CHAPTER 4

They got inside the car and drove to work. During the drive,they were both silent, Natalie wasn't even looking at his direction.
He decided to wait till they got to their office. When they got to work, Natalie was the first to get down from the car and she didn't even look back or bother to wait for Ezekiel.
Ezekiel followed her,they got to their desk and were about to begin the work for the day.
Ezekiel walked up to her desk and asked, “Did something happen this morning when you woke up?”.
“Nothing happened,” she answered, still not looking at him. Ezekiel used his hand to draw her face close to his, “Are you shy because of what happened between us yesterday?” He asked her, searching her eyes for an answer.
“I don't know what you are thinking about me,you might be thinking that I'm cheap because I gave in easily to you,” she said looking down.
Ezekiel didn't know what to say again because of what she said. “Why would I think you are cheap, common Natalie,” he said.
He kissed her, “it's not that at all,” he said. As he was talking, Calista opened the door and met them kissing. She was so furious, what would be her next plan? Let's find out.
Calista was shocked by what she had just seen. She couldn't believe that her plan had backfired, and that Natalie and Ezekiel are still together.
She felt a rush of emotions - anger and jealousy. She knew she had to do something to break them up, “let's see if my next plan won't break you up.”
She didn't bother to separate them. She left the office immediately. When she got inside her car,she was still thinking of what her next plan would be.
Suddenly, an Idea popped up in her head, “yes,I will make sure you regret what you did Ezekiel.”
It was closing time and Ezekiel still had so many things to do. He could see that Natalie is tired.
“You can go home and wait for me,you look tired already,” he said to her.
“No,I can just wait till you finish everything,” she replied.
“Don't worry, just go home, I will join you soon,” he persuaded her.
“Okay then, don't be long,” she said and waved at him.
Natalie was out of the building,she had to trek to the main road before she could see a cab. Any car hasn't been allocated to her so she still had to carry a cab when necessary.
She got to the main road and a cab was already on standby waiting for her. She wasn't cautious of the cab she got into because she was feeling sleepy.
She just told the cab man the address she's going to and closed her eyes.
Meanwhile,the car isn't a cab,it was Calista's plan to disguise it as a cab. Calista's plan was to kidnap her,torture her and then kill her just like she did for the last one.
Calista was happy thinking her plan had worked, and suddenly the cab was crossed by a black van. Natalie immediately opened her eyes thinking they had an accident.
Men dressed in black came down from the van and went to the cab. When she saw the men in black,she thought she was going to get kidnapped.
Before they got to her,she quickly took out her phone to call Ezekiel,but before she could even dial his number,they carried her out of the car into their van with all her belongings and drove off.
Calista,who was watching the scene, knew those men were from Ezekiel. “It seems you are prepared for me, that's so cool of you,” she said to herself feeling frustrated.
This is her second plan that Ezekiel just ruined.
The van drove to an unknown place. The place looks like a dungeon. Natalie was already crying but when she saw Ezekiel standing outside waiting for them.
She looked surprised. “Take that man inside,I will be with you soon,” he instructed his men.
He went to hug Natalie, “ are you okay?” He asked her.
“What's going on here,” she asked him, still amazed.
Ezekiel explained what happened to her,from when he forgot to give her his car key,to when she went inside the cab and everything.
“I know Calista would want to try something silly so I was prepared,” he said to her.
Natalie hugged him, “ Thank you for saving me,” she said.
“I'm always here for you,” he said, hugging her back.
“Let's go and get some information from that man, I'm sure he's working with Calista,” he said to her, leading her inside.
When they got inside,the man was tied up and tortured a little.
Natalie felt pity for him, “who told you to kidnap her?” Ezekiel asked the man.
“An unknown number called me that a lady would be coming out of that big building,I should carry her,” the man said in a weak voice.
“Hope did you know she's the one?” Ezekiel asked.
“Her picture was sent to me,” the man answered.
“The woman threatened to kill my wife and children if I didn't carry out her order,” the man added.
Ezekiel told his men to torture him more. “He's still hiding some things,” he said before he left with Natalie.
When they got inside the car, Ezekiel asked her “are you okay?”
“Yes,” she replied. Ezekiel started the car and they drove off.
When they got home,they were welcome by their maids. Ezekiel and Natalie went to their respective rooms.
When Natalie got to her room,she thought about her feelings. “I think I've fallen for Ezekiel,but I can't tell him,” she said to herself.
“This is just a contract marriage, I'm being paid,I have to keep my feelings to myself,” she concluded in her mind.
Likewise, Ezekiel was thinking about the same thing Natalie is thinking about. “I don't think I can control my feelings any more,I have to tell her tonight before it is too late,” he also concluded in his mind.
They both went to freshen up and got ready for dinner. When dinner was ready,the maid went to call them and they came out at the same time.
Natalie was wearing her nightwear without putting on a bra, Ezekiel could see her pointed n*****s.
