed he asks if I'm hurt. I shake my head no and go to turn on the shower.

I took my time washing my hair and leaving the conditioner in for several minutes to make sure it will be really soft. After toweling off I dried my hair and French braided it back. Dressing in a pair of high waisted jeans and a black, long-sleeved crop top I headed down to talk to my family. Issac had already packed up while I showered and was saying bye to my family. I walked him out making him promise to call me in a couple days. Watching him drive away makes me miss the rest of my friends back in New York.

"Milly!" Mitchell called from the porch. "The Alpha wants you and Kim to be debreifed about the rouge attack this afternoon." I nod heading back into the house. "Lunch will be ready soon, we will head to the pack house after we eat. Y'all will meet with the Gamma today since the Alpha is at another pack for an alliance meeting."

Lunch was amazing, it included fried chicken, mac & cheese, collards and biscuits. I always put a little hot vinegar on my collards. We sat around the table having conversation while we ate, even though Kim looked uninterested beside me.

"Kim, are you alright now? You still look pale." I mind linked to Kim. She looks up at me deep in thought then mind links back.

"I found out I was pregnant again last week, we ran to the infirmary before we came here. The baby is fine, I'm just still in shock." I could not help it, I squealed as loud as I could. Everyone was looking at me wondering why I made this reaction. Micheal caught on pretty quickly, he stood up to address the whole family.

"Well everyone, it looks like we have some news. We were going to wait till Christmas but I know Milly can't keep secrets so..... WE'RE PREGNANT!"

Everyone was so excited that another sweet baby will be added to our loving family, and thankful that the attack wasn't worse with Kim in the early stages of pregnancy. We congratulated the happy couple and talked about baby names.

Micheal, Kim and I walked to the pack house after lunch since it was only 3 blocks from my parents home. We walked up to the third floor to Gamma Ben's office.

Knock Knock Knock

"Come in" I heard from the other side of the door. The three of us sat down on the other side of Gamma Bens desk as he began to address us. He has gained so much muscle mass since the last time I was home. He is tall, about 6'4, and muscular, dark brown hair with honey brown eyes and a square shaped face. He has always been so handsome and I can see he is still unmated.

"Micheal has already told me what Kim said happened earlier today, but I need to hear it from your point of view too. Any small detail could give us clues to what these rouges might want. What did they say to you? Did they use a certain fighting strategy? Did it seem more like a kidnapping attempt or assassination?"

"Okay, Kim and I went for a run after breakfast," I started. "What time was that?" Ben asked while writing something down on a notepad.

"About 10am" I answered, then continued.

"We ran for a while then laid down by the stream to the northwest border of the pack territory. We both heard some rustling in the bushes coming from multiple areas around us. We ran. I could feel them chasing us but Kim tripped over a fallen branch and hurt her ankle." He looked up at Kim and smiled before continuing to write.

"I knew we would have to fight, she needed a few minutes to heal before she could run on her busted ankle again. I had already mind linked my father of our location and knew someone was on the way to help. When they caught up to us the one you have in jail taunted us. He said "well, look what we have here," that was all they said before circling us and beginning to attack." I said finishing up my statement.

"So you feel it was more of an assassination attempt than a kidnapping attempt?" Ben asks.

"Yes sir, the way they were fighting was not gentle. I dont think they were trying to just subdue us." Gamma Ben may only be five years older than me but he has always been kind, and has done everything in his power to protect our pack since he took over for his father who died five years ago.

"The Alpha might have more questions for you ladies once he reads the report, if so I will let you know. Thank you for coming." With a hand shake he lead us out of his office. Micheal lead us to the first floor and gave Kim a short sweet kiss before going back up to his office.

Kim asked if I wanted to go to the park with her and Mallory for a play date since it was such a nice day for December. I was freezing my ass off when I left New York yesterday, but here in South Carolina its still so pleasant outside.
